This is awesome!!😃😀😄😁😆☺️😊. Okay, when I was scrolling through, I saw a lot of bad reviews, and I just didn’t get it. This is one of my favorite books ever, so don’t go hating it. IT IS AWESOME!!! Got it? It is eventful and I love the appearance of Frey. And I love how with Thor, they took something people know, and made it different. My favorite characters were definitely Samirah and Hearth! I loved this and it was hilarious from the chapter names (“Good Morning you’re going to die” anyone?) and I loved how the began it with something hilarious (Yeah I know, you’re gonna read about how I die in agony, and you’re gonna be like “Wow Magnus! That sounds cool! Can I die in agony too?”) Overall, this is Rick Riordan’s funniest book (By far) and I LOOOOVE it, so read it!

Very good. Magnus Chase is one of my favorite characters after this book he is simply so relatable. This book was refreshing of course I LOVE Percy but this one was a nice change of pace and I liked the story.Rick has done it again.

OMGSH ITS HERE ITS FINALLY HERE. I am a long time fan of Rick Riordan books. I loved the last book of the heroes of Olympus and I can't wait to read this one I'm so excited. I really hope they bring back Leo and Calypso. And I hope the gang find out that he isn't dead anymore

This is amazing. I love Magnus! He is so funny and it’s really awesome to see him grow through the book! Also, I love how Percy survived 3 series and Magnus just dies in the first couple of chapters

It’s good, but too ridiculous. I have a real life copy of the books, and let me just say that the first book is brilliant, but too ridiculous the characters are.

Written poorly. I was looking forward to a fun and engrossing fantasy story, only to be met with a writing style that is clearly aimed at children. At least I hope that’s the intention. I didn’t realize I could dislike a book based solely on writing style until I started this one up. In fact, I wanted to like it so much, I gave it until I was over 200 pages in. The story is decent, but the way in which it’s told is not. It’s written in a way that’s both unbelievable (the characters are truly ridiculous), and leaves you distracted by their actions, words, and thoughts. In other words, if you enjoy a well-written story with characters that behave within the realm of reasonable, this author is not for you. And I mean behave in a way that’s believable in situations that are not. Quite literally, the characters are so shallow and trite, I ended up discarding the book because I didn’t care any longer. Perhaps, and I say this only because I’m digging deep here, if you’re young, or like simply-written, less-developed storytelling, you might find this good? Based on the majority of reviews, I’m assuming that’s the case.

Rick Riordan is the best in the ENTIRE world!. Read HIS books! I have read all of Rick Riordan's books and I love each and every one of them. I have read some of them multiple times. Rick, in my opinion, is better than any other book series, including Harry Potter. Rick Riordan has his infamous cliff hangers and all the action!

Great Book and Series. This another great book and series along with the Percy Jackson series! I always enjoy these books!

All His demigod books. I just want to say that these are the best books I’ve growing up with I will always love them and I have an entire shelf dedicated to all his books.If you’re looking for action, adventure , drama ,and romance with historical fiction based on more modern times these are the books for you . How many pages?. This might just be my tablet but when you look in the description it says 479 pages but when I’m reading in the the book it say like 830 -something but the book is really good

Holy Valhalla. Omg! When I first read this I’m like ‘wait did you just kill him in the first two seconds of the book?’ But no I was wrong. I love this series I’m currently on the third. And I must say thank you Uncle Rick.

Really Good Start. 4. I loved this new world and it is different yet similar enough from Riordan’s other books for fans to like it.

A powerful masterwork. Riordan does a phenomenal job at showcasing the story in an original format, not only creating a great story, but imparting a lot of mythological knowledge. These books are what children in schools should be reading to learn about mythology. This book engages the characters in a lighthearted and lovable way, making you truly empathize and get caught up in the story. I look forward to it’s sequel.

AWESOME. I love this book and I love uncle Rick, Rick has inspired me to learn more about Greek mythology and Roman mythology and Egyptian mythology. I am addicted to all of his book series I just love all of this!

Absolutely Amazing.. I read the sampler for this book and I absolutely LOVED it! I won’t buy it on this app, but I will in the real world! ❤️ Thank you for making a wonderful book for our world! The book includes humor, mild language, and it is a story about a poor, homeless child’s death. It’s about how Magnus died. It was honestly kind of heart touching for me. Norse mythology with a twist....political correctness.. Rick Riordan panders to the PC crowd in his latest book. A book that has the ease of Riordans writing with a strong under current of everything the PC culture is trying to cram down our throats but in a format that your children can digest and have worm its way into their impressionable little minds. I read all of the books before I give them to my grandchildren and after how much my grandchildren and myself enjoyed the other series I am sad to say that this one is not making it to the bookshelves of any of my grandchildren.

Five star to magnus. I have read every book and this one is by far my favorite.As I forged on through this wonderful tale I realized many things are historically accurate.You will be surprised by the many twists in the story as Magnus explores the nine worlds.

Iv always loved rick rorodis if you habent read any of his other books then do it now the percy jackson series the trials of Apollo series this series the red pyramid series (the Egyptian books were always my least favret) the lost hero series and recently he prasid s book called the storm runner its also about gods and really good then theres his other short stories that are ok so yea just read all his books!

I also watched the Marvel movie, Thor, and it had a lot of Norse god stuff in it so it was funny to find the connection. I also read a book called the Blackwell Pages (Book 1: Loki’s Wolves, Book 2: Odin’s Ravens, Book 3: Thor’s Serpents) and it also had Norse god stuff..... !! It’s always fun to make book connections!

Perfect!. This is definitely my most favorite book series of all time. All the characters are all very interesting and unique and the diversity is mind-blowing! There are all sorts of different races, religions, and abilities and all of them are done so respectfully without the use of stereotypes or assumptions. (Other orientations come in later books too, which is great!) Poorly known identities are politely explained by the characters themselves, ensuring no stereotypes persist. It’s amazing and I’ve never seen anything like it!

Good but not as good as heroes of Olympus. This book was very good maybe it's just because I like Greek and Roman gods better but I didn't enjoy this book as much as the Greek or Roman ones and I hope to see a Greek Roman and Norse series after this one is done. (Sorry for run on sentences I'm a bit silly)

SO EXCITEDDDDD. This is an amaaaaaaazing book!!!!!! Well...I haven't read it yet, but if you are a reader in the year 2014, and HAVENT read percy jackson...the author is the god of writing. So therefore, anything he writes is automatically amazing. :D
