Not bad at all. This wasn't a bad book, wasn't a very good read for me though. I really wanted to like it because it's a ready made series with most of the books already released so no waiting months for the next book to come out. Problem was that I had to make myself read it until the end. I had to force myself to keep coming back to it just so I could get it over with. It sounds worse than it is, like I said it wasn't horrible I just didn't like it.

SO Good. Couldn't put it down!!!!!!!! Great story and I CAN'T wait for the next book!!!!!

INTENSE but ROMANTIC. I LOVE this story. I don’t like the crime stuff but the intensity of being forced to be in that world and not feeling like there is a way out was really interesting. I like it because they made their own “reality” in each other. Can’t wait to hear more about Callie and Teague. HOT HOT HOT! Waiting anxiously for the next book.

Very well written!. This is the first book in the O'Malley's series and it features Teague O'Mally and Calista Sheridan. What a tangled web we weave. One incident sets off a whole slew of problems. This is a fabulous, well thought out story line. So many threads intersecting and this fantastic author keeps it all sorted out. At every point in this Boston mob story, you know what's happening to every character. I'm so excited to read more of this amazing series.

Review: The O'Malley's 1: The Marriage Contract. The Marriage Contract by Katee Robert is the first book in her new Series The O'Malley's. It is about mob families in Boston and it was a fantastic read. Gritty, steamy, fraught with danger, immersed in passion, and just an all-around great read. Teague O'Malley is being married off to Callista Sheridan in an effort to create an alliance between their two families. Never mind that she was just supposed to marry the now dead heir to the Halloran family and that this new alliance that cuts the Hallorans out will incite a war. Callie and Teague agree before they have even met - it is their place to help the family and this is their way. When they do meet, sparks fly. Neither one expects it and both are surprised. Callie is still dealing with her dark secret and is resistant to Teague despite her inner most desires but Teague is thoroughly smitten from the first moment he lays his lips on her. I cannot wait for book 2, The Wedding Pact to see what happens with Carrigan and James.

Finally!!!. Read this, you'll enjoy reading a book with NO misspelled words, grammatically corrected sentence structure. And a romance that would literally blow you away.
