Higgins at his best!. Nothing quite beats another gripping tale of the Brits, Major Simon Vaughn and rogue IRA splinter groups, battling against the backdrop of the a violent Northern Ireland.
The Savage Day. Jack Higgins. Simon Vaughn is incarcerated in a Greek jail. A British General named Ferguson has offered him a ticket for his freedom. His assignment is for his help against the IRA in Belfast. What ensues is an extremely fast paced tale of non stop action, intrigue and betrayal. Enjoyed immensely !! My highest recommendation!!
