Another hit!. They've done it again!! Good, interesting story with lots (LOTS) of hotness thrown in for good measure. This story didn't have the strong character development that the others have had. I may feel that way because I was disappointed that the POV was one sided. Other than some minor editing mistakes (can't wipe your brown with your hands toed behind your back) there is very little to find fault with. As always, the strong friendships, intelligent characters and witty dialogue kept me turning pages when I should have been doing other things. Looking forward to book 2 in the series!!

Not on par with the Beautiful... series. I tried to like this book as it's a new series beginning and I LOVED the Beautiful series, but this book was seriously myopic. The writers got trapped into figuring out their female lead's mind and future (she's Just out of college at 22/23) and they never fully fleshed out who the Woman was and settled for designing her future instead. Ansel was a full out mystery! I have no idea why he was in that frame of mind in Vegas, why he jumped to marry her, why he jumped to keep her, etc. Unfortunately, given the ending, leaving the male lead not-so-fleshed-out ruins the book. I can't figure out why this guy would be friends with Perry AT ALL, much less the rest, with the glimpse we got of Perry in the end and I don't know why he's so split personality. I never knew who was in control and if NO ONE is in control of these kind of sexual relationships it comes across as tasteless immaturity (there were way too many blow jobs). I will say I Totally appreciated how well these two authors fleshed out the "real life" of a love at first sight relationship, it was just a side effect they got to figure out their relationship and each other in Paris.

Same great writing.... ...very different story but I loved it!! The characters were interesting and the love story was sweet and dirty at the same time. Christina Lauren does it again!

Another winner!!!!!!!. I have to say that all of Christina's books have been a home-run but Sweet Filthy Boy was a grand slam!!!! It was the perfect balance of seduction, love and all of life's ups and downs that a lot of writers sometimes forget to write about. I loved Ansel from the beginning and Mia quickly pulled me in the story so I could experience all of the emotions with her! BRAVO !!! I can hardly wait for Harlow's story!!

Disappointed. After loving the Dirty Bastard series, I was happy to read this new series. But after about 4 chapters, I found myself skimming through the rest of the book. I just couldn't get into the characters as the other series. The characters were not as well developed, and plot line predictable. The other series was funny,sexy, smart, I read all of them twice. Found myself laughing out loud frequently. Disappointed!!!! Christina Lauren dropped the ball on this one, maybe churning out more for her publishers so fast didn't give her enough time to develop real true characters like before. I would rather wait a little longer for a much better book, it would be worth the wait.

Too Much. Mia and Ansel's story started out with such potential. Such juicy story lines started. But one Paris comes into play it gets mundane. Too much sex with basically no plot for it. Finally involving more characters the party at friends house gets the story rolling again. Now it's juicy and I can't put it down. The ending has me going ok. I loved all the other beautiful books. This was ok. Hopefully Harlow and Finn's story will be more involved with a story line involving the characters that make it juicy.

Great read. Just finished reading this book today. I'm a sucker for these kinds of stories. It was really hott in the beginning, but once in Paris it sizzled a little. There were a few sexy scenes but it was basically flat until the ending at the party. I wish it would have continued beyond them making up. BUT overall it was a good read especially if you loved the other Christina Lauren books.

Ahhmazing. I never write reviews but the book literally stole all the oxygen out of my lungs over and over again! It's a sweet and funny love story with just the right amount of angst and dirty to make you stay up ALL night reading. I might have sighed and teared up more than once in the 24 hours it took me to read this story So far this is my most favorite Christina Lauren novel of all. Everyone needs a little Ansel in their life!

4.5 Sweet, Filthy Stars!. I have read (and loved) Christina Lauren's Beautiful Bastard and I was hoping that Sweet Filthy Boy would live up to the great story, heat and characters that I fell in love with when I first discovered this dynamic duo of writers... and it did! While I am not the biggest fan of reading about characters in college (or fresh out of college) I made the exception for Christina Lauren and I am VERY glad I did! Sweet Filthy Boy starts with Mia (our main heroine) graduating college and having a last wild weekend in Vegas with her best girlfriends. As many of us know, What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas, or does it? Now even though the beginning of this story was predictable it was great reading and once the story really gets started when Mia and Ansel agree to a summer together in France I couldn't put this book down. The chemistry, humor, wit and emotion that Christina Lauren infuses their stories with is really special and kept me turning the pages well into the night. Sweet Filthy Boy kept me glued to each page and gave the experience of being in Paris, living through Mia's experiences in the city. I really enjoyed both of these characters. Mia was a bit rigid and was pushing herself into a mold her father expected of her not what her heart longed for. Watching her struggle to be who she was meant to be was inspiring and hard to read at time at the same time (the urge to shake the girl was strong at times). Ansel was the perfect balance to Mia. He was focused, had a plan and was both crazy hot, sweet and dirty (even though he could be a bit shy at times). Ansel makes me want to fly to France get my own sweet, filthy boy! Christina Lauren created a new series that will go far! The characters they created have great chemistry and are people I want to know more about! Wait! Don't worry this series while connected, each book is a individual story (with cross-over characters I hope!), no cliffhangers. Christina Lauren knows how to write a story that is fun, creative, HOT and emotional all rolled up into a fantastic story about two people who are going through life trying to find themselves but along the way they find each other too. If you are a fan of the Beautiful Bastard series, you will love getting out of the corporate world and going to France as we watch Ansel and Mia fall in love. If you have have never read a Christina Lauren book before you are in for a treat! Sweet Filthy Boy is like a modern day fairy-tale about two people who have instant chemistry and take the chance to see where the spark lead. I can't wait for the next book in this series, Christina Lauren books are auto-buy books for sure!

