Emotionally Satisying!!!!. First I want to applaud The WARDen for a most wonderful roller coaster ride of a read! I laughed, I feared, misted and angered and like Vishous dropped F bombs, true? There are surprises galore in this novel and I am ecstatic to have read it. This is a short review because I won't give spoilers!

The Beast. Great read!!!

One of My Favourites. This book started much like some of the other books. The brothers arguing like brothers, the war with the lessers, the Omega making an appearance, but then it quickly changed to something else entirely. This became very domestic and heartwarming. So many happy endings, but also so many new pieces to the puzzle that will surely be put into place in the next books. This one had several teary moments, some sad, some happy. Talk about a beautiful ending, too.

Keeps getting better and better!. When is the next one coming out!!

The Beast is Best⭐️. If you are a fan of the Brotherhood, then you are going to love this one. I laughed, cried, and cheered along with each chapter. Who is Markus? Will Manny find his sister? What about Throe, did he escape? So many questions...I hope the next book is ready to be published right now. I can't wait.

Amazing!. I have read all the BDB books and even had one signed by the author. I am a huge fan! This one is so good! I have to admit to tearing up so many times while reading this one. It is a must read!!! I think it might be the best one so far but since they have all been great there is little wiggle room in the rating department. Many new stories were laid out in this one so I see more to come. Thank you J.R. Ward.

Not as good as some. I normally love these books! They are so edgy and full of tension! This time I wish she had made it about Xcor and Layla with the Mary/Rhage story on the side. I found myself skipping through their parts of the book (which is most of the book!)

Blah. I loaded this right after it was released, here it is almost a year later. And I can't even get halfway thru it. It's the same book over and over. Boring....

BDB never disappoints!. As an avid reader, I've found that through the years some series have lost my interest, as if the books are 'cookie cutter'. That is not the case with J.R. Ward's BDB series. I have loved this series from the first book and on. I understand the author may want to venture away but, man I just love the characters. The depth. I feel as if they are real, even though I know none of it is. Great addition to the series! Love Mary and Rhage! Can't wait until the next book!

The Beast. This book is more than a five star rating! I am a fairly new fan of JR Ward. This is the first time I've ever rated a book and I've been a paranormal romance and fantasy book reader for a solid 15 years as my free time allows. This book brought out so many emotions with me. Very well written. A must read.

My favorite. I've read every one of the BDB novels. This one is my favorite!!! There is so much love in this book, and very well told! I'm also excited to read what I'm sure will be a great book about another character in this book 😉

Ward has outdone herself!!. Wow!! I thought the series was amazing before. This book has put it over the top!! I could not put it down, I was so engrossed in the story!! My heart cried & jumped for joy right along with all the characters. Now I have the agonizing wait for the next book.

The BEAST by J. R. Ward. Well worth the wait. The BEAST features the Black Dagger Brother Rhage and "his Mary". This is Truly A Great Book, and if you are a fan of Ward's BDB, you must read this book! Lots of related stories of all the Brothers, their Shellans, and what is happening in Caldwell. Give this book a Read, you will not regret it!

Best one yet!. My favorite!!

The Beast. I have ready all of the Black Dagger Brotherhood books in the series and can honestly say, like the rest of them, I couldn't put The Beast down. It took me 3 evenings to read and left me wanting more! As I read the last chapter and wiped the tears from my eyes, I couldn't help but wonder...who will be the subject of the next book! Can't wait!

Tears. Yep, there running down my cheeks. Guess you could say I once again loved J.R. Books. Never had a series of books that have kept me enthralled for years actually, as I read them certain ones over while waiting for the new one to come out. I hope our author can keep them coming.

Awesome book!. I absolutely loved this book. Rhage has always been my favorite of the brothers. It was a truly well told story and I can't wait for the next book in 2017.

Love Rhage and Mary!. I have enjoyed Ward's visits with the original Brothers as she has continued the BDB stories. The King gave us more time with Wrath and Beth and I knew when reading The Shadows the next book would have to be Rhage and Mary's book and it only made sense to me for it to be called The Beast. When Ward made the announcement at the Q&A session for The Shadows, everyone in the room went crazy. I loved Rhage and Mary's original story and couldn't wait to see where Ward took their story. I honestly loved all the page time we got with Rhage and Mary in The Beast. With the title The Beast you would assume this would be true, but in my opinion, until The Shadows, Ward has put so many story lines in each book, the main couple didn't always get enough page time. Ward really did a great job with focus on everything going on with Rhage and Mary and did a great job with it. I'll be honest and say I felt Rhage was suffering from PMS when I read the Shadows and was afraid we wouldn't get answers to why, but we did and Ward did a very respectful job in dealing with Rhage figuring out he wanted to be a dad. As Rhage and Mary can never have children in the traditional way, the only option for them in adoption. The fact that Rhage turns into a beast that eats everything in sight and Mary is human could totally be an issue. It was so sweet to watch Rhage and Mary figure out the right path for them. The fact that Bitty, a recently orphaned young, came into their lives right now was just perfect. I will say I adored how quickly Rhage and Bitty bonded and many of their scenes together made me laugh out loud. There was also plenty of romance and love making between Rhage and Mary. I swear he has a special love for the kitchen pantry and bathtubs. Both hot and laugh out loud funny love scenes with Rhage and Mary and I loved them both. We also had time with Layla, who was impatiently awaiting the birth of the twins. I was honestly worried about what Ward would do with the twins after everything that happened in The Shadows. She had promised at the Q&A they would both survive, but I still had concerns. However, while there was much drama surrounding the early birth of the twins, I was satisfied with the outcome and absolutely loved the names. I will say I am ready to see the Layla an Xcor issue to move forward and now that the babies are here, hopefully it will be addressed in the next book. I absolutely loved all the page time we got with the original brothers and Lassiter. Lassiter as always made me laugh out loud. The Brothers all being together felt like it did when the series first started. I honestly feel like Lassiter is the humor the books needs, and do hope he eventually gets his own book, but the brothers spending time together, ins imperative to the series staying strong. My only issue with The Beast is the amount of time we had to spend with Assail. As I've heard Ward say over and over again how much she loves him, I know he will get page time in each book. However, I've come to dislike him more and more with each book. Some of his choices in The Beast made absolutely no sense to me. I really feel like with the amount to page time he received, Assail might just be the subject of the next BDB full length book. Honestly this does not make me happy as there are so many other characters I'd rather see get the focus of a book. Overall, I really enjoyed The Beast. We got plenty of time with the original brothers, and Ward did a great job with her focus on Rhage and Mary. As promised we saw Layla give birth, and it was everything I expected. I'm pretty happy with where Ward took the Brotherhood in The Beast and can't wait to see where she takes us in the next book. Review copy provided by publisher

I love J.R.Wards books!!. And I bet this one is as awesome as the rest!! I can just no longer afford them! I switched to ebooks because they are usually more affordable. Even though I have read every book she's written and followed the series like an addict I can't go on. $18.99 for digital? The habit is just too expensive. 😢
