Entertaining. Sierra Hill is a relatively new author to me but what I have read I have enjoyed, so when I was given the chance to read Offside the first book in the Vancouver Kings series, I jumped right in. This is a second chance at love story that drew me in. The characters were engaging and you cannot help but fall for Ballas (aka Ballas the Beast) and Karis. Ballas is negotiating for what could be his last hockey contract and he is shocked when he learns that the woman he hooked up with in Vegas is the one he has to negotiate with. This was an entertaining, well written story that drew me in and held my attention throughout.

Touched me on so many levels. 4.5 Stars for OffSide ( Vancouver Vikings #1) Sierra Hill is a fairly new author to me but I love sports romances and when hockey is involved I jump in with both feet. OffSide is Karis Spurlock and Ballas Keeney’s entertaining and at times emotional journey which is book one in the new Vancouver Vikings Series and honestly if this book is anything to go by Ms Hill will certainly have a hit series on her hands. Karis has taken over her Uncles holdings because he’s in a coma and that means running the Vancouver Vikings NHL Team as well as an NBA Team that he also owns. She is only 28, the youngest owner of an NHL team and the only way she can survive is by becoming an ice queen….. Ballas is the offensive D-man for the Vikings and his contract is up but as an older player and the fact the GM hates him and wants him out he is fighting for his career. What he didn’t expect when he walked into the conference room was to see a woman he had a one night stand with, who is now in control of his career. More surprising is the fact the ice queen wants him on her team. What follows is two people fighting the attraction and chemistry they both feel as she try’s to keep her Uncles legacy going. So will love win the day…..one click this gem to find out. I loved this book and I can’t wait for what’s to come from this very talented author and her Vikings.
