Wow!. The people who gave this book a bad review don't know what they are talking about! This was a wonderful emotional heart wrenching story and I can't wait to read the second book! A.L. Jackson, you are a fabulous story teller!

READ IT. Wow. This book. The intensity of emotions, feelings of Jared and Aly were palpable. It was intense, heartbreaking and just plain wonderful! Come to Me Softly was a story I felt like I was IN. Feeling everything the two characters were feeling. Love their love!!!!!

Must read!. Loved it!

Tortue, too predictable, same story as the ones written before. I'm starting to see a pattern in her stories. The women are strong and hold the men together. The women are the reason the guys believe in love. The guys hold all the pain and are damaged and the women rescue them and heal them. The women get pregnant and the guy freaks out and leaves. Too much time passes and then reality sets in and the guy realizes his mistakes and wants to correct it after being gone. The women are innocent while the guys consume themselves in alcohol, drugs, and women. Why do guys need to drown themselves this way? It would be nice to read a story where time was not the issue, too many women were not the issue, and pregnancy was not a factor. I enjoy finding love come out of a broken man, but it's too cliche. Not all good stories come from a damage man. True everybody has faults and seek comfort in another persons faults and sometimes this is what draws people together, but a new story line would be refreshing. Too predictable.

5 Stars!. The title of this book is perfect. Aleena and Jared's story was quietly intense and beautiful. Their connection was palpable even when their pasts started getting the way. A.L. Jackson is able to weave a story that made me flip the pages yet wanted to stop and really absorb the words at the same time. Jared may rival Christian as my all time favorite A.L. Jackson BBF.

This book broke my heart in the most amazing way. I LOVED this book. NO....I LOVE this book. I am still in awe of the amazing Ms Jackson, and her ability to literally put you in the pages of this book. Jared is so lost and consumed by the demons of his past, that he can't see 5 ft in front of him. He is determined to live the rest of his life in the pain that he feels he deserves. Aly is the one constant in his life. Since day 1. (literally) She is able to see him. Not the shell of a man he has become, but the warm, loving guy she has always admired. The tricky part is making Jared open his eyes to what she knows him to be....before it is too late. This is a story of love....but more than that its about letting go and opening yourself up to love. It was full of passion, and sadness and lust...and it will leave you wanting more! Settle in folks, because this is an "all-nighter"!

Loved it. Great book

Love AL Jackson!. Another well-written book by Jackson. You fall in love with the characters and really feel Jared's pain. It is a little long winded in some places and I found myself just skimming. With that said, I still enjoyed reading it and look forward to the continued story this summer.

5 Jared Sized Stars!!. A.L Jackson has done it to my again!!! I fell in love with her when I read 'Take This Regret' series. I honestly didn't think she'd be able to out due herself. Well, I was so wrong! There are some authors that when a new book comes out, you don't need to know anything about the story, because you already know you're going to love it. A.L. Jackson is one of those authors for me!! I fell in love with 'Come To Me Quietly' from the very, very beginning. We learn that Jared is going back home. A place he hasn't been in years & we don't know why he ever left in the 1st place. He comes home to run into his childhood best friend Christopher. Christopher talks Jared into crashing at his apartment that he shares with his sister Aly. Jared knew moving in there wasn't a good idea. There was only 1 reason why it's not a good idea. That idea is called Aly. Aly on the other hand gets the call from her brother asking her if it's OK that Jared stay. She's shocked!! Jared has always been on her mind& in her heart. Now, he was in her apartment!!! The minute Aly & Jared see each other for the 1st time after all these years was just WOW!! The feelings were still there & neither one of them had any idea what to do next. The only Jared did know, was that he needed to stay away from Aly. What I love about this story is how it's told. The POV goes back & forth from Jared & Aly and also from there childhood. Which I loved!! I loved how we got to know exactly what they were thinking and when you were starting to ask questions. The author gave us a glimpse into the past. Over time Jared learned to let Aly over the 10 foot wall he's put up. Because, for some reason why he thinks he's damaged & doesn't deserve to be happy. Yet, we never know why! During the day they are good at staying apart. But, nighttime is another story. Every night when Christopher goes looking for girls. Jared's sneaking into Aly's room & they talk, laugh, cuddle & fall more and more in love. That's not too hard for them though. They have been in love with each other their whole lives. They literally spend weeks together. It's harder when Christopher is there. Because, he doesn't want his sister getting hurt. Jared isn't like any other character I've read. He really has had a hard, crappy life. He feels that he doesn't deserve to be happy. His body is covered in tattoos. But, every single one of them tell a story. His story. It's so hard bc he really does deserve to be happy. Aly is another one that deserves to be happy. She has shut her heart off when Jared left all those years ago. She always hoped & prayed he'd come back. You will not be disappointed. A.L Jackson will have you smiling one second & crying the next, My emotions were all over the place. All I wanted was Jared & Aly to get their happily ever after. They had so many obstacles that kept getting in the way. I am so glad I got to read this & can not wait to read the next part of their story!!

WOW!!!. I could not put this book down for the life of me. My review will do this book no justice! But the pain that you know is seeping from Jared can be felt reading this book! It's a must read
