One day read!. This book was a definite “page turner,” for sure! I could not put it down!!! Now, I see there is a sequel! Whoo Hoo!!

Boss. Ridiculous to write so so many sentences that just.......... See what I mean? It ruined the story!

Amazingly captivating. This book takes you away and it’s an amazing escape. To have someone love you so true and genuine is only a dream. But she found it and she’s keeping it.

This book drags. This story could have been summed up in 400 pages, not 800. This book is so disappointing as the other I read wasn’t so bad. This story is incredibly far fetched, poorly written, and overall three days I won’t get back in my life. There’s a reason it’s free!

Upsetting. This book is so full of assault, it’s a wonder anyone even hosts or recommends it. I started highlighting moments where the female protagonist says no or tells her boss to stop but it honestly got exhausting. No shade on a rape fantasy but don’t masquerade it as modern romance. This book is about an abusive and predatory relationship. In 2019.

Can’t put it down. SOOO GOOD! Accidentally read it in less than 24hrs 🙄

Wow. I actually loved this book. At first I was thinking that this was just like “the boss” and then the deeper I got into it, the more my mind change. Although it was quite similar, this was a good read!! I loved how it took its time to get to points and how the book wasn’t rushed. How they took things slow and how affectionate Jonathan was to Claire. It was the cutest thing ever!!

Resisting the Boss. Jonathon was a little overbearing for me and Claire wasn’t my favorite character either but it was still a really good book even though I found it to be a little drawn out. Didn’t end on a cliffhanger but have a feeling I need to read the next in the series to get more of their story.

Written well, but a tad bit rapey!. I find the protagonists in this book very annoying. Like many it’s in genre it’s a classic mega rich young stud story with a twist. The woman is 11 years his senior. Personally I find her insufferable. She also makes her intentions (or lack of) well known from the outset and the male protagonist actively ignores her. At points I was fairly convinced we were fringing on forced intercourse. He is intimidating and a bit of a bully, I wasn’t charmed by him at all! My only sympathy for him was that the female lead was unnecessarily stroppy. I can see what the author was trying to achieve here - delving into the psychology of divorce and use a less-usual age gap to create tension but overall it didn’t work for me.

Amazing. This book is out of this world, definitely one my list of favourite reads

Age is just a number. One of the best romance books I have red so far, love the fact that is so funny 🤣🤣 (was laughing so hard while reading)and romantic and the fact that is keeps telling us that age is just a number

Worth reading. This booked got me hooked! Worth reading. Love the twist and plot.

The boss. It has great basis to the book- started off great and moved at a great speed but then it seemed to drag out for no reason through the middle then just stops abruptly to end. The female is quite dramatic and over the top which I can kind of understand given the background. But the male is very dominating and I felt like he was almost raping her in some scenes. I almost stopped reading half way through but persevered
