Excellent. I couldn’t put it down. Well written, engaging with a surprising end. Best book I’ve read in a while.

Excellent read. I read this book in a couple days. I was intrigued earl on even though I didn’t see all the pieces falling into place until the last third of the book, give or take. When I began, I couldn’t have fathomed the twists and turns I would take along with the author. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent Read!. I'm an avid reader, love psychological suspense and I couldn't put this one down! I can't wait to read more from this Author, I loved the time period, the narrative told from different perspectives in different perspectives and each of them shaped over about 14 years. This one is a thriller, yet will also tug at your emotions. You have to remind yourself what time period you're dealing with and what each character is facing. I read a lot of books, and review on Goodreads as Brandie Lea, I rarely leave reviews in IBooks but felt compelled to do so with this one. Don't miss this rare treat.

Very interesting. It was a little slow at first but then it got my curiosity stirred, in the end it was a very good book.

Kennedy is debating Nixon, and new mother Angie Glass receives a phone call from her husband’s niece Ruby that changes the way things will be from then on. Ruby’s Mother Silja is missing, and her father has committed suicide. Angie, not much older than Ruby herself, accompanies Paul who, along with young PJ, goes to New York State to rescue his late brother’s daughter. What Angie learns will change how she understands her marriage and just how much she doesn’t know. I was one of the zillions of people who read and loved Swanson’s first book, and this, her sophomore attempt proves The Bookseller wasn’t a fluke. Told mostly through well drawn intelligent characters, The Glass Forest is the first book of 2018 I read in two sittings. It grabs you and compels you not to put it down until you are done. And, a slight “warning”: the book deals with things that might be seen by some as triggers. Swanson deals with some contemporary issues seen through a story set in post World War America. The story is strung tightly between the members of the Glass family, and you might wonder if you ever really know the truth. I highly recommend this read. 5/5

The Glass Forest. Fantastic page turner. Wonderful characters, gripping plot line - I found myself racing chapter to chapter afraid of what was coming next.
