Entertaining!. Another fun, quick read!!

Not again!. Once again Sandford has written a darned near perfect book. The only things truly wrong about his books are that they just don’t last long enough and are way too far apart! That *#++#* Sandford😉

Tedious. I have enjoyed many earlier books centered on Virgil Flowers. This is by far the worst book in the series with a dull predictable plot and a very charmless Virgil. I hope Sandford gets back on track with next installment. I couldn’t finish this one.

That F—— Flowers. Once again Mr. Sandford (Camp) has Given me an E ticket- ride. Virgil Flowers ,the fine citizens of Trippton Mn. And hot dam if we did not arrive at climatic conclusion. It was fun i am not disappointed, and i will continue to read and buy all the efforts of John Sanford in the continuing sagas of Virgil, Lucas, and a awesome variety of characters that may or. Deep Freeze. Not the best book I read of John’s but still a good read with several funny lines. Nice summer read. Look forward to the next Flowers book.

A Sandford Best. I have read them all. This novel has depth and dimension, and an excellent plot. Great character development...people you love, people you hate, people you dislike then almost like. Wealth competition in a small town. A few solid marriages, a few creeps. And the story is entertaining from start to finish. Sandford does it again. Rush out and buy this book!

Deep Freeze, High Cost. I have bought every John Sandford novel in the iPad format since I got my first iPad. Can’t do this one at $18.99. Kindle is only $14.99, and I’ve never paid this much for an electronic book, with no explanation why. Almost think this is a mistake, but I want to read it so Amazon/Kindle it will be

Virgil Flowers. Could not put this book down and did not want it to end. I cannot wait for the next book.

Return to Trippton. I'm an unabashed fan of the Prey books and the novels featuring Virgil "that f#*%in'" Flowers. Of all those books my favourite is Deadline, the Flowers' novel from a couple years back. This one is not a sequel but is set in the same town and reunites Virgil with Johnson Johnson, Clarice, Sheriff Purdy and other assorted citizens of the small in the Driftless Area. This novel is not as complicated as Deadline though the unexpected twist with first victim is interesting. It has the feel of one that was written quickly, perhaps because the plot is less convoluted. There's still the signature dialog gems which make reading these novels so enjoyable. Nobody writes better small talk conversation between characters than Sandford. The scene after the doctor, his wife and two drunk vigilantes have their encounter at the physicians house is a great example. Gave me a new respect for closet rods. Bottom line is that if your a fan, you'll enjoy this. If your just coming to these books it's a quick read and should make you look for the earlier books.

Deep Freeze. Each Virgil Flowers book leads me to think the next in the series will disappoint me. Never happens, and I continue to lose sleep unwilling to stop reading until the last fast paced page.

Page Turner. Definitely worth the money. A great thriller mixed with a little humor. I read this book in a 24-hour period...It was that good.

More small town Minnesota hijinks. Virgil Flowers is at it again... Another good fast, funny, read about small time criminals with big time problems. Highly Recommended.

Deep Freeze. I & friends had previously sworn off Virgil. However, I read this & enjoyed it. Prefer Lucas as a character.

DLP. Pretty slow and boring. I was really disappointed.

WWVFD. What would Virgil Flowers do. I have been a prey fan for a while and about a year ago I read the Virgil books and the Kidd books. I think Virgil has become my favorite character of any book I have read. I highly recommend this entire series. The read ranks as high or higher than Crais, Connelly, or Child. I wish the author would write faster!! Thanks for creating Virgil!
