A Wonderful Book!. I enjoyed this book immensely. Everyone should read it.

Talk about a white wash. The author white washes Saint Camilla and demonizes Diana. It’s unfortunate that the author was unable to critique Diana, Charles and Camilla authentically.

So Refreshing. It was refreshing to read a decent book about The Duchess--her healthy upbringing in a loving family; her quiet interest in unglamorous causes; and her unconditional love and support for Charles. Her seamless ability to fulfill her daunting role is very impressive--especially in the face of hateful scrutiny and bitter attacks. Camilla is mature, steady and well-balanced. She will make an excellent Queen.

Did Charles pay for this?. This is thiny veiled propaganda. Pennny Junor has always favored Prince Charles, but this was beyond the pale. I’m sure Camilla has some good qualities, just as I’m sure Prince Charles does. We’re all a mixed bag. But trying to elevate her to near perfection while minimizing the damage that this affair did to all concerned, then referring to their blissful marriage as only being interrupted only by the “occasional cloud of Diana’s memory” (paraphrased) was just sickening. The woman died leaving two children motherless, that’s hardly an “occasionaly cloud” that inconveniences their happiness. Diana had her demons, and made her share of mistakes, but no amount of treacly prose could ever make Camilla anything close to Diana

Made her almost Goddess. Writer made her a goddess. I like Camilla too, but come on, she is a human being with good and bad sides both. Biography means showing us a real person not a goddess, because we all know, it is not true. Waste of money.
