Awakened by Fire. This is an easy read. Characters are well developed. The descriptions are detailed enough to create vivid pictures of the action. Good stuff!

And it's all compounded by the interference of his steward and his steward's granddaughter, the one woman Warrick knows he should only protect, but can't help but desire above all others. Awakened by Fire delivers a twist-filled miasma of wonderfulness full of danger, deceit, revenge, and passion, perfectly balanced with light-hearted dialogue and captivating characters that you won't want to leave when the last page is turned. If you're a dragon shifter fan, I HIGHLY recommend this book. It is book #2 of the series (book #1 is Tempted by Fire), but stands perfectly well on its own. I've followed Erin's journey since her very first book, Shadow Bound. And her Reveler series has grabbed (and kept) a place in my top 5 favorite series of all time list. Great series.. Gifted copy for honest review. I really enjoyed reading Awakened by Fire. This is a story about Warrick and Samantha. Warrick is a powerful dragon shifter and member of the Triad. Thomas is his trusted steward and Sammy is his granddaughter. She has a gift that can get the both of them killed. Someone is after Warrick and Sammy keeps him safe by traveling back in time to see if anything is not right. Sammy so becomes a target as well. I loved the ending and can't wait for the next one.

Super glad I found this. I first read in dark and damaged collection the first book and it was so great I was immediately drawn into all things bloodkin. Soo glad I found this jem b/c now onto this book, book 2 is just wonderful totally have reader committed to the series!!! Well done, love the writing, and have found a new keeper of an author. Can't wait for the next round to continue the great world that's been built!

Great dragon shifter pnr. Loved this book!! A great 2nd entry in a new series that builds on the events of the first, but could still be read on its own if you haven't been able to read the previous entry. Lots of action and the relationship between main characters Samantha and Warrick provides plenty of humor and romance. If you love dragon shifters be sure not to miss this one! Review for ARC copy.
