Amazing. I personally loved this book. I’ve only recently gotten into science fiction books, and this one of my favorites. It’s humorous, entertaining, and well written. I’d highly recommend.

Shockingly, Out-Of-This-World Good!. To start off, I originally found out about this book due to an advertisement on TV Tropes. It seemed interesting, so I decided to give it a read. I can say that, in spite of some parts that initially annoyed me, I loved this book and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good sci-fi book with some decent romance. The story is about a group of young adults who are a part of a school that trains kids into soldiers for the intergalactic armed forces. However, the day before graduation, one of the students, Tyler, decides to go flying as a way to relieve his nerves. Fortunately, this midnight flight results in him saving a young woman who was floating around in space in cryostasis. The bad news is this resulted in him being late for graduation and he is now stuck with the dregs of the graduates, minus his twin sister and best friend. However, this girl he saved, Auri, is now strangely being hunted down by the government and it is up to Tyler and his crew to help keep her safe. Now, I will freely admit, this story is quite by the numbers in many ways, with events generally happening as you would expect them to. While this may turn away some readers, I personally found myself very invested in the story and characters. At first I felt like I knew how things would go and found myself steadily more and more annoyed as it went on. But eventually, it pleasantly surprised me and, by the end, I was more annoyed at how long I would have to wait for the next book. Now part of what makes me love the characters is the fact that we get to read from each of their perspectives, getting insights and ideas of what they’re like and how they work. Perhaps my favorite was the character of Zila, who is always very brief and to the point, with her chapters matching the way she would act. I definitely hope to know more about her in the next book. Overall, I consider this a must-read for anyone interested in sci-fi adventures. It has good characters, is familiar, yet different, and the ever-changing perspectives help keep things fresh. Strap in and enjoy the ride.

Freakin Fantastic. Multiple people suggested this to me when I told them I was into science fiction, and I regret pushing it off for as long as I did. This book is so good, I read the entire series in 3 days. The characters are lovable and quirky, and the plot is intricate but not confusing. I cannot express my love for this book, it’s too good :)

No words.. I bought this book because it was on sale. I hate science fiction. This book COMPLETELY changed my mind! The characters were written so well that I felt I personally knew each one! I loved all the different perspectives and ate up every single second!

Wow. I read this entire book in one sitting, my boyfriend thinks I’m some form of psychopath now. Completely worth it though, this book is amazing. Action packed, a wild twisting ride from start to finish, and to top it off a bit of romance. Couldn’t ask for more!

Holy freakin cake. It’s been a while since I’ve read a book due to mental reasons but when Jay and Amie released Aurora Rising, I knew there was a very real possibility that I would be able to read this book. Their books are just THAT good and engaging. I finished the book in three days and I’m in love. The characters are so relatable and each is so wildly entertaining. The banter... the relationships... all so real. Jay and Amie have done an amazing job and I can’t wait for Aurora Rising 2
