School Marm and Tycoon. This is a novella but it certainly doesn't lack in story line or in heat. Chelsea is a history teacher who lives and breathes what she teaches. She has trapped herself into believing life should just be simple and not cause any issues, whether it be in her work life or in her dating life. Jasper is a newbee to town come to make over her families historic train depot into a microbrewery. He is seeking something, always wanting to see something new, take on a new challenge. Are either of them really happy? Or do they need something to break their ruts? As in any small town there are preconceptions to over come and both Jasper and Chelsea have to break out of the shells they have made for themselves, but when they do the fire burns hot and temptations abound. Definitely recommend picking this one up and I can't wait till the next one in the series comes out... hoping it will be Jenny's story

Tempting Cowboy!!. Tempt Me, Cowboy is a great start to an exciting new series. Megan Crane starts this series off with a bang. Chelsea is a school teacher who is content to living a quiet life in her hometown in Montana until she meets Jasper. Jasper moved to Montana from Texas. They comes from completely different worlds. Jasper stirs feelings in Chelsea she didn't think possible. They have great chemistry that Crane brings to life. Crane captures the beauty of Montana. I can't wait to read more from this series and MontanaBorn. I highly recommend this series.

Tempt Me, Cowboy-tempting!. What a start to a new series! Tempt Me Cowboy by Megan Crane is the 1st book in The Copper Mountain Rodeo series. Having not read anything by Megan before I can honestly say that I am now a new fan. Megan's writing kept me very interested in what was going to happen in this book. The start of the book begins with a bang. The initial interaction between our couple, Jasper and Chelsea had me asking-how can these two people who are opposites possibly end up together? Jasper who moves to Marietta, Montana is a 35 yr. old man who has money and is very sure of himself(I would say he is cocky!)Jasper thinks all women are after him for his money. When Jasper first sees and meets Chelsea he thinks she is waiting for him and because of her conservative clothing and standst she is prissy and disapproving. To discourage her he tells her, she's not his type and he likes his women easy and sleazy! Do I have your interest yet, well purchase the book to see how Jasper's and Chelsea's relationship (which turns HOT) develops to a wonderful ending! You will not be disappointed! Megan is a very talented writer. There will be other books in this series by other wonderful authors. I also must tell you I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Trying to protect her heart, she tells herself that this is temporary and knows that she has to put an end to this affair and focus on convincing Jasper to do the right thing and turn the depot into a museum. But can she walk away from the passion that she feels towards him? And will Jasper succumb to her pleas for the depot? Tempt Me, Cowboy, the first book in The Copper Mountain Rodeo Series, is a breath of fresh air. I love that it’s set in a small town where the people are so close and that history is of great importance. I loved Chelsea’s character, her feisty attitude and passion for her family. I also fell in love with Jasper’s bad boy attitude and sexy cowboy style. I couldn't get enough of this book. I absolutely LOVED it. This book is a must read for any cowboy fan. I was tempted and know that you will be too!

Tempt Me, Cowboy by Megan Crane. Chelsea Crawford Collier has lived in Marietta Montana all her life. She lives a simple life with her mother and teaching high school history. Her big dream is making the old railway depot into a museum named after her family, one of the longest remaining families in Marietta. Jasper Flint, a self made millioniare from Texas, comes to town with his own dreams of making the depot into a microbrewery. They become more then friends pretty quick, but can they put their differences aside to create a trusting, long term relationship? They both come from totally different worlds and don't see eye to eye on the future of the depot. Lots of gossip in the town causes Chelsea to think hard about the fling they are having. What will she do? What will become of the depot? This was a sweet fast paced story which I really enjoyed.

Tempted and wanting more. Megan Crane’s short story Tempt Me, Cowboy (Copper Mountain Rodeo 1) was a wonderful read and a great escape from the reality of my life! The beginning of the book (chapters 1 and 2) is a little slow, but stick with it because in Chapter 3 the story grasps you and before you know it the book is over and leaves you wanting more. Chelsea Crawford Collier is very likable and easy to relate to, whether you are from a small town or not, and Jasper Flint - well - is every girl’s fantasy. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series!!

Tempt Me Cowboy, by Megan Crane. The is the first novel I have read by this author, but I enjoyed it so much that I will be buying more.

Her Momma wants the building to be a museum to celebrate the Crawford family so she tries to persuade him to preserve the town's history. He's not having it but he is intrigued by the feisty lady who challenges him. Their attraction is powerful. For once in her life Chelsea takes a chance and becomes involved with Jasper. She is filled with happiness but feels that their love won't last. Will she risk her heart? Can this cowboy tempt her with his love? This novella is so satisfying. I loved Chelsea. She is feisty and determined to find her HEA. Jasper is a caring, dynamic male who won't give up on their love. These two are so perfect together. Their romance warms your heart and makes you sigh with happiness. When he calls her Triple C, my heart melts. This is such a perfect story. It left me wanting more. Don't miss this passionate love story.

