Handle With Care by Helena Hunting Book Summary

New York Times bestselling author of SHACKING UP and I FLIPPING LOVE YOU Helena Hunting mixes humor and heart in this scandal-filled romantic comedy.

HE WANTS TO LOSE CONTROL.
Between his parents’ messed up marriage and his narcissistic younger brother, Lincoln Moorehead has spent the majority of his life avoiding his family. After the death of his father, Lincoln finds himself in the middle of the drama. To top it all off, he’s been named CEO of Moorehead Media, much to his brother’s chagrin. But Lincoln’s bad attitude softens when he meets the no-nonsense, gorgeous woman who has been given the task of transforming him from the gruff, wilderness guy to a suave businessman

SHE’S TRYING TO HOLD IT TOGETHER.
Wren Sterling has been working double time to keep the indiscretions at Moorehead Media at bay, so when she’s presented with a new contract, with new responsibilities and additional incentives, she agrees. Working with the reclusive oldest son of a ridiculously entitled family is worth the hassle if it means she’s that much closer to pursuing her own dreams. What Wren doesn’t expect is to find herself attracted to him, or for it to be mutual. And she certainly doesn’t expect to fall for Lincoln. But when a shocking new Moorehead scandal comes to light, she’s forced to choose between her own family and the broody, cynical CEO.

Gab. The new version of this is

Another One for the Favorites List. Oh! My! This was such a wonderful, romantic and yet humorous tale. When and Lincoln are such perfect fools for one another and their relationship makes you sigh with longing for just such a relationship. This, and discovering the source of Armstrong’s severely innate douchery, make this a must read. Oh so many feels!

Enemies to lovers. I love Lincoln and Wren. This book was just such a fun easy read. Wren was tasked with reforming the reclusive heir Lincoln but gets a whole lot more than she bargained for when she falls in love with the wounded man. The banter between Wren and Lincoln is great.

Another stellar book in the Shaking Up Series!. This is the story of the elusive Lincoln Moorehead, we got hints and peeks of him in the other stories in this series. So I was so looking forward to this and Ms. Hunting gives us readers another amazing story! Handle With Care is not only funny and full of the heat you come to love in Ms. Hunting's stories, this one has some twists and turns that are gonna leave you with some OMG moments! Lincoln in forced to become something he doesn't want or need.  He has always been the absentee family member and with good reason. Wren is hired to polish Lincoln's image, but what starts as a professional relationship becomes so much more! She is a bit of a mystery, but good at her job of handling both Lincoln and Aaron...(still the complete jerk he has always been!) Quick witted banter and fantastic dialogue make this story a page turner that you won't be able to put down till the end. Past characters make appearances and it's lovely to read up on what they are up to.  It doesn't distract from the main story and brings just more. Each story in this series just gets better and better! Get you hands on this story, you won't regret it!

Great ending to the series. I really loved this book! We have been introduced to many of the characters in this book throughout the Shacking Up Series. Lincoln Moorehead is the brother of Armstrong, who was the dastardly, cheating groom in Hooking Up. Lincoln has been off saving the world when his father dies. He is back for the funeral, when his grandmother talks him into taking over the family media corporation. Since the only immediate family member he respects is his G-mom, he acquiesces. Wren Sterling was initially hired as a PR fixer to cover up Armstrong Moorehead’s many indiscretions. She is now tasked with transforming Lincoln from a scruffy do-gooder to a Fortune 100 CEO. Of course, while they spar verbally, they are insanely attracted to each other. Wren and Lincoln are truly enjoyable characters and I loved their banter, I also loved that the odious Armstrong finally got his comeuppance. I am sad to se the end of this series. I was given an ARC of this book from the author and NetGalley for my honest opinion.

Love it!. I have been anticipating Lincoln's story and believe me, HH does not disappoint! I have been drooling over Lincoln for awhile in the Shacking Up series, and you will find in this book that he is seriously swoon worthy! Wren is a piece of work and I loved every second of it! These two are dynamite together and you will be waiting for when it all goes down. Handle With Care with give you the goosies, blushes, and an excitement you weren't expecting. Hands down Lincoln is my number one book boyfriend that Helena has written. I never want to leave the Shacking Up crew!

