A partir de ahí, el lector se da cuenta de que el verdadero tema de la novela es la amistad.[...] Nos ofrece una mezcla del mundo tecnológico con el sobrenatural, aventuras urbanas estilo Matrix o escenarios que rememoran la estética de Mad Max (incluyendo carreras de vehículos).[...] En resumen: en Futuro azul encontraremos humor, aventuras y elementos ciberpunk combinados en una novela juvenil que puede gustar a un público de cualquier edad.»
