At times I get the feeling he finds some escape through the madness as his reality of the last several thousand years has been so horrific. This deep abyss of madness was caused by a witch who had not only enslaved vail, but had him turn violently against his own kind and those he loved. Felicity Heaton's heart breaking and mesmerizing story of Vail, the third in the Eternal Mates Series has been long awaited by many fans, including myself. The hypnotic world she has built up in this series (also a part of the Vampire Erotic Series realm), is further expanded to include the fifth realm. The king of this world is at war with Loren (elf Prince and Vail's brother) and Thorn (DemonKing), from the first two books in the series. The new king of the 5th realm seeks to use Vail against his brother and holds him hostage in his dungeon. Here Vail continues to vacillate between madness and sanity, leaving most of the other inhabitants and prisoners wanting to keep their distance. Rosalind is a witch who we were introduced to in the previous books and is captured in Book 2. Also a prisoner of the 5th realm Rosalind is forced to use her powers as a healer for the king's warriors. She is terribly abused and tortured by her captors. Felicity's clever plot has Rosalind sent in to heal Vail, whose very existence holds a major hatred of witches. How confusing for a mad elf Prince who finds himself recognizing the pretty witch as his "Kiera", his fated mate (I love that word). I really love Rosalind, she has held onto her sanity and strong sense of self, as well as a bit of sassiness, despite her dire situation. Her major fear is a prophesy that predicts she will die shortly after meeting an Elven Prince. She is an admirable and likable heroine who in book two played a major role in helping Loren and Thorne remove barriers preventing transportation in and out of the realms. Vail and Rosalind must escape and embark on a journey that will prove to be both mentally and physically challenging. Much of the story is told through Vail's inner dialogue as we ride his roller coaster of sanity to madness. Still a strong warrior finding a need to protect Rosalind, he has to mend his mind and soul, fight the urge to not harm her when the madness takes over, and allow her "in". At times his bouts between clarity and madness are exasperating but I truly believe that is the effect the author was aiming for. It makes his road to healing and growing ability to love Rosalind and mend his fences with his brother, even sweeter. This story is definitely a bit darker than the first two, but I figured that would be the case knowing Vail's past. He has been an intriguing character since the first book and brings out the let's heal this bad tortured soul in all us heroines. I did enjoy the interaction of the many main and secondary characters in the first two books. In Rogue Prince, Vail and Rosalind make up the majority of the book. Their love and the romance takes a bit longer to come to fruition as there is so much for them to overcome, and it is all worth the build up. So by healing Vail, of course Rosalind is also heals herself. Along with Rosalind I believe the readers also grow to love Vail and I swooned a bit every time he calls her his "Wild Rose". As the many characters in this series have stories and timelines that interconnect and are introduced in a definite order, I highly recommend reading the books in order. Another awesome, amazing book by Felicity Heaton that combines all the wonderful, heartbreaking, passionate, romantic, exciting, suspenseful elements that will hypnotize and capture us once again.

Temptation Overload!. WOW! An addicting Paranormal Romance. This is book 3 in the Eternal Mates Series. What is it with these books that Felicity Heaton writes? She draws you in and grabs your Heart..... And Soul and doesn't let go! This was another unputdownable book and I am truly loving this series, there's a feast of Species and who knew Elves could be so delectably Yummy! I try to never give away too much of the story because I know other Reviewers will give a little extra but what I will say about his book is the main characters are Vail an Elf Prince (A broken "Mad" Elf Prince) and Rosiland a Witch (A good Witch with some issues) they both have a long journey ahead of them with lots of complications along the way there's plenty of Action, Lingering looks, Smouldering Smexyness a really lovely Romance that leaves you panting for more! The Writer gives so much detail towards the characters and their feelings and Emotions, they are so engaging and the Fight/ Battle scenes are totally gripping and have you on the end of your seat! I so love that this Author brings out my Emotions too it's very rare that a book makes me cry but I have to admit it I did Sob a little towards the end. Congratulations Felicity Heaton, another engaging book. Looking forward to the next unputdownable book in this exciting series and as usual it's seems with this Author I just had to give it 5 Stars! I did receive an ARC of this book for a honest Review and even though I had the ARC I still had to buy this book because I loved it so much.

