AMAZING!. What an ending to this fabulous series! What a journey these books have taken us on. The creativity and imagination is incredible. How she comes up with all these monsters to terrorize us with, I have no idea I have loved these characters and enjoyed their stories! If you have not read these books I can't recommended them enough, you will fall in love with these characters.

Out of the Park!. Secrets of Ruin is over the top. I don’t think I’ve had such an adrenalin rush with a book before. There is a lot of self-reflection from Kaylia and Brokk, which allows them to battle their inner demons. It’s always amazing to see characters grow in Brenda’s books. If you want a series with great character development, excellent story telling, and perfect execution, this series is a definite must read.

Epic ending to this series!. Kaylia and Brokk’s adventure has been one great roller coaster ride for sure. The nightmares that this couple have to overcome and do is amazing. Kaylia having to learn things from her past and Brokk right there to support her in every step of the way is true love. They are not alone though with all the family support backing them. Karma was great in the end of this book and I truly enjoyed every moment of it!

Great end to an amazing series!. I was so sad when I learned that this would be the last book in the series, but honestly it is such a great ending. I was worried there wouldn’t be enough time to wrap everything up, but Brenda did it so well, even throwing in an extra twist! This entire series is the perfect balance of love, friendship, action and adventure, and this book is definitely not an exception. Kaylia and Brokk’s adventures in Doomed Valley are a wild ride from beginning to end, but they don’t actually end there. So much happens in their story, and my emotions were all over the place while reading this. Brenda really has a way of making you connect with the characters and their stories, and I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to this journey. I am excited for the spin-off, and to meet some new characters, but I definitely hope that we get to check in on our favorite family in Dragonia occasionally!

Best book of the year!!!!. I don’t have words for how this book made me feel. Everything in the book is a work of art from the first word to the very last. The story was well written and your feelings will feel like a tornado by the end of it. I didn’t know I needed this book till it was in my hands and now it will be stuck with me for life the adventure, love, and characters in general all amazing. So all in all if your like adventure and having an amazing emotional roller coaster ride of a read this is for you

Epic conclusion to a phenomenal series. As they say, all good things but come to an end…. eventually. While there was absolutely nothing good about the different realms and the creatures that dwell within them, I’m going to miss it all. This book was an emotional roller coaster and it really pulled the old heartstrings. I love these characters and the way they gave it their all fighting for their truest loves. The journey was worth it all.

Exciting, intense and unexpected. Wow, what a way to end a series and hint at the beginning of a new series. Everything about this book was exciting, intense and for me totally unexpected. Great world building with unique characters, old and new. Highly recommend starting at the beginning and binge reading all the way through, you will not be disappointed.

Shadow Realm series finale. Kayli’s and Brokk’s story will have you cheering, crying and your heart melting. As it’s the final in the series you will also get glimpses of all your favorites and a wonderful end.

Wow!!! Amazing!!. What an amazing book!! Secrets of Ruin was so so good I wanted to keep reading more and more! The book was written so well and keeps you on the seat of your pants. This book kept me on an emotional rollercoaster and I loved it! I highly recommend this book.

Beautiful end to a brilliant series!!. I must say this, I love everything Brenda K. Davies writes. And her books are edited beautifully. Her characters are well fleshed out, they become friends. Not all authors can do that. I am so sad to say goodbye to the series. But excited to see what’s next. Brenda is brilliant in tying up all ends of everyone’s story. I’ll say Orin and Sahira are my favorites. Her creepy, scary characters give nightmares. But, that is fine. Battle scenes are as well done as a Hollywood movie. I highly recommend this book and the whole series. Grab them today.

Amazing read. Every time I read one of her books I think it can’t get any better than this but than the next one comes out and I’m like wow this is even more captivating. The same can be said for this one. Brokk and Kayla have been captured and the torment they went through while in captivity is heart wrenching but luckily they escape but that doesn’t make things any easier on them. We also get to see some of the characters we’ve come to know through out this book as well. The love Brokk and Kaylia share is shown through each page of this book. If you love the fantasy world with witches vampires dragons lycans this series is definitely for you. I could not put this down while reading it. This is the 11th book in this series.
