Amazing!!. This book blew me away! Every page was filled with endless action, and is very fast paced. This duology definitely took there places as some of my favorite books of all time!

Kickass female pirates. This was a swashbuckling adventure! Just like the first one, I loved this! I loved all of the kickass female pirates, and Alosa especially! As daughter of both the Pirate King, and The Siren Queen, this swaggering red head makes a formidable opponent! Betrayed by her father’s secret, she races with her crew to find the hidden treasure to overthrow him and take her place as the Pirate Queen! Lots of action, adventure and romance! A fast paced, exciting read!! I couldn’t put it down. Great characters and storyline and fabulous attention to details! This author is definitely on my favorites list!

Nope!. DNF @ over halfway through this book. Ugh, where do I start. . . I’ll start out with the positive I guess. Pirates! The concept was great and I was excited about reading this one. I had trouble with the characters most of them just didn’t resonate with me. The main character I didn’t even like. Then by the middle of the book the MC and her love interest are in a heated battle, fighting for lives but somehow manage to have a conversation. Ludicrous! Let’s be a little realistic shall we.

Good. It was good, I liked the concept of sirens and pirates a lot, interesting lots of action. Overall I’d say 4 stars. Didn’t really SHINE like some books do, but it was pretty good.
