Hot space romance!. I love this author’s world building! Kendalls story of being used to pay off her father’s gambling debt is so dystopian. Adding that Alek and the population of Qurillixia have no idea that some brides are not willing adds some intrigue. When they meet, Alek will do everything to keep her, even leave the planet. Excellent Read!!!. I absolutely loved The Stubborn Lord and found the story to be another satisfying read in the Qurilixen world. With a strong female lead in Kendall Haven and a sexy Dragon Shifter, Lord Alek determined to have her for his own the narrative flowed at a perfect pace and was wonderfully written. With passion, adventure, intrigue and family dynamics showcasing the plot this was an amazing Sci-Fi Romance read! Highly Recommended!!! Great story.. Kendall hasn’t had the best luck but Alek is just what she needs, if only she’ll admit it. Fast fun read in the Galaxy Brides part of the Dragon Lords. Likable characters, great world building and a fun story that is fast paced tied into a great romance.

“Suddenly, swords and dungeons weren’t sounding too bad.”. Kendall never planned on being a bride, but as the responsible member of her family she finds herself not only with a too good to be true man, but desperately trying to get back home in time to take care of the responsibilities that give her life meaning. Alek was ready to give up on finding a wife when Kendall appeared in his life. He'll do anything to settle their marriage and make her happy, no matter how challenging, but will it be enough when he can't get this mysterious woman to explain why she wants to leave. This done in one book sees family loyalty and responsibility from two different angles as a new couple struggles to find their happily ever after when their lives are anchored in very different places. I was gifted with a copy of this book and chose to share my review.

The stubborn Lord. This is the sixth book in the dragon lord series and Kendall and Alexs story. It was a well written with a wonderful plot in the Qurilixen World that grab me from the beginning and kept me reading for the entire story. There’s action drama danger twists and turns kidnappings intrigue romance and love. The characters had a good chemistry in their interactions keep me interested. Not my favorite of the series. I loved the first and last few chapters. But the majority of the book feels recycled. Some lines I’m almost positive were word for word from the previous book. The way she gets to the crew ship was the most unique of all the ones I have read. And once space talk becomes a factor this story has its own feel. I don’t mind books with the same time line (this is book 6 of this time line) but I feel like there should be an more if an effort to make it feel like it’s own book. Had I read this as a stand alone it would have been fine but the middle is to much like the one before it for me. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

She needs to get back home to save her young sister. But she is chosen during the ceremony. Alek has failed to find his mate at the previous Breeding Festivals. But this time he finds his mate. But she doesn’t want to be married or stay. They perform the breaking of the crystal. Yet he agrees to let her go. They have passion and chemistry. Kendall needs to save her sister from the same fate she suffered with her father. Another Draig royal family member that found his mate. But she needs to get back to rescue her sister. The alpha shifter stole my heart. From the very beginning I felt Alek’s pain and longing. He has a strong belief in his gods and thinks he is being punished. Kendall woke up on the Galaxy Brides ship heading to Qurilixen, not knowing how she got there. Alek and Kendall’s meet cute is not cute, but with her growing up on the fueling station she reacts better than most. Having read many of the previous books I feel like I’ve been to Qurilixen. Even if this was your first book though the descriptions of the planet, the castles, and the animals is rich and colorful making you feel like you can see it. This story is sometimes sad but this culture clash is also funny and heartwarming, and in the end you can’t help smiling. A wonderful addition to the series.. Alek, second Duke of Draig and nephew to the king and queen, is attending his fifth Breeding Festival. He has given up all hope of finding his mate and does not want to attend the festival. When his stone lights up unexpectedly and he meets Kendall all is not lost. But when she tells him otherwise, he does everything to change her mind. What happens next was a wonderful addition to the addicting Dragon Lords series, with all the action and heat level that will leave you craving for more. I can’t wait to read more of this wonderful world.

Great read. I really enjoy this book. I love how Alex was protective of Kindle. I like the irony of him giving up on love and his phone in his mouth on the native night of the celebration but in the words instead of the procession. I like that he was a strong warrior but also that had doubts about himself. This made him more real to me The fact the Kendall wouldn’t give up on her father even though he lost her in a bet shows the love between parents and their children. I like how she refused to give up on finding her sister even though it will be difficult.

I love the cousins. I loved the story of Kendall and Alek. Both have loss and the issues regarding that, but they also decide to talk to each other to help settle the marriage they have begun.

The stubborn lord. Each of these books I’ve read and this one is one of my favourites. I enjoyed the characters, chemistry and the storyline. Each one overlaps to the next so I’m certainly looking forward to the next instalment.

Another great Qurilixen novel. This is the 6th Dragon Lord novel in the Qurilixen World series and another success for Michelle. This one concerns Kendall Haven and Lord Alek. Kendall is given to some thugs by her father to cover his gambling losses. She is then sold to the highest bidder--an alien bride procurement agency. Dragon-shifter nobleman Lord Alek after failing to find his fated mate attends the bridal ceremony out of familial duty with little hope of finding a bride. Then he meets Kendall and is determined not to let her go no matter how she feels. I found myself engrossed in reading this story following the ups and downs of their strange courtship. Love and Family. This story has a few dark spots, but there’s plenty of sweetness as well (and, of course, a happily ever after). My favourite part of this book is a truly poignant quote: “I love you, but more than that, I appreciate you.” Kendall and Alek’s story was well written and easy to read, and it’s builds the tension in the larger story arc of the Qurilixen World Series.

Life and love is a gamble. This story brought an interesting twist to the galaxy brides coming to meet potential mates with the Draig. What a situation Kendall found herself in! I enjoyed watching Alek and Kendall meet and go through the mating ceremony process albeit with a few deviations along the way. Life in space with aliens all around just shows how there is not a linear path in life for anyone. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Actually 2 very stubborn people coming together. Well it’s a romance story so you know it’s going to work out in the end but I really worried about how this story would work out. In the marvelous writing hands of Michelle M. Pillow it works out great of course. Not perfectly but good for now at least. As much as I enjoyed reading about Kendall and her dragon lord Alex I am enjoying the overall story that is slowly emerging in this series. This isn’t world building it’s galaxy building and it’s a very interesting one at that. I had heard about this series and finally started it and now I’m hooked.
