Truly Beautiful. I couldn't put this book down. So much tragedy and love pulling at each other's hearts and somehow pulling it together with love everlasting beautiful

Amazing... but also lacking a bit. Loved the story from the very beginning, but felt there needed to be a couple more chapters to tie everything together. *Spoilers* Did Abby except Travis job choice, the twins job status, did Cami and Trent have a baby, etc. Still loved just didn't feel 100% about it.

Wasn't Jamie's best writing. Let me start by saying Jamie is my favorite author out there. I have loved every Maddox brother book to date. This book was just ok to me. I didn't feel the feelings and it just felt like it was rushed, cut-off and all over the place. There was never any conclusions. It just went from different POV in every chapter, that you had to keep thinking about who you were reading about. The end was a little too obvious as well. I'm very sad that I didn't like it. And I accidentally bought 2 ebooks and a paperback.

All I can say is OMG. Jamie McGuire has truly out done herself with this book. Just when I read a book and think "she won't be able to top this one" she writes this. I was scared to read this book from the moment that the title was revealed. But I must say that this is the most beautiful ugly cry book I have ever read. Jamie has truly done an amazing job giving the readers what we have always wanted. More Maddox boys. With this book you not only get a look into each Maddox man's mind, but you also get to see into the lucky ladies who married a Maddox man's as well. Each chapter had me gasping, and smiling, and tearing up. Thank you Jamie for writing such an amazingly beautiful book.

Horrible way to end the series. I had very high hopes for this book. I was completely disappointed. This book ruined the series.

After the funeral. At the end I was waiting for a little more content after they leave the funeral.

Bittersweet. I absolutely loved reading this series. Every book had its own unique twist and intrigued me the whole way through. Unexpected ending but loved it just the same. Must read series!

Overwhelmed but slightly disappointed. The final book of the series is always exciting for me...this one was different and great but towards the end I felt like I was left high and dry. It was great don't get me wrong just not the ending...like what now? Have they been forgiven? Will they just not talk About it? Like it never happened? Hmm 🤔 maybe it's just me.

It was ok. Like the title says the story itself was ok. There were just too many POVs for my liking. I sometimes had to go back a couple pages to remember who’s view I was reading from.

Beautiful &Maddox Brothers series. I loved this series!! I’m just not sure about the ending. I was hoping fir resolutions on all of the issues the brothers & wives faced with each other. I’m hoping 🤞🏻 it was left this way to leave room for another book showing how the future panned out for the Maddox family!!!

Big let down.. So surprised. Ive followed the series from the beginning. Loved every book until this one. The FBI protocols in this book were absolutely ridiculous. Thomas's funeral was also quite absurd. Shouldn't it have been on a smaller scale and private since it was fake, instead of involving the WHOLE TOWN? And was this ending supposed to be beautiful? She killed off the dad, a child, and left the family that we all love feeling guilty and resenting one another. This is not a cool twist, it's just a sloppy ending. This book was a slap in the face to those devoted to the series. What a let down Jamie McGuire.

Best book in the series by far.. I have read all the books in the series, beginning with A Beautiful Disaster and ending with A Beautiful Funeral. I was so addicted to this book that I read it in 7 hours. I found myself being angry with the characters, crying with them, and feeling their happiness and pain. I love that everyone I have grown to love was able to share a side of their story. This was a great ending to an excellent series.

Beautiful. My eyes are so puffy from all the crying. Such a good way to wrap up the series I’ve invested all of my time in for the past 4 days. I couldn’t stop reading the books. I was just so consumed & loving every second of it.

Oh. My. Lanta!. I'm still raw with emotion, so this may no be coherent. I have truly never read a more emotional or well written story! This book wrenched feelings out of me that I didn't even know I had. I have cried happy tears and sad tears. Visited with old friends and made new ones. This story was so satisfying but still left me wanting more! I stayed awake all night to finish it, even though I had work today. It was totally worth it!!! Do yourself a favor, read this book immediately!!