Not what I expected. I loved the Beautiful series! I completely fell in love with the characters, plot etc but Sweet Filthy Boy was such a waste of my time. The characters were not developed to their full potential and after you get past Vegas and into their summer together in France it's basically all Mia figuring out her next sexual fantasy with Ansel. Super disappointing.

Happy. This series makes me happy. I love the whole group, when they interact together and then their stories separately. Ansel is so playful and yet mature, smart, while Mia is cautious but grows into her own calmness while in Paris. Love them.

Loved it!. I was offered this audiobook as one of those first in a series deals. I heard about the book, but really hadn’t thought much about it either way. I am so glad I grabbed a copy; not only is it incredibly erotic, but the story is so extremely vivid with the imagery and details. Going to Paris is now on my bucket list. I loved listening to this story; I didn’t want to put it down and finished it in a few days. I am sure I was blushing while listening to this at work, yet I couldn’t help myself. Thank goodness for headphones! Let me just say Shayna Thibodeaux did a fantastic job in her narration! I have already purchased the second audiobook in the series and can’t wait to get started. I loved Sweet Filthy Boy and I am giving it 5 Boundless Stars!....Sara

The language of love and the city of love combined for a sweet and filthy ride.. This is Ansel and Mia's story. There are more books in this series but you get the complete story and conclusion of there romance in this installment. Hope you like France and French men because Ansel is hot and speaks French and lives in France. Hope you like sex with a stranger because once again that is where this story takes you. Overcoming the awkward strangeness of being more than a one night stand is very entertaining. Mia learns some very clever games and role playing to ease her unease for the strangeness. Wow! I never imaged this story would turn so sexual. It's not raunchy, in fact it's kind of enduring and educational. It's so descriptive, it's arousing. I can picture them in my mind as if I'm sitting in a chair watching them fornicate. I love the role playing. The dressing up to pretend and escape from oneself. To remove the fear of shyness. The story moves along at a very quick pace and you find yourself consumed by the story that at no point do you want to put the book down and enter into the real world. Ansel and Mia are very enjoyable and like able characters.

Amazing Contemporary Read!!. I loved the way this story was written. It was beautifully written. It also touched my heart as the character was a dancer like me, a shy personality like I have and who had a father like mine...loved the book!! Do give it a go as this surpasses a lot of other books I recently read that don't even compare! Great job Christina Lauren!! 👏😁

Disappointed. I have read All of their books and novellas. Loved most and liked the rest. I love Ansel. I like Mia. The writing is good and in ways better than before. But the storyline is thin. I wish some of the middle was pulled and more of the end. I want to know more of how they work this marriage out. I want to see their relationship grow. But now we are off to Harlow so I guess that won't happen. I feel like we barely got to know these two and we are done. I felt like I knew Bennett and Chloe, Max and Sara, Will and Hannah. I really hope we get more of Ansel and Mia cause I feel like ther is a lot more to their story.

Awesome book...cut off chapters. I loved this story. It feels different than others out there, and I appreciate that. However, this digital copy cut off mid sentence at the end of at least four chapters, including the END OF THE BOOK! That makes for an unsatisfactory experience. What a shame. I enjoy this author.

This charming story had me completely hooked. The authors skillfully incorporated elements of role-playing that added intensity to the narrative. The main characters had this beautiful and easygoing connection; it was truly remarkable how Christina Lauren made Ansel and Mia's chemistry leap off the pages. They managed to bring them to life with ease. It's no wonder why I was completely fascinated by Ansel, the sweetest, most charming Frenchman. He had a way with words that made my heart skip a beat. Ansel possessed a certain deliciousness that I simply couldn't resist, making him my ultimate book boyfriend. Overall, if you are looking for something spicy, hilarious, and romantic, look no further. This is tailor-made for you!

Sweet Filthy Boy. I've read all the Beautiful books and loved every one of them, but I was disappointed in this one 😏 It was hot and sexy, but the story line was boring, I had to push myself to finish it. The best part of the whole book was the last few chapters.

Great read!. This was the most enjoyable contemporary romance I've read in awhile. I totally fell in love with Ansel, even though French guys aren't my thing lol. Highly recommended this book if you are looking for a sweet and sexy read. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
