Amazing book. Jeff Kinney is lit like one of the best author’s of our generation (gen z) and his books are not both realistic and relatable, but they are hilarious. Love it.

I love diary of a wimpy kid because I have the whole collection of the books and if I get bored of reading 1 book then I read the diary of a wimpy kid book that wasn’t read for a long time by me. Filled with good adventures and fun. Diary of a wimpy kid The Getaway was a book that i could read through the pages and figure out and exprience what Greg Haffley is going through with his tramauitzing road trip to a tropical island filled with people and pools, fun, a naked island!, turtle riding, dolphins and singing. All those things Greg has to face through and reading this book was entertaining and fun at the same time everytime i read this book i enjoyed it because there's something that i never read in.

Here are my thoughts.. Ok,so Greg is complaining about being DRAGGED to an exotic island. Then he hates his brothers cause they want to go to the beach. Not a good start. But what really changed this book from 4 ⭐️ to one ⭐️was when they talked about Greg trying to peek into the ladies showering room. I don’t care that he saw the men’s bathroom! It gives boys the idea to peek into the girls shower room at school. Also, you can’t read this book two times because there is only one plot. And why again did the strip in a restaurant?
