A good read. This was a new author to me and I am not sure why. When Georgia Kentley breaks up with her boyfriend over Christmas she is anxious to return to her duties as a police officer. However returning to work is not all she expected, when her new boss DCI Walker Trent turns out to be a pain in the proverbial. Working in a male dominated job, Georgia is fed up with having to prove herself time and again.DCI Trent is no different, that is until Georgia’s past comes back to haunt her and innocent lives are lost.Georgia is stubborn and doesn’t want anyone else to get hurt; she hasn’t counted on Walker’s determination. Inescapable Fate was well written with suspense, intrigue and mystery surrounding the main characters with romance as well. The action and danger are present and the story line had me engrossed. Be prepared Inescapable Fate ends on a cliff hanger and I cannot wait to see how the story pans out.

Great Read. Hanleigh Bradley is a new author to me but after reading Inescapable Fate I certainly will be looking at other books by her. Georgia Kentley breaks up with her long term boyfriend in the worst possible way, over Christmas dinner with his and her parents sitting at the table, the last thing she expected him to say was it’s over and then walk out the door and leave her to deal with both sets of parents, she can’t wait to get back to work she on December 27th and try and get her life back to some sort of normality but normality is not on the cards for Georgia she finds she now has a new boss to deal with, Walker Trent. DCI Trent doesn’t seem to understand that a young attractive woman can hold her own with the other CID male officers and it doesn’t get any easier when Georgia who has always been accident prone breaks her arm...... what follows is two people falling for each other but both unsure if lines can or should be crossed........... I really enjoyed this book, the witty banter had me laughing out loud, the sizzling chemistry had me fanning myself and the story was a real page turner, it also has characters you can relate too and I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.
