Not a good book. Sorry, but I could not finish the book. The story has potential but the writing did not make sense at all. I tried very hard to like the hero and heroine but their thoughts, actions and conversations are very unrealistic and contradictory. Over the top but in the wrong way. Two stars, because the story has potential. But I will not finish it and delete this book.

Quirky. This is a rom-com about a quirky dog rescuer who chains herself to the door of a pet store that is about to open and sell designer dogs.

There’s more love with pets in the mix.. A wonderful story. Warm characters and loved the commitment to care for dogs. What a surprise twist on the evil that comes from a childhood best friend. I never saw that coming. 5 Stars!

She’s for the dogs, he’s for the money. Yessi lives for rescuing dogs that are scheduled to be euthanized because no one seems to want them. She understands their situation because she grew up in foster care with no one wanting her. Preston is a former Marine who is now trying to capitalize on the fame from a sex tape that was leaked to social media. He and his friend, Hugh are getting ready to open a high end doggie boutique. After a particularly emotional rescue, Yessi comes upon Preston’s store front and decides to handcuff herself to the front door. The rest of the book is about Yessi trying to convince Preston that handling rescue dogs is better than selling pure breed puppies while trying not to lose her heart. Throw in a couple of zany friends, a man whose delusional and several lovable dogs and you have a delightful page turner that just might melt your heart. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are strictly my own.

Great Story. He is a playboy who needs an investor and she sees his business as bad for the dogs that are sheltered. Yessenia disagrees in everything Preston stands for but he needs help obtaining an investor. He strikes a deal with her and if they succeed he will transform his store now all she has to worry about is her heart getting trapped by the man. This story is filled with lots of drama and is guaranteed to keep you turning the pages until the last one. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Cute quick steamy read. This was a quick insta-lust read with lots of wacky characters and situations. The characters were over the top in their convictions, but that just led to the funny and horrible situations they found themselves in. Opening his eyes. In the beginning of this book, I did not like the main characters, thought Preston was full of himself and Yessi, was a bit too aggressive. As I got more into the book, I liked how the characters were further developed and how each taught the other. This was a great storyline and wonderful cause in teaching the importance of adopting shelter dogs. I was very pleased with this book and the many supporting characters that offered this storyline to have more facets than originally thought. Looking forward to seeing more from this author. I am voluntarily leaving a review for this book that I received free.

Conflict and Romance. Doggy Style is a cute romantic comedy between Yessi, who rescues dogs in animal shelter situation, and Preston, who opens up a puppy pet store much to her chagrin. Their conflict swiftly turns to.strong attraction to one another. This is a quick read when you have limited time to enjoy a romance.
