SWEET…. Of course I grew up with this classic story, but don’t remember it in detail. This may be the first time I have actually read it. It’s a really sweet story, and a joyful read. The illustrations are darling! 😘

It was ok but horrible at the same time. We all know the story about the ugly duckling so why make it so much more likely to not love it.So.... it is a no for me because I got board of reading it and how does a gray duckling turn into a white swan and that is sooooooooo fake and boring

Cute story. I really thought this was a cute story, but I did find it hard to keep my son’s attention. It was a little wordy for him so maybe it’s meant for older children. My son isn’t school aged yet so I’m hopeful that was the issue with this book. I do plan on revisiting it when he is older.

very cute. i’m glad that it just ended on him being happy. the part where he shows off in the regular tale just doesn’t sound right. beautiful pictures and told very well!

This is a incomplete story.. The end is so simple and barely teaches something.

the ugly duckling. the book was sad at first because everyone was calling the duck ugly and they should be nice even if he’s ugly, also the end was confusing did he magically turn into a swan or did he turn into a white duck or something?? Anyway the book was interesting and fun to read and I think everyone should be nice and not call him ugly. Overall the book was good and would recommend it for little kids as it might not be as interning for 10yr olds and over
