The Book of Five Rings is a classic strategy book written by Musashi Miyamoto. The Book of Five Rings is widely considered a classic treatise on military strategy, much like Sun Tzu's The Art of War and Chanakya's Arthashastra. The five "books" refer to the idea that there are different elements of battle, just as there are different physical elements in life, as described by Buddhism, Shinto, and other Eastern religions. Through the book Musashi defends his thesis: a man who conquers himself is ready to take it on on the world, should need arise.

Confusing. He talks about using swords. Not totally useless info here but it’s kinda like reading Shakespeare. Kinda boring and a little difficult to understand. Overall I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Spirit. As the last line in this book about Spirit, this book is Nothingness! Worst book ever!
No graphics as described. The details on this book in the iBooks store describes it as a graphic adaptation with artful interpretations of the stories, but there are no graphics whatsoever apart from the cover… weird?
Cover. Is there a reason he’s wearing imperial Chinese garb as opposed to Japanese ones, did he move to China or something?