Love Lincoln!!. Wren is a sassy, font take no crap kind of woman. Armstrong has been trying her patience for months. Now she’s hired to be Lincoln’s handler to help him adjust to his new role as CEO of Moorehead Media after his dads death. This book will keep you reading and laughing along. I loved the banter between characters and the steamy chemistry they share. Some twists you don’t see coming and the awesome HEA. Lincoln needed love to thaw his heart and Wren was strong enough to put up with him. A must read book and series. Helena knows how to write great series. I received a advanced copy for a voluntary honest review by Netgalley

A perfect romantic comedy. Lincoln Moorehead becomes the heir and CEO of Moorehead Media after his father’s passing, but he is not ready nor does he want such a promotion. That’s where Wren Sterling comes in. She is tasked to prepare him in take over the company. Can she wrangle this Moorehead, who wants nothing to do with the company? It has to be easier than “handling” his brother Armstrong...right? This is part of the Shacking up series and Armstrong’s Brother. You are going to laugh out loud at some parts of this romantic comedy. As always the side characters are also fantastic. Armstrong is as juvenile as ever and that’s being nice! I’m loving Lincoln and Wren! Told in dual POV

So freaking good. Outstanding! Handle With Care had power struggles amongst family members, comedy, a bit of angst, fantastic sexy time and exceptional writing. Can Wren keep Lincoln’s image untarnished? Will family secrets tear them apart? Helena’s ability to make me fall in love with her characters within 3 minutes is truly masterful. It’s not often that I’ll read from a paperback. Why? Because it requires light! So what do I do...kick the hubby out of our bed for the night and finish the book in one sitting. Handle With Care is that good! I highly recommend this book.

Loved it!. Wren & Linc are impossibly perfect for each other, I loved them so much! Lincoln was forced to head back to NYC when his father passed. The last thing he expected was for his grandmother to guilt him into heading the family company too. But he does it, for her. Good thing too because that’s where he meets Wren, his handler. Their relationship is effortless and amazing. Throw in some extra family drama and you’ve got a 4 star read!

Tighty Whities. Crazy story about Wren, the city girl, who is hired to be the handler for two brothers in a family business. Armstrong is the womanizing sibling without much of a conscience and Lincoln is the good guy who was off in third world countries living his best life. Their father, who is the head of the company dies unexpectedly, and just like that Lincoln becomes the new CEO of the business. As a handler, Wren, makes sure the brothers look great and keeps them from getting into trouble. She also tends to walk in on Lincoln at all the best times. Some themes: Office romance, cool Grandma, a mother that is not so lovable, twists and turns, tighty whities, strong women and a sweet guy.

AMAZING!!. Handle with Care is the perfect blend of angst and hilarity. Anyone who has read any of the books in the Shacking Up series probably hates Armstrong Moorehead. Lord knows I do so that made me so much more curious about his brother, Lincoln. How could I possibly love a character who's brother might be my least favorite character of all time? It's easy actually because Lincoln is the BEST!! He's a humanitarian, he loves his family, and he is H.O.T. Seriously, he might be my favorite in the entire series. Wren is so fierce!! HH writes some pretty amazing leading ladies and Wren definitely fits in with the rest. She stands her ground, she knows some crazy self defense moves, and she goes for what she wants. I can't imagine two characters more perfect for each other than Linc and Wren. I was glued to my kindle from start to finish. This book is worth every single second of time and sleep I lost reading it. I am totally addicted to this series and don't want to see it end. After Handle with Care, I could even go for a HEA for Armstrong (what??!!)!!! This world is one I'd be happy to visit forever.

💕 My Favorite of the Series 💕. Well, it's official! Lincoln Moorehead has dethroned my beloved Bane Mills as my favorite Helena Hunting hero. I still love Bane dearly, but Lincoln was pretty much everything I love in a hero and more. He truly snuck up on me and I never expected the reclusive Moorehead sibling and beloved Mills cousin to be any competition for the #ChurchOfBaneCock. Boy, was I wrong! From the very beginning, I was pulled into the story and didn't want it to end. Handle With Care is book 5 in the Shacking Up series, but can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend the previous books however, because they're hilarious and characters from those books do appear in Handle With Care. It's so rare for me to love the hero and heroine equally, but this was definitely the case with Lincoln and Wren. I loved them so much both as individuals and as a couple. They had such electric chemistry and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them go head to head in this enemies to lovers/taboo office romance. They were both intelligent, driven, loyal, and stubborn people. They challenged each other and were so evenly matched. Both knew how to push the others buttons and that passionate banter and back and forth translated so deliciously well in the bedroom. I loved that once they were in, they were all in, and that there were no silly misunderstandings or unnecessary drama between them. They were an amazing team and handled problems maturely by communicating, listening, and supporting the other. The epilogue was sexy and sweet and left me with a happy heart and huge smile. There were plenty of laughs in Handle With Care, but there were also more emotional moments too. The overall tone of the story was less playful than some of the previous books in the series, but it worked well with our characters and made me love the book more. G-mom was absolutely amazing and Armstrong and Gwendolyn played their roles perfectly. Handle With Care is my new favorite in the Shacking Up series (sorry Bane!) and you definitely don't want to miss it! *I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book*

