definitely worth re-reading!. I fell in love with this book the first time i read through it. After a while i ran through it again and am now reading it a second time! It really pulls you into the story and at times I feel like Red as silly as that sounds. I loved every single character. It's truly a very romantic story but also has just the right amount of spice, as I've heard others say.

It's written like a High School girl wrote it. Complete with "liar, liar, pants on fire". Homeless girl and rich boy. Both gorgeous. So cliché and predictable it's boring. What's with all the good reviews?

Addicting. I love the characters and the plot. I didn’t like Veronica very much because I feel like she should be more humble towards Caleb. I understand she’s broken but poor Caleb. What more can you ask for?

Chasing Red. I've read this book on WattPad and it's by far one of the best books I've ever read. Some characters pushed my buttons but I pushed myself through this book. I feel like it was as much of an emotional rollercoaster for me as it was for the characters. Isabelle has made my standards so high for guys that it will be quite some time until I have a boyfriend. 😂 I highly recommend this book, but not for children, probably around 13 or 14 and up.

A MUST READ. I read Chasing Red on Wattpad back in 2015 (Which I continued reading as the chapters were being uploaded going into 2016,) and fell totally in love with it. When I found out Isabelle was publishing it, I squealed and danced around my house. Veronica and Caleb’s love story has completely changed my idea of life and love. This book takes you on an emotional roller coaster that you will not want to end, and it’s sure to bring tears to your eyes and bright smiles to your face. It will bring laughter, the desire to want the love they had for each other, and just overall happiness. This book has taken the hearts of many people, including mine. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a cute love story that will leave them wanting more and more. Pancakes?

A++. I’ve read this book so many times on Wattpad and every single time my heartstrings get pulled so hard I think I might die!! I’m so happy for the author and her accomplishments in writing and I hope to see more of her writing!

Chasing Red; Not For Everyone. ‘Chasing Red’ is a stunning story, though I do have criticism in a few very important areas. Firstly, Caleb, doesn’t really have much character development. I’d suspect that is because he doesn’t have flaws. He’s basically perfect. Though, the same with Veronica, or Red, as Caleb dubs her. Secondly, the plot was very predictable. By the start of the story, you can already expect the main characters to end up together, there was no one intercepting, other than Beatrice-Rose, the best friend. You could also just read this for free on Wattpad, unless you wanted to support the author. Otherwise, with just the tiniest amount of tweaking and editing, this story would be a five star.

Love. One of the best books I’ve ever read

Sooo good. I read it on wattpad it was incredible. Literally took my breath away I’m impressed I’m usually picky about my books but as soon as I started reading this I couldn’t stop I NEED a Caleb lol

Still Stunning. I first read this book when it was published on Wattpad, and now have reread it 3 times. I simply cannot get enough of the relatable and palpable emotions of the characters. The imagination of the author immerses the reader so completely they are side by side with the characters. A quick read with a thick plot that demands the reader’s attention. The duo of works in a whole are more than worth the read.

Gonna buy it anyway. I read this for free on a writing website and it was an amazing book. Still my favorite. Therefore, I'm gonna buy it to support the author :)

This is such an exellent read. This was the first books that I had read on wattpad, and it was so captivating and I rember having to wait for isabelle to publish the next chapter because it was such an amazing book to read. The book is beutifuly written and every moment is a new twist. It makes your heart swell and breaks it, and I loved every secound of it. And I think that I might love Caleb more then Veronica does. I can’t wait till she writes more and I greatly encourge you to read this book.

Awesome. The book is just amazing, I don’t know what else to say about it. It has a great plot line, about 2 people with their differences and their backgrounds. More people should read this and find out more that’s happening. It’s just simply spectacular!

Hooked!. Chasing Red is a college romance setting where the rich boy, Caleb falls for the poor girl Veronica. I had some adjusting to do with this book because the characters behaved a bit juvenile for my tastes, but then I reckon it's typical behavior of college kids. I didn't think this was going to be the story for me, but the more I read, the more Caleb drew me in. I'm such a sucker for a hero that only sees the heroine and that is what Caleb brings to this story. The way he is so gone for her hooked and reeled me in. Caleb, the rich kid who can have any girl he wants falls fast and hard for Veronica, Red as he calls her. He's relentless in his pursuit of her but she is not wiling to fall for his playboy ways. She doesn't realize she's a game changer for him. There is a lot of pushing away by "Red" in this story but Caleb sure makes up for that with his constant charm trying to win her over. There is also other women/men drama. We got the conniving other woman who wants Caleb all to herself and is willing to do anything to get him and then we have the guy who's part of Caleb's crew but secretly resents that he is rich and likes to stir trouble. Typically, I don't go for these types of books, but I got to admit the author sucked me in. This ended on a cliffhanger and I need to see where the author takes this story. proves, yet again to me, why every book is not for every reader.. I’ve not been reading many new adult titles of late, mostly because the drama and immaturity brings more drama to my life, in a time when I really don’t need it. But, after hearing about this title and the buzz from the wattpad release, when it was published with Sourcebooks, I decided to take a chance. Firstly, you need to know that this is the first half of the story, and there is a cliffhanger. No big deal, if you are aware, but that may affect your decision as the conclusion isn’t available until November. Now, this is a new adult romance, so the characters are immature and prone to a ton of back and forth from their issues, so if you want a more mature approach to a romance, it won’ be here. But, I digress…… Veronica is spoilt, self-centered, snarky, suspicious and difficult. Even with someone who is trying to be helpful, she’s always looking for a catch. Sure, there are issues in her past that make much of this understandable, but truly, she needed to approach life and situations a bit more openly. She was also really guarded with readers, which meant she wasn’t even close to gaining empathy: in fact, I spent most of her page time looking for something to redeem her. Then we have Caleb: also in his own world where things come easily and quickly, where he just expects things to be good. Sure, that’s not a bad way to live BUT he takes it to an extreme, and contradicts his own approach to the people in his life constantly. He’s reacting to Veronica’s inability to trust with his own issues – and it comes out to two people second guessing one another’s motives. It sounds difficult to follow because it was – or rather, the interest that I would have had with some character growth and development didn’t exist – Veronica and Caleb arrived, got together amidst overly frequent bouts of drama and questions, and left – neither appearing to have incorporated any lessons learned from their experience, that may help them in future. What I never do, and I did frequently, was look for ‘how many pages left’, as this experience was painful and proves, yet again to me, why every book is not for every reader. So proud to have been with this book from the beginning, ever since it had a few hundred reads on Wattpad. It is timeless and a story I come back to again and again.
