Dragged. This dragged a lot. Needed editing. It is too slow. I love to read and a book about readers should be one of my faves, but it’s not.
I just could’ve saved my money…. There have been very few times in my life I have read a third of a book and just quit. This was one of those times. My reasons were not that complicated. The characters fell flat. The plot seemed to drag on so slowly that there was no way to anticipate what was happening next. I’ve never read any of this writer’s work before and I cannot understand the rave reviews, if this dud was any example.
Dreamy. At first I thought this book might be too slow- but as the characters gathered and the personalities were defined- I fell in love with them all. A book for the “Happy Ending” section!
Enjoyed it!. This was an relaxing book for a rainy day. I nearly read it straight through. Good characters in a quiet story that just lets things play out and still changes everyone.