💛💚💜❤️💙. This story to me was a definite test of love, loyalty and heart. It will make you smile and cry. Oh, hell, you will Ugly Cry and probably look like a puffer fish for a while but this was definitely her best one yet!!!

Tears. After reading all the maddox series I was grateful for my 2am insomnia for once! It's rare a book brings out so much emotion in me, but this had me in tears multiple times

Strange. It was interesting at first in the sample, but close to it's end it was so boring 😔

A Beautiful Funeral. I can’t believe the emotions I am feeling as I finally sit back think about the book. Not just this book, but the whole series. Each one was so beautifully crafted and written in such a way that it makes any reader think about what’s going to happen next; and just wanting more and more. I had started with A Beautiful Disaster and finally ended the series. I knew reading this last book would make me feel so sad about the characters and the story but it was totally worth it.

If you haven't bought this book yet buy it! It will be one of the best things you have done.. I'm just going to admit it now, the title worried me at first, but after reading it I realized just how great of a story McGuire had written. It was one of the best books I'd read in a long time, I mean I finished it in about about 4 hours so that means it must have been good! While I am still sitting here in shock and awe of this book, I have realized what an amazing author Jamie McGuire is. She knows just how important these characters are to us as readers and although I am still upset over the deaths that happened in the book, I'm just glad she knew better than to actually kill off any of my favorites. I don't know if I would have made it if she had. :) McGuire is a phenomenal author and she has blown me away with this book! I'm sure I'll still be thinking about what I read even months later. If you are still having second thoughts on reading this book, buy it now and read it! It will be one of the best things you have done.

The Sadest Book of the Series. The ending was great. It had me in tears. If you've read the series of books you should definitely read this book.

Absolutely amazing. There are truly no words to describe my love for this book. It got me right in the feels. As I knew the end was approaching, it took me a while to begin to finish, but I did, ugly crying the whole way through. This is such an incredible series, one in which you feel apart of the Maddox family. Well done, Jamie!

Beautifully Written. A Beautiful Funeral is so beautifully written. Jamie merges the stories of all of the brothers and their families together. I laughed. I cried…a lot. lol You definitely should read all of the books in order in order to truly enjoy this work of art as it’s intended. I’m a lover of the Maddox brothers FOREVER! I hope this isn't the last one!

Very Disappointed with the Ending. What I love most about all the other books in this series is that you see the main characters overcome their struggles and end up in a happy place. This book was just a big mess and the author brought out some very unattractive qualities in a lot of the characters that I had come to love, especially Abby. Her whole attitude toward Cami came out of left field. Furthermore, you see the whole family become more and more fractured and turn on each other, and then there is NO resolution. If the author had taken the time to write a longer ending that showed the family growing through their trials, forgiving each other, and becoming stronger than ever, it would have been perfect. Instead we are given nothing like that. The ending was definitely beautiful and I cried like crazy, but it was even more sad for the fact that we got to see glimpses of Jim and Dianna starting their amazing family, and then you’re left with wondering if they even spoke to other after everything. Instead of wrapping up the series with a fantastic ending, it’s like I read about the end of the Maddox family. So sad.

The Best Ever!. I was afraid to read this book. I knew, somehow, that I would be an emotional mess afterward. Jamie REALLY pulled you in, entertained you, and, ultimately, gave you hope. This is, by far, her BEST book. I love, love, love those Maddox boys. If you are on the fence, read the book! It is so worth your time!

Breathtakingly Beautiful. A Beautiful Funeral was breathtakingly beautiful. The title alone could cause trepidation and heart palpitations, but I wasn't afraid. I trust Jamie completely. But, nothing could have prepared me for the emotional roller coaster ride that I would experience reading this book, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. The Maddox family already had a special place in my heart, but this book helped them become a part of my soul. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

On the "edge of your seat" read!. First Jamie is one of my favorite authors! This book was beautiful in many ways even when parts tore at your heart. For me it really makes you rethink your focus in life and what's really important. While I'm sad for some outcomes, it was nice to see how the Maddox boys lives grew and changed. A MUST READ!!!

