Can’t wait for more!. I’m intrigued, I’m looking forward to the next book. This was a novella leading to the next book. I can’t wait, I already fell in love with these characters. Like typical Nana Malone fashion, she left me hooked and wanting more.

Lach and Saff. What a fantastic beginning to Lach and Saff’s story. He seems to be a keeper, a real good guy. Who is after him and what do they want? Being in the line of work that Saff is, can she save him? Anxiously awaiting the next book!

Good beginning. A really good beginning to a series that I know will be superb after all it’s Nana Malone. Lachlan and Saffron are going to provide a multitude of fireworks. In this one the stage has been set for a fun filled roller coaster ride. I love the sexy times as well as the beginning of a mystery. Until next time y’all happy reading.

Just the beginning of a new exciting series!. The Heir is just a teaser for what is coming next in The King, book two in the Gentleman Rouge series, since we are left with a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to find out what comes next! Saffron Abott and Lachlan King have an immediate connection and enjoy one amazing night together. However, the next morning everything changes for both of them. I am so excited for this new series and to find out more about all the complex characters that have been introduced because it is easy to see that these stories are going to be page turners and will carry secrets that I can’t wait to be revealed.

A story without an end. This was not a standalone read. Sadly it left you hanging in the author’s hopes you’d pay $4.99 to continue the story. Who knows how many more books to pay for before reaching the happy ending! I would have given it 5 stars as it kept you intrigued and totally into the story although it ended without an end. It left me totally unsatisfied. I wish the author had cared for me as his reader as much as using this unfinished story to simply plant a hook and try to reel me in to buy more books.

Fantastic. What a way to whet the appetite for well written entertainment! I loved this tantalizing hint and cannot wait to read the next book. I loved it.

Hotter than a firecracker!!. The Heir is the start of a new series for Ms. Malone, and I thought her royals were insane, this is already hotter than a desert in the Summer!!!! Saffron and Lachlan are combustible together!!!! I can’t wait to dive deeper in to both of their stories! With this prequel/novella, the stage as been set for intrigue and action! I didn’t realize that I needed some action sequences with my romance until Nana Malone and her wild imagination!! Who is Saffron? Is there a connection between her occupation and Lachlan? Who are the Rouges? So many questions! I am impatiently waiting for The King!

Intriguing Introduction (4.5⭐️). I like this little taste of Saffron and Lachlan’s story. It has the perfect combination of steam, action and suspense to keep you captivated. It ends on a delicious cliffhanger that has me excited to find out more. I can’t wait for the next book.

The Heir. It wasn’t very good it left a cliff hanger and wasn’t very long and also left out a lot of detail.

It’s okay. Not quite up to the usual the author’s usual standard. It’s not bad, but there are way too many plot points left unresolved, even as an opener for the subsequent novel. Did not entice me enough to want to continue with the series

The Heir….New Book Boyfriend Alert. So most of all my Nana Malone reviews start of by claiming the male the lead as my book boyfriend and this one will be no different. Forget everything I have ever told you Lachlan King IS EVERYTHING TO ME! He’s my Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Henry Cavill, and more rolled up into a neat little package of book boyfriend and I must have him! Shout out to my female lead Saffron. I can’t wait to see where the story goes cause I was ready to tussle after that cliffhanger ending. Next up in the King! I am ready to lose myself in this new world of intrigue and you will as well. Intriguing!. This is the first book in the Gentlemen Rogues series. Wow! I loved it! This is an excellent start to the series. Lachlan and Saffron's story is intriguing. They share a sizzling hot chemistry. The story ends with a suspenseful cliffhanger. Looking forward to reading The King, the next book in the series.