Fantastic!. *I was offered an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. All opinions stated are my own* I have read both books in Ms Heaton's Eternal Mates Series so far and loved them. I've been super looking forward to this one because I completely fell for Vail from his first mention in the series. I've been anxiously awaiting his story. This book did not disappoint. The story follows on from the end of Claimed by a Demon King. Vail and our heroine Rosalind have both been captured by demons of the fifth realm. Rosalind is a witch and is sent to heal Vail. They both have very good reasons for disliking this arrangement. They are mutually distrustful of one another and it makes for a bumpy start to say the least. Rosalind is a great character. She's feisty and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She's brave but honourable and compassionate. She also has her own insecurities. She is the perfect match for Vail. Vail is.....well he's complicated to put it mildly. He's had an awful past and my heart breaks for all he's been through. There are references in the previous books to his "madness" and a lot of his actions come across as insane but when you get to know him you understand the reasons behind his choices and his reactions to things. I love that even a elf prince many thousands of years old can have insecurities and emotions you can connect with. I loved reading his and Rosalind's journey and it was wonderful to see him healing throughout the book. As expected from Ms Heaton there is plenty of action, high emotion and romance. Her writing is flawless as always. I love the way she makes you really care for her characters and their stories. I recommend reading the first two books in the series first as it adds so much more to this story. I loved every single second of this book and my heart was in pieces by the end. I actually threw a bit of a fit because I didn't want it to end. I'm even more in love with Vail now. Highly recommended! :)

Fantastic Read. I was truly taken by this story, I love it that you get to know the characters more in each book. This particular book had me longing to read and read and not want to put it down, wanting to know the outcome with each chapter sooner rather than later. Loving this series and downloading the next one this very minute.

Absolutely astounding rendering you speechless at the brilliance of this third book. As a female we all want our happily ever after, and I am scarred from my past deeply. This third book was explosive, dangerous and edgy but had you hoping and cheering for Vail x the darkness in him is in us, and has given readers hope. He suffered on such a deeply broken level that he couldn’t function and this book so far has showed us what love can do when it conquers. This is one of the best books that I have ever read, the sec scenes were too dramatic I don’t read books that are so sexually graphic and skipped it, but I’ve read some really good books in my life and this book has to be in my top 3 x I can’t wait to read the rest as they get better and better. Astounding work that has you so engrossed that you become one with the storey and characters, has you feel each emotion on a profound level that evens out. Astounding read.

I've fallen hard for this series!!. Tempted by a Rogue Prince is the third book in the Eternal Mates series from Felicity Heaton - it tells the story of the dark Elf Prince Vail and Rosalind, who's a witch. The first 2 books were really great reads and I have fallen hard for this series and it's characters. I've been looking forward to Vail's book since we first encountered him in Kissed by a Dark Prince (his brother Loren's story) Vail is a very different animal from his brother, with a haunted past and many many issues, he is a broken, lost and damaged soul (just the type of hero that I want to read about). Felicity didn't disappoint in telling us this pairs tale, I LOVED IT.... It has a different pace, very different heat and passion but jeez, it all worked beautifully!!!! After reading TBARP I am an even bigger Vail fan and I love Rosalind... She's such a brave, caring but spunky wee thing!!!! Action packed, emotionally engaging, heart wrenching with a fantastic plot and wonderful characters, Felicity has given us a series that is outstanding and I can't wait to see what happens next in the Realms.... If you haven't read any of the EM books yet, this is a definite must read that won't disappoint. If you are already familiar with the Eternal Mates series you'll be delighted with Vail's story!

Wowzers!!!. I really love this book, couldn't put it down!

Amazing series by my favourite independent author. To start I have to say Felicity Heaton is an amazing author! I've read everything she's written to date and wait anxiously for anything new that she releases. That being said her "Eternal Mates" series is fabulous! Her characters are all so different but all amazing. If you are a lover of Elves, Shifters, Vampires, Fae, Dragons, Witches, Angels, Demons and more these books will be right up your alley. Diverse intense story lines will keep you enthralled and oh yes the sex scenes? Well they will make it very difficult for you to put these books down. And although there are a lot of books in this series with more to come (many I hope) the low cost makes them quite affordable and well worth buying. Books that I have read many times over and never tire of them.
