Great book!. This was a great read and very insightful ideas on self improvement. Recommend anyone looking to better themselves to read this.

The Truth. Great Book!

Extremely insightful. Heard about The Game. Never read it in college. Didn’t really need to if I’m being honest. I imagine it talks about treating women like people instead of objects and having fun. Coming out of a divorce I went rampant by my own standards. I needed validation to sooth the abandonment I felt after splitting with my ex-wife while I was deployed…met a girl at that tale end of my rampage who coincidentally had been going through something similar. Funny thing is, we met eachother in high school and talked briefly at a party but nothing transpired. Just followed and kept up with eachother on social media for almost ten years before getting together. She’s everything I ever wanted. But like the author, I make up reasons to discard when feelings start getting real out of fear and enmeshment. I found myself asking what’s wrong with me? I must be broken because looking back, in one way or the other I’ve sabotaged every relationship I’ve ever been in… I say what I want, I get it, get scared about the attachment, then treat them horrible until they leave because I don’t want to be the one to break up. It was a never ending cycle. This book opened my eyes to a major blind spot. It’s insightful and a great story. There’s some psychology in there if you’re into that (I am) I feel like it made me a better man. Sounds kinda corny but it’s true.

This book will save my life. Neil is a brilliant writer and I cannot say enough about this book. At this point I am exactly where Neil starts this book on his journey. If you are a guy or a gal who thinks the grass is greener, then this book is a must read. Ive been blaming people, family, friends, teachers all of my life for things that I needed to fix internally. Ive been a sex addict for half of my life and it has left me with nothing to show for it. I have two failed marriages and Im lonely. After reading this book many of the questions I had in my head about monogamy and non monogamy have been answered and its time for me to grow up. Thank you Neil for this gift!
