So sad. Hello, I'm a social worker in a county jail...this story speaks to people who are in your position.... I appreciate that. I'm stuck with how to counsel inmates recidivism all day long.....and possibly us elf "treating me" to a few glasses of wine at the end of the day..... Wish I knew a population of counselors who deal with subaStance abuse and question their own at the end of the day.... Thanks for letting me vent.... Teresa

Happier Hour. Loved this book! Coming from a home of alcoholics it was great to read the struggles one faces with alcohol. Being a daughter and now a mother I fight with mentally knowing I’m okay to have a drink and understanding that not everyone can say no after one. It was great to read as I feel I have a better understanding on what my parents go through. Thank you for having the courage to write this and taking that leap into sobriety! Amazing book!

Bex's story is uplifting whilst acknowledging the challenges that she found ways to navigate.