Lincoln is my FAVORITE!. I adored Bane, Lex, and Griffin, but I LOVED Lincoln! He is rough and gruff and is a bull in a china shop. He is abrasive and aggressive and ALL man. He made my heart pitter patter from the beginning to the very end! Wren was so much fun. I liked her take charge personality and how she handled the super dysfunctional Moorehead family; especially Armstrong. She was exactly what Lincoln needed. I really enjoyed Lincoln and Wren’s story. It was so much fun to read. I loved the witty banter, the heat, and the swoonalicious moments between them. Helena Hunting has became one of my most favorite authors. I can always count on her stories to captivate me and take me to another world where perfect men and happily ever afters exist. I can’t wait to see where she takes me next! ~Review by Lys

So good!. Absolutely Fantastic! Smart, sexy, funny and very entertaining. Wonderfully written with characters that jump off the pages. The banter between the grouchy he-man, Lincoln, the reluctant heir to the massive Moorehead Media empire and his PR handler, the beautiful, smart and capable, Wren is marvelous and so much fun. The two hotties soon find a sexy chemistry that can't be deny. She handles him into the groomed-to-perfection face of the company while he melts her panties (and mine) in the process. Even though he looks the part, behind the scenes he's still the man with an axe to grind with his family and itching to return to his altruistic endeavors to help the less fortunate in third world countries. It looks like their relationship has an end date plus it's not the best for his optics as CEO. Also, his scheming mother has other plans for her eldest that doesn't include a romance with a woman she considers beneath the powerful Moorehead dynasty. The secondary characters are terrific and I love the glimpses of Linc's cousins from previous stories. Oh, those sexy men, Lex and Griffin! The way Wren handles Linc's nasty brother, Armstrong is hilarious! I guess there's no redemption for him in the future. This author's writing is just spectacular and the characters she gives to enjoy are terrific in every way. This story has everything you could want in a sexy romance with humor and enough drama to keep it interesting for a divine couple in Wren and Lincoln and a little mystery surrounding Linc's recently deceased father. Great ending. Loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

I was hooked from the first page. I’m a little bit annoyed with myself, somewhere along the way I missed book 4 in the Shacking Up series, I will rectify this, luckily all the books can be read as standalones. Enough of that, what about Handle with Care, what to say, we’ll not surprisingly, it’s funny, addictive (I read it in one sitting), sexy, and entertaining. Faultless writing and wonderful characters, Wren Sterling is gorgeous and astute, she knows what she wants, she’s smart and humble. Lincoln Moorehead too, knows what he wants, he wants to be left alone to do good in the world, the last thing he wants is to take charge of Moorehead Media, but with G-Mom’s persuasion tactics and Wren’s ‘handling’ skills, he just might be the person for the job, temporarily of course. First of all he’s got to deal with an idiot of a brother, and a pushy mom, and all that that entails. I was hooked from the first page. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

5 HANDLED STARS.. Handle With Care by Helena Hunting is the fifth in the ‘Shacking Up’ series about the Mills and Moorehead families. This is the mysterious, long talked about Lincoln’s story. He and Wren were so perfect together it just made me never want to stop reading this book. Lincoln’s been called back to New York by his father’s sudden death. He’s reluctant to go, and even less desirous of staying. But, meeting Wren changes that feeling, even though she’s been hired to make his change from surly outdoor’s man to man about the city. He’s poked and prodded within an inch of his life and that’s before he comes face to face with his family. I loved how these two. The banter was spot on, the chemistry scorching hot and the storyline was filled with fun, love, a little mystery and some serious mom-hate!! That Gwendolynn! This is yet another fabulous story from an awesome writer, grab your copy today.

