Good. Not as good as thoughtless and reckless, but still a good book!

Interesting vampire twist.... Well I have to admit that I was a little weary in this story. I really had no idea what to expect when this came out. All I knew was it was a vampire story of some kind. This is definitely not a twilight love story. It was better! I loved Teren and how he was. This book did not have a lot of dialog but it did tell an excellent story that made you feel everything that Teren was going through as well as Emma. The story details really made it even better and when I closed my eyes I could envision myself right along with Teren and Emma.

Needs dialogue please!. I hate critiquing people's writing, but I feel like the author pretty much told the entire story using only the minimum amount of dialogue. Whatever happened to telling a story thru the characters actions and words instead of just telling us what happened. I really wanted to like this story, and thought it would be good based on the description. However I was let down. Good idea needs more character interaction. Overall disappointment.

So not disappointed!. I love the writing of S. C. Stephens. Every story is captivating. She excels at character development and never rushes a story. It's quality writing and editing. I enjoy the occasional chuckles built into the story, and the drama of the last quarter really had me feeling for the characters.

Can't wait for the rest of the series!. I read this on fictionpress and am soooo glad to have it back! Great story and I just love Teren :D I cannot wait for the sequel. Please don't make me wait too long!

Good, I think??. So I wasn't sure about this book with the whole vampire thing. Not usually my thing at all but I really like SC Stephens as an author sooo here we are. I actually really like the story and am about to read the next book but the reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I couldn't really relate to the 2 main characters. I wanted to love them both, like really wanted to love them but something about how this was written made it impossible to do so. Don't ask me why because I can't figure it out but usually with books I like, like this one, i fall in love with the characters and hate when it ends but this one I couldn't no matter how hard I tried love the characters. Maybe not enough info on them?? Weird??

Conversion. I wasn't sure about downloading this book, but SC Stephens being one of my fav authors I though I'd give it a go. She didn't disappoint! Great storyline, great characters, couldn't put it down! Can't wait for the rest of the series. Thanks!
