Just **okay**. Not very well written or interesting. Too repetitive (okay, we know you’re Jewish and you like David Copperfield). His obsession with counting pills became an obsession with mentioning the number of pills in the book (okay, we know it was up to 60 a day). There are so many other good books/memoirs about addiction. Borrow from the library or friend. Don’t spend money on this book and I would really think twice about spending your time on it either.
Powerful. This book was real and incredible. I could feel what he was feeling and I’m glad he shared his story.
Okay.. Funny at times, humble at times, although overall not a very powerful story of addiction. Lacks depth and the ending is weak and abrupt. Much better stories on addiction out there.
