Five Stars. I have so enjoyed the Clearwater series. It is the absolute truth that each one gets better. I think this is the best offering to date. Al Rennie is not only a great author, but he is smart enough to have a great editorial staff. I am trying very hard to prepare for a final episode. But, and I mean this in the kindest way, not going to happen. Some of his faithful readers are pretty determined to continue to be entertained by a prolific and five star author such as Mr. Rennie. And to his credit, he has inadvertently given some inventive ways to make this happen. There is so much sub-par offerings these days. Thank you for making reading not only entertaining, but enjoyable! Thanks to his wonderful editors. It is storming here and I love to sleep while it is thundering, lightning, and raining. A lot. But I love to read a good (wonderful) book more. When the book hit the e-store at midnight, I had thought to wait until morning to read it. Didn't happen. I'm glad I did not wait. Good job, Mr. Rennie. Thank you. Write on!

Please keep Joe alive and well in Clearwater. I have enjoyed and waited in anticipation of every adventure with Joe and Mia and Max and Frank and Fred and Jeremy and all CHiPs fellow cohorts in the Clearwater series. I have read Best Sellers and Mainline authors in the Publishing world but these books are the ones that make me laugh, cry, hold my breath, and surprise me. I would be extremely unhappy if they stopped coming anytime soon. Please wait a little longer before you retire them and become a jockey, race car driver or whatever. Anything other writing these books would totally bore you to death!! Cindyb

Clearwater Betrayal. Another great read. I would love for the Clearwater series to continue until Doc and Mia are the neatest grandparents any kid could have. These books are simply amazing.

Please don't ever stop. I read Clearwater Journals a few years ago shortly after my husband of 24 years died. I found Joe and Mia's story so heartwarming and full of humor that I immediately all of the Clearwater books available. You have never disappointed. I've never written a review before because I really hate writing. But after finishing Betrayal I felt maybe I should let you know how much I look forward to reading each new book. I tell everyone I know about your wonderful stories. Please, keep them coming.

Seriously GOOD!. I love all the books in this series, but Betrayal is a whole new level of writing for Rennie. He carries his theme of betrayal through the book in multiple ways, creating a uniquely compelling story. And just when you think you know where he's going, he heads off into a new direction so fast, it's like literary whiplash! I can't remember when I've been so impressed by an author. Sure, all his books are entertaining and fun to read. Betrayal is seriously good writing. I am so impressed with this. It's hard not to give it away, but that would spoil it for others. All I can say is, if you miss this book, you've missed a gem!

Don't ever stop writing!!. Please do not ever stop writing about Joe and Mia! Each book is better than the next. I look forward to reading each one and cannot wait for the next one to come out. You make the characters come alive and have adventures most people only dream about. I love seeing Little Billy, Sean and Amber grow up, getting such a balance of humor, confidence and conscience. Anyway, please continue the series, hopefully forever.

Betrayal.... Used in more ways than one. Love this book as I have the entire series. This one seemed to pack in a little more of everything.... without ever adding pages upon pages of descriptive test which seem as if they are there to meet some minimal page count requirement. I know nothing about publishing so that's just a guess are simply gratuitous to page counts or it seein most books that makes since. Where I skim or skip several pages just to get back to the story line... Rennie's descriptions are great and add substance to the story. I've never skimmed thru any pages of this or his other books... I'm certain I know I would miss something. Don't mis this book!

Chill in'. I'm chillin with your book and thinking I might want to visit Florida someday. All the places you describe makes me want to go. Don't stop writing Bubba! You're my main source of entertainment these days! Chris
