A great read is an understatement!. Nora never disappoints!! The story strolls then races then gently drops you off a cliff at the end! I love it and hate it at the same time!

Great history story. If you like strong women and antiques with a hint of ghosts then this book is for you.

Is there a Book 2 ?. Come on Nora Roberts, what gives. I was so engrossed with this book, could not put it down, only to discover there is NO ENDING to this book. You are left wondering what happened. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Disappointing. It was a fun read, but the ending was very disappointing. Nora Roberts just left the reader in the lurch. It was like she just stopped and decided not to finish the story. The author did not leave you wanting more with a teaser, the story just ended. I thought I was missing a final chapter…too bad!

Bad ending. The ending is horrible actually no ending no resolution….will never read this author again.

Best ever!. My favorite Nora Roberts book is always the one I just finished reading. I’ve read this one twice already. Guess I’ll take a breath before reading it again. Unfailingly crafted with heart, adventure, humor and wisdoms, meticulously bound between the covers.

Simply magical. Nora Roberts never fails to draw you in and leave you wanting more!

Ghosts, really?. I kept hoping this book would reveal an actual mystery where an actual person was haunting the manor. Many don’t believe in ghosts so the book seemed like a fairy tale instead of literature.

The inheritance. Absolutely loved this book. Not the ending, needs a second sequel. Have to know what happened. Please continue the story!!

The Inheritence. Usually even books with sequels are stand alone. Not this one. I’m so upset I’ll be darned if I buy more.

Epic haunting. This is a great book! Nora’s writing is so vivid in this book, you feel like you are in this house, filled with ghosts, good and evil, and all that happens. The abrupt ending has me worried that there isn’t another book to follow and finish the story.

Nora is the GOAT!. But, why did I read this book??? And now have to wait for the next one! Nora is one of the best - if not THE BEST - author of our time! She has incredible ability in blending several styles of writing in one book. I’m always enthralled when I open a book of hers and this one is no different. Now, I wait for book 2.

Inheritance. Loved it! The twist & turns, the unknown, the good, the bad and the ugly! Amazing, Nora hits another home-run! Now I need to wait for #2!!!! Ahhhh.

Inheritance is great . She is living her family’s sad past. Beautifully written! Descriptive but not so detailed that you get lost in them. Suspenseful but not a horror story that gives you nightmares. The ending: wow! Need the next one now. Please.

I’d wait if I were you. It’s honestly not worth the buy right now. With the way she’s writing this particular series it’s better to wait until all three of the books have been released. This way you can read a complete story. Also you’ll have the bonus of them being cheaper. Each book is going to take about a year to publish according to her website. Why pay $15 for an e-book when you’re not gonna be able to complete the story for three years just wait for them to go on sale save yourself the money and the hassle and the frustration.

terrible ending, don’t waste your time or money. Read through this ridiculous premise of a book, wanted to see how it would resolve. After 528 pages no resolve at all. Never reading a Nora Robert’s book again.

Great read. I’ve been reading Nora since her first book. This novel reminds me of all those original books I couldn’t put down. The kind that you stay up reading even when you have to work the next day.

Classic Strong Creative Women with Classy Men. The haunted house and 200 year legacy creates interesting intrigue as the back drop for budding romance. Lots left undiscovered makes this next trilogy fun to anticipate reading.

Terrible ending…... I loved everything about the read until the ending. If there is no sequel, I will chalk it up to complete disappointment. Never have I felt this way about a Nora Roberts book. Save your money!

Captivating from the first chapter. As always an awesome read.

Slow & predictable. The story seems to just go in circles. Not much character development. NOT Her best work.

The uncanny thing was that you discovered that your father had drawn pictures of this house and brother, despite never having seen or been aware of his connection to either. Would you pack up your belongings, rent your house, and move from Boston to a small town in Maine to live in a haunted mansion which had been in your family for generations? In Inheritance by Nora Robert’s, that is exactly what Sonya MacTavish did. This is the first book in The Lost Bride Trilogy and is expertly written in the author’s distinctively playful style. This is a story of self-discovery and romance with a paranormal twist. There is a mystery to solve to break a family curse as well as plenty of ghosts, both friendly and hostile. The story ends in a cliffhanger which definitely entices the reader to anticipate the release of the next book in the trilogy. I definitely recommend this book for lovers of romance and paranormal/fantasy stories. I am voluntarily submitting this honest review after reading an advanced complementary copy of this novel thanks to Netgalley and St. Martin’s Press.

Not Nora’s Best Work but Entertaining Enough. I usually love her trilogies but this one was weak and lacked the deep character development that Nora usually produces. Interesting story but not gripping. I’ll read the next 2, hopefully they’re more developed.

Lovely new trilogy. This is was a fun book. Written differently from most NR books but its essence is similar. Worth the read.

This book literally just stops. Good book and intriguing story, if a bit corny at times. But be forewarned it just ends abruptly. I realize it’s a trilogy but her other trilogies at least have a resolution to the smaller story. This one doesn’t.

Spoooky. So good and scary enough I look over my shoulders. Kept me interested the whole time. I can’t wait for the next one.

1of 3. Wonderful beginning

Great book!. Mysterious, draws and keeps your attention, with a splash of love and sex. Not like her usual trilogies that follow one book per person and have way more sex scenes; this book focuses on the storyline completely. I can’t wait for the next book!

The most unfulfilling ending ever.. Good storyline, good characters, got a little slow about halfway through, and then abruptly ended with no conclusion. The sequel isn’t supposed to come out for another year, at which point, I will have forgotten all about this one. This formula works for a mini series when the next episode comes out in a week… It does not work for a book! At least not for me.