Tempting!!. Once I got into chapter 3 this book was amazing! It flowed so easily that I didn't want it to end! The main characters are classic opposites attract, and I believe that is what made the story. This was the first book I have read by the author but it wont be the last.

They have to decide if fiery passions is all they have, or can they find love and survive the give and take of a relationship? Jasper would have to put down roots, and Chelsea must learn to be her own person. Read it to find out if there's a "happily ever after" in Montana! This is the first in a series of books set in Montana, and it's sure to make you want to read the rest.

Megan Crane brings her characters to life with rich and spirited banter. Readers will fall in love with the lush scenery of the Copper mountains and will be inspired to return again to read book number two. Jasper Flint recently made the move to Marietta, Montana, from Dallas, Texas. At the age of thirty-five, he has retired and is ready to live a simple and quiet life, renovating his latest acquisition of an old railway depot. He isn’t prepared to be confronted by the feisty, headstrong woman who is waiting for him after his morning run. Jasper is used to women falling at his feet and he mistakenly believes that Chelsea Collier is there to proposition him. Chelsea is a prim and proper history teacher who wants to turn the railroad depot into a museum. She is certainly not interested in seducing the infuriating man standing before her. How dare he suggest such a thing! While Chelsea does her best to convince Jasper that the depot is part of her family history and therefore should be made into a local monument, sparks fly between the two. Can romance possibly be in the air for these two cantankerous adversaries? Until Chelsea walks into his life, Jasper is only interested in fast women who wear slinky little outfits and have teased hair. While he finds Chelsea’s style of dress to be prudish, he realizes that he is very interested in finding out what lies beneath those old fashioned clothes. Chelsea finds Jasper to be egotistical and rude at first. But she suddenly finds herself wanting to dress and act more her age. It is fun to watch her make positive changes and to become more confident under Jasper’s watchful eye. TEMPT ME COWBOY is a refreshing and fun tale full of sigh-worthy moments. Although short on words, this wonderful story packs a big punch, nevertheless. Megan Crane has a snarky quality to her voice that will produce a few chuckles. If you are looking for a fresh, amusing and quick read, you will be delighted with TEMPT ME, COWBOY!

Enjoyable, if implausible. I liked the premise of the story, but while the wording implies their relationship developed over a month or more, near the end you find out it's been less than two weeks.

Great Short Read!. Megan Crane has done it again! I love anything by this author, and this novella for Montana Born Books did not disappoint ! Tempt Me Cowboy was so enjoyable to read, immersing me into a place different than my own life! I don't want to give away the entire plot of this story, as you really need to read it yourself to really appreciate it. But good girl with a small town family heritage meets bad boy from the city....... mixed with Montana landscapes!! Loved it, and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to escape into a good book for a while!

Great Read!. This novella from Montanabornbooks is a wonderful story of true love winning out by Megan Crane. Chelsea is a local born and bred girl with a long family history in town. Jasper, finds the perfect home in Marietta and plans to open a brewery in the historic train depot. Sparks fly between the historian Chelsea and Jasper. A great, fast read. Wish it was a full length novel.

A Sizzling Read. Spontaneous combustion is what happens when you cross a jaded, swoon worthy and knows it kind of guy and a rule-following, history spouting, good girl……Well kind of. There were definitely sparks flying from the first encounter. I was smitten with these characters from page 1. I found Jasper and Chelsea to be very real and likeable. Megan Crane always wows me with her characters voice and in Tempt Me Cowboy, they were spot on. Even though this is a novella, Crane does an excellent job of giving us the complete story. You get a feel for where the characters have been and where they are going. Even though part of me wanted it to be longer (probably because I think I have a little crush on Jasper,) I actually believe it was just right! TMC is the first of 4 novellas (in the Copper Mountain Rodeo series)that are part of new group of fantastic authors called Montana Born Books. I know that I am looking forward reading more from them.