Love it, but hate it at the same time.. I loved the emotion you feel while reading the book, the suspense, and how the story unfolds. Yet, we are let with many questions about the characters. For example, Camille mentioned she had a weird feeling in her stomach.... was she finally pregnant? Did Abby and the rest of the wives ever apologize to Cami after they treated her so poorly? Was Trenton ever going to forgive his brothers fully? Did Thomas and Travis ever forgive themselves for what happened to Olive and Papa? And lastly, was Falyn able to forgive them? I personally love the relationship that Trenton and Camille have, they went through a lot of things and still managed to have a good marriage from what we read. Yet, I felt extremely disappointed with how all of the wives treated her. She was always there for them, but yet they would lash at her every chance they had... expect Ellie. I felt sad because they didn’t let her grieve, when in reality she had also lost someone she cared about. I also have a feeling that Thomas still held love for her. Cami was the one that took care of Jim, alongside with Trent, and the rest did not. Still they all stepped all over her. Very disappointed with this part of the book. They should have made her a stronger character, and given her some credit for everything she did.I would love to read about her and Trenton’s life after Jim’s death.

Jamie McGuire never fails to deliver with each and every book that she has written about the Maddox boys will make you fall in love with all of them. A Beautiful Funeral is one book that you must read, you won't want to miss out on it!

Grab the tissue and read on. I loved every aspect of this book. I was so scared to read it because I didn't want to loose ANY Maddox family member. The ups and downs and updates and different perspectives given were awesome. This book had its own story line, yet gave detailed updates on the characters we love. It's a definite must read and best seller. Fair warning is that you should be prepared to cry your face off! But the title should help you understand that.

My favorite so far!. This is probably my favorite of the Maddox brothers! It jumps around a lot so keep up and be prepared for all the feelings!

Tears are blurring my vision. First I think that Jamie McGuire has the most Beautiful book covers of anyone. This book touched my heart with the family love each of the Maddox brothers showed for each other and their kids and strong wife's. The love for there Dad broke my heart. This book must be read after all the ones that came before..so read this lovely story and then Thank Jamie for giving us this family to love.

Amazing. WOW!!!!! What a way to pull together this series. I am not normally a fan of long series. Very few authors can keep the story/life alive in long series. Jamie McGuire has achieved that with this book. What brought me to this series in the first place is there all the way to the last paragraph of this book. Truly a great read.

I LOVE THE MADDOX FAMILY!. When I first heard about this book I was so EXCITED! Reading each character.. OH MAN.. I honestly fell in love all over again and I couldn't get enough of how the life's of everyone we love had changed throughout the years. It was great up until the numerous of lies started to come out. (I don't want to give too much away, but it was just wasn't my cup of tea.) The main issue at hand as to why the lies were happening just wasn't enough for me to feel anything, but what the Maddox family were feeling. Upset, betrayed, and well had had enough. As the ending was coming along all I kept thinking was...,"Really you guys are all doing this for what again? Uhh.. for safety reasons, but I don't think that plan is working out so well because..." BAM it hits you. Your just reading the end loving it and thinking hmm.. Now what? I am a fan of McGuire will continue to be a fan of hers. Just voicing my thoughts this wasn't my favorite nor did I hate it.

A disappointing end.... I knew going into this book that there would be tragedies. But this book should have went on further. We as readers were left with all the characters we’ve come to love not knowing how they moved on in their lives. There’s leaving room for imagination and then just ending a story without any resolution. Why write love stories if you are going to leave the characters devastated and never telling your audience if their “love” was enough. Overall very disappointing and would be nice to have a resolution to the Maddox brothers instead of feeling like I read all these books for nothing.

Emotional. A very emotional read. We are given a glimpse 10 years forward for the brothers. They experience real life issues like the rest of us. But have some added complications because of Travis and Thomas' chosen professions. A story filled with love, family, life, and heart ache.

