Im just happy to see a suspense book well done!. The build up of Kim Stone is amazing and the story line is that of a thriller series on tv. Angela Marsons is one of the best. She writes in a way that keeps our engagement responding to her characters actions and helps with the suspense when reading about the next page of drama. Please keep writing! Also, thank you for creating Kim Stone. I’m continuing on to book 4 of her series and appreciating her more and more as I read through her work!

Evil Games by Angela Marsons. Ms Marsons’ books just keep getting more intense, more exciting & the plots more complex as I read her DI Kim Stone mystery/thrillers. Evil Games has a creepy psychiatrist doing all sorts of mind bending games with her patients & then she discovers Kim’s history & another twist in the story begins! This book is action packed with so many twists & turns & edge of your seat intense drama that you won’t want to put it down. Excellent read. This is the second book I have read in the series. I loved the debut novel and this was even better. My only criticism was that it ended too soon! I am already looking forward to seeing what is next for Kim

Brilliant book series. Loved this book & all the books that followed.

A top class read.. Up alongside more established authors, Angela holds her own. The complex and convoluted plot is populated with all too human characters, not least Kim, whose own desperate past makes her vulnerable to attack from one who seeks to harm her. The background of the flawed hero is further fleshed out and has her heading towards parallel individuals like Logan McRae and, dare we whisper it, Rebus himself. I like these books and I can't wait to read the next in the series - what more can you say?

Evil Games.. High praise for a truly excellent read. Gripping beyond words, too clichéd for a page turner remark. Well plotted, believable characters , fast paced and menacing beyond words. Highly recommended, down load and enjoy.

Recommended. This is another easy read from this writer. There are a couple of crimes to be solved by the team, the major one involving a cat and mouse game between Kim Stone and the person that only she suspects of being involved. This made the story a bit different to the normal police crime books. The outcomes were nothing startling and towards the end there was something - to say what would spoil the plot for others - that left me questioning whether or not things would have happened as they did, but it was nevertheless an enjoyable book and I would still give it 5*.

Silent scream : evil games. Really really enjoyed silent scream I like real like crime and as upsetting as is child crime with mystery so when finished I read evil games which was good but silent scream was better of 2 but great books for a up coming author still really good read

Evil Games. Another great book, found it not as good as Silent scream but the building of the character and the storyline was nonetheless good. Can't wait for the next Kim Stone adventure.

Evil Games. The second instalment of D.I. Kim Stone follows nicely on from the first. A great page turner. I will be downloading the third book straight after I've written this review. Highly recommended.

Mrs. Really enjoyed this book and Silent Scream before it. The characters keep you hooked and I particularly like the way that amongst the dark characters and their evil acts there are acts of kindness by other characters that remind you that the human race isn't so bad after all. Really looking forward to the next instalment.

I have read two Kim Stone novels by Angela Marstons - she has an extraordinary talent, and has created a fascinating character with a gritty and intriguing back story, but which does not interfere with the police procedural element of the story. I am only sorry she cannot write as fast as I can read !

Kim Stone Detective.. Brilliant could not put this book down. All these books are just so enthralling. Kim Stone is my heroine.

Excellent read. I am so glad I stumbled across the two books in the Kim Stone series. Both excellent books and well written, I had to keep reading. Kim Stone is a great character and so are her team. I can't wait for the next book.

Silent Scream. Excellent I found it really hard to put this book down.I would definitely recommend it and can't wait for the next Kim Stone book.

Angie Marsons does it again. Bang! Kim Stone is back, banging up a father abusing his two young daughters! Horrible man! The Dunn case seems to be all wrapped up but Stone has a niggle and her niggles are never wrong. Then we move on to a therapist and her patient. The minute Alex Thorne starts the visualisation exercise with her patient, I knew she was up to no good.... But how far will she go?? The patient's actions result in Stone investigating and she knows there is something not quite right (those niggles again).... Thorne is an evil woman playing her own personal games with the vulnerable and tries, as the book goes on, to manipulate Stone....but has she met her match in our heroine?! The book continues with the Dunn case bubbling in the background .... Can Stone and the team rid society of some horrible people?! I love the banter between Stone and Bryant, it's just the way I imagine it to be in a real police team. Angie Marsons hasn't disappointed at all with the follow up to Silent Scream! Bring on the next 6 episodes (please let there be more after that)!! I'm definitely a fan! Brilliant. Evil Games was purchased as soon as I finished Silent Scream. I read the second Kim Stone novel in a few hours as I could not wait to reach the conclusion. I have already purchased the next two novels in the series and preordered the fifth. Congratulations Angela Marsons on your brilliant writing..

Interesting story. This book was also a bit slow starting off. Picked up the pace and the storyline was good. It was good to see some interaction with work colleagues

Fantastic read. I am a prolific reader, this is the second book of Angela Marsden that I've read and I am really impressed. The book was a fantastic page turner, and the quality of the writing was brilliant. This is definitely an author to watch out for. I am also really enjoying the character of Kim Stone, I am looking forward to seeing how she evolves