Excellent Short Read. Chelsea Collier wants nothing more than to save the old depot built by her railway baron ancestor and turn it into a museum--until it's sold out from under her! Jasper Flint made himself filthy rich in the Texas oil business by the age of 35. Now he wants a quieter life and building a microbrewery in Marietta, Montana is the perfect project. Neither one of them knows what to do with the passion that explodes between them! But Chelsea knows a man like Jasper will never stay in one place for too long. Can he convince her that this time, he means to stay? I really enjoyed the novella Tempt Me, Cowboy by Megan Crane. As with most novellas I would have definitely enjoyed more!! This is the classic bad boy meets good girl. I really enjoyed how the characters interacted with each other, the author nailed small town living, where nothing is private and the whole town is watching and judging every step you make. I recommend this for a quick afternoon fix of steamy romance! As long as you enjoy a little sex with your romance you won't be disappointed ^_^ This is on my keeper shelf and will be read more than once!

Enjoyable. First book in the Copper Mountain Rodeo series-Tempt Me, Cowboy by Megan Crane. A enjoyable, fun short story. Likable characters, great dialogue. Perfect title for this book. Looking forward to more books in this series. Would recommend it.

Wonderful story!. For anyone who has ever questioned whether it is better to just play it safe and do what everyone else expects of you, or to take risks and make yourself happy, this story is for you. Marietta, Montana is like any typical small town, everybody knows everybody and nothing stays secret for more than a couple of minutes. I really found Chelsea's character likable. She grew up in Marietta her whole life and never dreamed of leaving. She is a history teacher at the local school and dresses extremely conservatively. She spends her time volunteering and trying to keep her sometimes obsessive mother happy and do whatever it takes to keep the town gossip from being about her. Then when a stranger, Jasper, moves into the old depot that Chelsea's mother, and therefore Chelsea, wanted to turn into a museum to honor their family heritage, her world gets turned upside down. She is determined to convince Jasper that the depot should be a museum, rather than the microbrewery he was planning on using the building for. Jasper was also a very likable character. I wasn't sure how he would come across considering he is filthy rich and handsome. But he seemed happy to have finally found someone, Chelsea, who wasn't after him for his money. In fact, she wasn't after him at all. But he is the type of person who doesn't really care what other people think about him. But yet he doesn't take that strong self-image and let it go to his head. The story played out was wonderfully. The way Chelsea struggles with the ingrained small town mentality of trying to avoid gossip and balancing that with the feelings Jasper stirs inside of her and the dynamic with her mother was great. I really enjoyed how the love scenes were hot without being obscene, just the right amount of spice. I loved this book and I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the Copper Mountain Rodeo novellas. I was given an early copy of this novella by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Hot and Sweet. Chelsea is a zipped-up, conservative school teacher deeply entrenched in the small town she's always lived in. Her family legacy keeps her grounded and her mother is always there to make sure she remembers how deep her roots go. Enter Jasper, fresh in town from Dallas to shake things up. He's bought the depot that represents Chelsea's family history and intends to convert it into a microbrewery. How can two people so at odds find common ground? Through scorching chemistry and the bravery to break through walls. Ms. Crane creates a vivid picture of life in small-town Montana, both its challenges and its charms. The romance is hot but sweet, and the couple is the kind you root for until the end. Looking forward to the next Copper Mountain Rodeo story!

Loved it!. Chelsea is a history teacher who is afraid to step out of the comfort zone provided by her hometown, classroom & dowdy clothes. Jasper struck it big in oil & decided to favor small town life in his retirement by moving to rural Montana & opening a brewery. These opposites meet as a result of Jasper buying the historic building Chelsea has been working toward acquiring to turn into a museum of the town's history. When the small town girl & rich out-of-towner collide, sparks fly & the next thing you know there is a scandal about town because good old Chelsea finally let her hair down. I adored this short story, and found myself wishing it was longer when it was over. Likable characters, good dialogue, and a motorcycle riding cowboy with a delicious Texas drawl. I'd highly recommend this for a quick, fun read (especially if you enjoy a sweet & sexy man in cowboy boots).

My favorite part of the story is the following conversation between the two: " Do they get to decide who you are or do you?" "What's the other option?" she asked. "That's the fun one." He grinned. "You can be the woman who gets on the back of a bike of a man she met this morning , and lets whatever happens next, happen. No matter who's watching, even if they've know you since birth. " What do you think Triple C does? The only down side is the story truly captivated my heart and was too short!!!!

I was tempted, how about you?. Jasper is a very rich man, but has not found happiness while earning it. Chelsea is a schoolteacher in a small town where everyone knows her. When they meet the sparks fly. But Jasper likes them easy and sleazy and Chelsea is not. Jasper is drawn to her and decides to pursue her. Chelsea is so tired living the life the townsfolk think she should and decides to have an affair with Jasper. She knows he will leave eventually and decides to go for it anyway. She has a choice to make. Be who the town says she is or Be who she wants to be. Can she have an affair without involving her heart? I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to more in the series. This is my first Megan Crane book. Won't be my last :)