Great. From start to finish Helena Hunting wove together a story that I simply could not put down, she had me totally engrossed and staying up way past my bedtime. This was an entertaining, at times frustrating story that seemed as though it was plucked from the minds of television executives, such was the drama, secrets and scandals. Wren Sterling is tasked with recreating the image of Lincoln Moorehead who suddenly finds himself at the head of Moorehead Media after the death of his father. Linc has done his best to keep away from his family and the dramas that fill their lives but now he has been thrust smack bang into the middle of it with no choice but to step up. The chemistry between Wren and Linc was intense, almost electrifying. I loved how they both tried to ignore the attraction growing between them until it became too hard to ignore. I was captivated by Linc from previous books but wow, Ms. Hunting has given us a story that made me fall head over heels for him. I love how feisty, sassy and put together Wren is, she was a fabulous match for Linc. All is not as it seems as secrets from both sides are revealed. Will Linc and Wren be able to make a go of it or will they be pulled in different directions? I love Ms. Hunting's style of writing, she ensures that her characters are not “perfect”and I found it easy to relate to Linc and Wren. A thoroughly fantastic book which has jumped up to be one of my top 3 from Helena Hunting.

Loved this book!. This book was great and I read it in one sitting, great relationship between the two main characters with a sexy twist.

Loved it so much!. Handle with care is a story that reads like a soap opera! Its entertaining, has so much drama and dilemmas surrounding the characters and the sizzling chemistry between Linc and Wren is hot! Wren is definitely a take charge woman who can handle her own! Shes now become Lincoln’s handler as he helps his family’s company as CEO! Needless to say what eventuates is nothing short of an enjoyable story! I love this book so much and its a fantastic addition to the series and definitely a book to be devoured with characters that will make you feel happy!

Good read. Enjoyable light read

Loved it. This story captivated from the first line to the very last page and it was everything I expected and so much more. It’s a fun entertaining flirty read with just a hint of mystery and suspense and it will certainly appeal to all romance lovers. Helena Hunting always gives us characters to fall in love with and Handle With Care is no different, you will swoon, you will be intrigued, you will laugh and I’m sure that by the end of this story you will be left smiling like a Cheshire Cat. If you are looking for a fun, sweet yet sexy read look no further I’m sure you will love this book which also happens to be a great addition to The Shacking Up Series. Can’t wait to see where this very talented author takes us next. This is a must one click !!!!

Hilarious, fun, and beautiful!. ThThis is the fifth book in the Shacking Up Series. This is a great Romantic Comedy, and Office Romance. Lincoln and Wren'story is hilarious, sexy, and beautiful. This is a great story with wonderful characters. The Epilogue is the perfect ending to this story. I loved it enough to purchase the audiobook version after reading it. Handle With Care is a great addition to the Series, and I highly recommend it.

energetic and edgy. HANDLE WITH CARE is the fifth instalment in Helena Hunting’s contemporary, adult SHACKING UP erotic, romance series. This is heir apparent and new CEO of Moorehead Media Lincoln Moorehead, and fixer/handler Wren Starling’s story line. HANDLE WITH CARE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Lincoln and his brother Armstrong were first introduced in book four-Making Up. Told from dual first person perspectives (Lincoln and Wren) HANDLE WITH CARE follows in the wake of Lincoln’s father Fredrick Moorehead’s death. Never wanting to follow in the family business, Lincoln has spent most of his life helping others but his return to Moorehead Media comes with a caveat-a handler in the guise of Wren Starling, a woman hired to create the new image of Lincoln Moorehead, and the woman with whom Lincoln will fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Wren and Lincoln, and the potential fall –out as their office romance comes to the light. Lincoln Moorehead wants nothing to do with Moorehead Media but his brother Armstrong’s reputation as a man-wh*re and his questionable business ethics find our hero at the helm of the company for the next six months. Having just returned from a project in Guatemala, Lincoln struggles with returning to New York, and the woman hired to handle our story line hero. Wren Starling’s job to keep Armstrong out of trouble has landed her in the position to reintegrate Lincoln back into civilized society. From new suits to business meetings, Wren, a feisty and capable heroine, takes control of Lincoln’s life including slowly falling in love with the man that calls to her heart. The relationship between Lincoln and Wren begins as a business arrangement but soon turns into something more. When other members of the Moorehead family discover the romance between our leading couple, information will be used to push Wren out of Lincoln’s life. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate; the sexual attraction is immediate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. We are introduced to Lincoln’s troubled and spoiled younger brother Armstrong, his mother Gwendolyn, and their spunky grandmother Penelope Moorehead, as well as an assortment of Moorehead Media employees; Wren’s mother Abigail, and her father Senator Starling; Wren’s friend and PI Dani,; and the return of Lincoln’s cousin and business partner Griffin Mills (Making Up #4). HANDLE WITH CARE is a story of family, betrayal, money and control, secrets and lies. The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance is seductive and hot; the characters are strong, impassioned and colorful. HANDLE WITH CARE is an energetic, edgy and emotional story line.
