A very different writer copied by many, well by few.. I have probably read this book 20 or 25 times over the years since it came out and it is still fresh and enjoyable every time. Foster's blend of originality, believable character types and sheer absurdity make for books that not only keep you wishing for more, they also make for many moments where you'll literally laugh out loud. One of the true masters of sci-fi and fantasy. It would be fantastic if iTunes had a bigger selection of his work and lower prices on older titles. I have many titles in paperback and hardcover but as I have gotten older I have come to appreciate being able to change type size but it is annoying to pay more then the original price of many novels to buy an e copy.
