A Snooze. Very ssslllooowww. Read the first 100 pages and had no interest in reading any more. Smiley has two more books planned, and I thought it would be nice to read a great American trilogy, but I couldn't even get through the first book.
Terminally boring. Mindless, repetitive dialogue with no point or direction. Characters are superficial, undifferentiated. A great concept for a trilogy that never gets off of the ground. So disappointing.
