Wow!. I wanted to hate this book, but ended up falling in love with it! I couldn't put it down and now I'm missing it already! Molly you never cease to amaze me with your writing talent! Recommend for the Molly lovers and anyone who loves a good book!

Eh!. I wanted to like this book but there was no believe to it. It is like the Cinderella’s of “slave” stories. He doesn’t punish her and she seems to get over her fiancé extremely quickly and fall in love with the “bad guy” who doesn’t do anything bad. I think at one point she tries to enlist help and gets caught and he leaves her alone for a couple days. The characters don’t ever seem to progress which makes it very dull to read.

AMAZING!. I could feel the emotion and suspense through her words! Highly recommend!

Molly McAdams Out Did Herself. I have been a fan of Molly McAdams for a few years now. I have read all of her books. When a new one comes out I'm so excited to get my hands on it. Blackbird is not like anything Molly McAdams has written before. She covers a subject that is not often spoken about but we all know it's happening. For the first few chapters of the book I honestly thought of the movie Kiss the Girls. Scenes from the movie kept flashing through my mind. Then as I went further into the story I stopped thinking of that movie and started really seeing these characters and their story. Even though this book has a darker side to it. It is still a beautiful love story. Briar has a mind set that I think most of us have which is you hear about these things happening around the world and you think oh that will never happen to me. Then it does happen to Briar. And she is in for a world wind of what to do and how to survive. And she also starts discovering who she is in the midst of it all. Lucas is dark and scary and yet there is something about him that you are drawn to from the moment you meet him. This is definitely a piece of work you do not want to miss from Molly McAdams! I'm thrilled for more of this series. This is a side of Molly we haven't seen and it just goes to show she can probably write just about anything and it still be amazing and captures her fans and I'm sure this book will bring in a new set of fans as well.

Shocked. The way this book and her book Deceiving Lies mesh together is insanity. It blew my mind completely because while reading this in certain parts you’re like “wow, this seems a little too familiar”. And then you piece it together slowly. I would have never understood the connection had I not have read that series first. Well done Molly, well done.

Not doing it for me. By the 3rd or 4th time she saw him she was attracted to him and in love with him within 2 months of him buying her. Many days during that time she never even saw him. I just didn't feel the emotion. Why did she love him? Because he was "hot"? It was really silly. The whole story was kind of rushed with no emotion. And if your looking for erotic writing don't bother reading this. That didn't seem to be important to this author. Lastly, the whole bit about her singing, hence the title of the book. She sings one line of a Beatles song over and over. I'm being generous with 3 stars.

Shocked. I have to admit I had a really hard time connecting to this one in the beginning but as soon she threw that curve ball in there I was hooked. I finally felt that connection I get with all her other books! I was in shock, I never saw it coming! I had to read that page over and over because I just couldn’t believe it was true! This is the story I have been waiting for (since I have read ALL her books prior). Great job in making your readers feel so connected to the characters!

WOW. Just wow!. I had no idea what to expect with this book, but it was so much more!! This is unlike anything Molly has written before. a little darker, but amazing!!!

A MUST READ!!!!. THIS BOOK!!! I finished this book days ago and I still can't get it out of my head. And I still have no clue how to review it. I don't think my words will be enough. We all know what to expect from a Molly McAdams read. Ugly cries, broken hearts, anger and then for the most part she will piece us back together word by beautiful word. But then she goes and gives us this! What the H*LL just happened?!?!?! BLACKBIRD is so different then anything she has written thus far. And I think it is some of her best work yet!! (And trust me I know because I have read all her books) Molly still gives us the ugly cries, broken hearts and so much anger. And she will still piece you back together word by beautiful word. This book has some dark elements and you will think WTH!! But trust me there is so much more to this story then you think. I couldn't put it down I was up until all hours into the night and early morning reading because I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen next. You will literally feel all the feels in this book from the hairs standing on end to the that punch to the gut in the pit of your stomach. GAH!!! I'm going to stop here before I can't stop and start giving things away. This is a MUST read!!!! I knew there was a dark side in you Molly McAdams! Thank you for finally letting it out and giving us Briar and Lucas's story. *bows at feet* It is scary that this does happen in our world and that it's not just in books. Be active with your children no matter what age. Know where they are, who their with and what they're doing. Open that communication and I swear they will hear you.

Ecstatically Speechless!!!. Oh my gosh!!!! My mind is blown... Molly has thrown me for one of the biggest loops that an author can with this new book of hers!!! I just can't even!!! This book and connection are what every reader lives for!!! Thank you for loving your readers enough to write this story!

Good. Not my favorite of hers, but it’s a good book. I wanted to hate it because of how it began, but I ended up enjoying it.

Too dramatic. Every line is written with too much emotional drama, so I skipped thru much of the book. Why does the author think readers are entertained with such pettiness. Wish he would’ve give the sexual scenes better detail like she did the rest of the book. I was disappointed to say the least.