No words.... Absolutely no words to describe this book, I've laughed, I've sobbed and hiccuped and cried, felt like my heart ripped out. You will think you've worked out the plot then boom there's a twist, you'll think you have it all worked out again then boom another twist!! Having read all the books from beautiful disaster up to now, I've become so emotionally invested in this family like they're real (don't try to tell me differently) they've made me laugh, made my heart hurt and this book was no exception, another beautifully written book, I'm hoping and praying for more of the Maddox family, thank you Jamie xxx

3.5 stars. Ok so I have loved this series. I look forward to reading anything in it! But I thought this final book went a little off the rails. I loved the fact we got to catch up with all the couples again, but I just thought the story line was a bit extreme. I did struggle a bit with remembering which head I was in and had to keep flipping back to the start of each chapter to remind myself... I didn't really feel as though the story was closed out very well. I still need Falyns take, and although I believe in the afterlife somewhat I thought Jims perspective was a bit too much!! Although I enjoyed it, it pains me to say... I didn't love it! But if you have read the rest of the series then you should read this final instalment! Even if it doesn't really give the series the closure I was hoping for... 😥

Mixed emotions. I'm not really sure how I feel after reading this last book. This series has been my all time favourite read, I have read them all at least twice! I was really excited to read this one and see where all their lives have taken them over the years, but it was really quite confusing and I found myself quite a few times flicking to the top of the chapter to see whose head I was in. The last chapter was a joke and I didn't even finish reading it, quite disappointing really. If you are a fan of the series definitely read it, it is worth the read. It's just not up to the standard of her normal writing.

Well... I honestly can't believe I am saying this, Abby's attitude has ruined so much for me. I think I kind of hate her now. Actually, a majority of the wives turned into bit#*es.

Disappointed. I have read and loved all the previous stories in this series. I wanted to like this one but I was left annoyed and wanting more when it came to the end of this story. There where also storyline inconsistency that I found annoying. Not happy at all.

Beautiful Ending. Well what is left to say Jamie has outdone herself yet again. I remember reading Beautiful Disaster for the first time and just falling in love and then again in every book since. I have cried and laughed and enjoy these books so much that I'm shattered the series has come to an end but what an end it was. Not one unfinished story, it just was amazing. Thank you Jamie for bringing us these books. I look forward to reading what you have in store for us next.

Best one yet. Beautifully written, loved how it covered everyone's POV and tied up so many loose ends about the characters' futures whilst creating possible plots for other books. I'd have to say this was my favourite book from the series so far, as sad/happy/relieved/heartbroken I was throughout, it all happened to make the story stronger.

wholy tears. I read the whole series in 2 weeks! i was hooked straight away and what a way to end it. Not my favourite of the 9 but i still really enjoed it. That last chapter had me reaching for the tissues big time. Cant wait to read more from jamie mcguire.

Heartbreakingly good!!. This book takes you on one heck of an emotional roller coaster. Each chapter is relayed through the eyes of a different character, which is brilliant for the ending of a series. It allows you to reconnect with all the characters and see where the years have taken them. The whole book had me balling my eyes out and the ending was just heart wrenching, but a perfect way to end a perfect series. Well done!!

A beautiful funeral. Worst book I have ever read. There are too many characters to even try and keep track of. First time I have ever written a review and had to so maybe I can keep one person from wasting their money.

BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL. THIS BOOK WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. IT BREAKS YOUR HEART IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WAY, AND THEN COMPLETELY STITCHES UP THOSE REMAINING PIECES WITH AN ENDING THAT WILL NOT LEAVE YOU WITH A DRY EYE. MCGUIRE HAS DONE IT AGAIN.

It seemed so arbitrary after everything the characters went through and it seemed rushed and unnecessary. Nearly everything else about the book was awesome but so disappointed with the sloppy ending

Don't read unless you have read the others first unlike kombey (person who read this first and gave a bad review because they read the LAST book of the series. But everything is amazing. I read each book in a day, I couldn't put them down! I need a Maddox ❤️
