A Modern Day Fairytale. "I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily reviewed this book and this is my honest review." I really enjoyed this modern day fairytale by Nikki Lynn Barrett. Queen of My Heart is the first book in the Life Won't Wait series. It is a heartwarming tale of two utterly damaged souls brought together by their love of music. Quinn, a fed up actress trying to make it in the music industry and Tucker, the megastar heartthrob country singer form a special relationship that is meant to benefit them both. Can Quinn and Tucker put aside their past hurt and build a real future together? You will need to read this truly inspiring romantic story to find out. The author has not only gracefully written about sensitive subjects but has also written such amazing characters that I felt a connection too. I found myself cheering this couple on and hoping they would find their "Happily Ever After". I am looking forward to continuing this journey by reading the next book in this series.

The reader will be exposed to people, places, situations, emotions and ideas to keep living productive lives. Quinn Winter left her acting career to start a new life in music. Her family used her acting talent starting at age 9 to keep her dysfunctional family financially afloat. Now Quinn is 23 and ready to better herself. Tucker McGinnis is a singing star after winning a reality show. He has changed his life and his sisters but now the past is haunting him. He needs to bury the past to become productive again. He meets Quinn and takes her under his wing to teach her the music business. When Quinn’s sister is arrested for drugs, her young niece is put into foster care. To get custody of Quinn’s niece, Tucker proposes a marriage of connivence between them for a year. Powerful, realistic with palpable energy combined with talented writing and with well fleshed out, complex, interesting characters . A Highly Recommended Read!!!
