The Aurora City. Every book I have read by Masson has caused loss of sleep because I just can't put it down. Great characters and intense story lines. Aurora City is well worth loosing sleep over.

Sci-Fi fan. This series of books are fantastic! I mistakenly read the last book first as I did with the "Adrian Tarn" series. After I read the other books in order I read the last book again. This series is an amazing story and I hope Mr. Mason will continue this series. Gary

Recommended. Aliens and spiritual discussion. #4 in series. Although the fourth in a series beginning with The Empty Door, I think the book stands on its own. The main characters in this book (Think of a company of actors putting on a series of plays and alternating the lead roles.) are a beautiful computer genius; her genius absent-minded professor father; her boyfriend who is an Army brat raised in Tibet and schooled to become a Master; and a former Civil War officer who is now a member of an advanced group of beings on a higher level who and which is waging a war against aliens and evil. Aliens do not equal evil here. You will like the argument between the robot and the car. Peeve: Word usage. The word "I" is almost always the subject of a sentence. "Me" is used in its place as the object of a sentence or clause.

Cool story plots. Story started a little rough and ended kind of quick. But, had wonderful unique concepts throughout.

The Aurora City. Great read. You are a good story teller who is able to make the reader fill like he or she is present with the characters.

Extraordinary!. A very unique story that is well written and spell binding. I have been an avid SciFi fan for 50 years and read tens of thousands of books and never encountered a story like this one. Kudos to the author for the brilliant imagination that is so colorfully depicted with style and charm. A must read!

Good Sci-Fi Action. This book has a very interesting plot with alien invasions, creatures from a higher plane, advanced technology and good old fashioned down-to-earth heroes. Almost a "page turner".

Out of Sequence. Good story, great humor and well-written but far too religious for my taste. Also, apparently a sequel to another book with no upfront reference that one should read the other first.

Awesome! A great read.. This one will keep you up way past bedtime. Can't put it down. Action galore along with a funny sarcastic wit keeps everything flowing. Be aware that this is #4 in a series. Lots of fun.

Aurora city. Super trip

Nice reading. Very interesting intrigue. Well developed. Makes you want to return to Aurora City with Markman every time he did.

Ended Too Soon. I was more than impressed with this book. In the end I found myself caring more about the characters than the conflict between worlds. There are good arguments made for the existence of God and taken at face value make the book work. There are times when the technical reasoning for this or that seems to become technobabble however reading through them added to the story. Lastly the book ended too soon for me. It's one of those that you want to go on so you can find what the future is for the characters and what decisions they make as we'll as the outcome of the decisions.

Had it all. a version of good vs evil, time travel, relationship, & higher powers sprinkled in, thank goodness!

Encore, Encore!. Yet another great read from Mr. Mason. I look forward to the next adventure in this series, as they seem to improve with each one.

Wow. Description, umm, great, epic!. I loved it. I went after this book because I loved his other series; Fatal Boarding, Deep Crossing, Shock Diamonds. (Read in that order) Same w/ this series, I read out of order, this is the last one (after Glass Hummingbird and The Empty Door) I have yet to read. But this author is incredible, and I will always look forward to more.

The Aurora City. Once again another totally enjoyable story in this particular series. Nice and easy to read making it hard to put down. Just one more episode to go at this time, so I’ve purchased it and am now ready to read it. As I stated enjoyed the story so highly recommended.

The aurora city. Normally, I have to make myself suspend disbelief throughout reading a work of fiction, but this book was different. It was such an enjoyable read, I found myself totally immersed in the book. Escapism at its best Don from Great Yarmouth, England

Ok Mr Mason, I have now read all of your books, loved every one of them and if you don't write more soon I may have to consider violence :) Your characterisations are wonderful, and story lines surprising and gripping. Every sci fi lover should read your work! (I am pleased that you are spelling aisle correctly now :) ) Please write more soon.

Best book I have read in ages!!. Brilliant! A well thought out book which is enjoyable to read. The characters are likable and it's different to the normal sci-fi books with intense discussions about the meaning of life, good vs evil on a mutli-dimensional scale and enough action and intrigue to satisfy anyone. Cannot recommend this series enough!

Flat style. After Fatal Boarding, I could not finish Aurora City. The story is told very much as a "I went there and did this and then I went somewhere else and found that". I could not build a mental picture of any of the main characters (perhaps too many?), and did not engage with either of the two main leads. Pity!

Excitement. Such a good reader. Exciting,humorous and quite unforgettable.
