Alex. Once again Kendall delivers a modern tale filled with such sweet and sexy moments that it takes you completely by surprise. Alexei (Alex) who is a good guy seemingly rescues a damsel in distress and it turn into so much more. Ryleigh is a young woman doing everything she can to makes ends meet when her roommate leaves her with a surprise she wasn’t even ready for. This dynamic pair couldn’t be any more words apart but together their a force to be reckoned with. I love this delightful read and you will too!!!!

Nice. Good clean characters and a great happy ending. Love a male lead who is real and didn’t have to be a majorly reformed bad boy. Very sweet and nicely written story.

Must Read. We catch a glimpse of Alex(Alexei) in Dear Jane, and I wasn’t sure I would like him all that much, but my initial reaction was wrong. Alexei...I absolutely LOVED him. Talk about make your ovaries explode!! I could not put Finding Alexei down once I started. I loved watching Alexei and Ryleigh’s story unfold. This is a MUST read and Kendall did a fantastic job with their story!!

5,000 sweetness points for Finding Alexei. Kendall Ryan gets about 5,000 sweetness points for Finding Alexei! Alexei swoops into Ryleigh’s life unexpectedly, but exactly when she needs him. Even though she’s reluctant to admit that. She has a not so glamorous job, and a baby girl who isn’t hers to take care of. Alexei is supposed to be keeping his head low, after getting into a bit of trouble at work, but when he sees Ryleigh, he gets a vibe that she’s worth any trouble she may possibly bring. So basically in this story you have a rich athlete, Alexei, who is alpha and bossy, but is also sweet and understanding. Where is that combo frowned upon? Nowhere in my world. I loved Alexei and spent most of this book with heart eyes for the dude. Ryleigh is a heroine who is independent and wants to keep that independence, but also melts a bit when Alexei shows how much he is willing to help out with her and Ella. She is taking care of a baby who belongs to someone she didn’t even know very well, and to me that is the sign of a heroine deserving of all the amazing things Alexei is willing to give. This story truly ends up being a feel good read. It’s a quick read, and the romance is hesitant at first, but moves pretty quickly. Finding Alexei made me emotional. It made me smile. It made me a little hot and bothered. I loved the characters. I loved their story, and the ending. ALL THE SWOONS. All in all a great read, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick feel good romance, that isn’t conventionally realistic, but it’s so good that you won’t care!! 5 *Fans self * stars. Man, I feel like a waited for this book forever. I loved the first 2-4 chapters and being the teaser, hook, line, sinker. Loved it. So... when it finally did come out... worth the wait! I loved this storyline. I like the down on her luck and the hottest, most chivalrous man ever. (But has a very dirty mouth). This book is a quick read with awesome character development, strong plot, hot scenes, and a HEA. What’s not to love!?

An Enjoyable Read!. I enjoyed Finding Alexei. It was a fast paced read with a lot happening right away. I liked the storyline and how different it was, it made it interesting. Alexei is a very caring guy. He's really sweet to Ryleigh and is so cute with Ella; he really is a baby-whisperer. Ryleigh has a good head on her shoulders and is a strong, determined girl. She works hard for what she has and doesn't want to just take from others and I respect that. Even though their relationship develops really fast you can tell they really care for each other and make each other happy. I liked the other couples mentioned throughout the book and their updates on life, that made me happy.

Fast, sweet read. I had grabby hands for this book the moment Kendall Ryan announced it. I mean, a football romance AND a baby? Yep, sign me up please. This book was a quick read that was sweet while having a healthy dose of heat in it, too. Alexei and Ryleigh meet in a most unconventional way-but it works. It works because it shows the character of these two right off the bat. They're both strong and stubborn. I liked watching Alexei show Ryleigh she could count on him and still be independent at the same time. He won me over from the start so I championed him winning her, too. There is a sweetness to this story, but like I said there is definitely heat. You can feel the attraction between these two characters right away and I definitely believed in it. I liked that there was a bit of hesitance on Ryleigh's part, that she didn't just immediately fall at Alexei's feet. I also love that she wasn't impressed with his fame whatsoever. The connection between them was strong and I loved watching them explore it. This was a quick read for me and the plot moved well. The writing was well done as always and the story just flowed along the pages. I'll say that this epilogue was one of my favorites as well. I enjoyed this title and would absolutely recommend it.

Finding Alexei is EVERYTHING!l. I absolutely adore Kendall Ryan and Finding Alexei is a perfect example of why that is!! Alexei is complete perfection with swoon for days & Ryleigh is a breath of fresh air! Their chemistry was so strong it was almost palpable. A word of WARNING: once you start it, you won’t be able to stop until you’ve read the entire book, so be prepared!

Extremely Underdeveloped. I agree with the other reviewer who commented on the shallowness of the characters, and I’d go a step further and say the entire book lacked depth. This had the potential to become a beautiful, thoughtful, complex story on what makes a family and overcoming hardships, but all of the scenes seemed as though they were cut off too quickly and we are given zero history of the characters apart from a couple of basics, like Ryleigh’s parents are dead and Alexei’s family is Russian (but neither of these contribute anything to the story, except for the fact that Ryleigh has to fend for herself). This book was simply poorly executed. :(

I absolutely loved him. From the beginning to the end. Sorry folks I choose him. He's MINE! No seriously this book was just fantastic. I loved Ryleigh. She was such a good h. I loved how strong she was. She didn't want help, from anyone. She wanted to do things herself. That gets her a vote in my book. I really enjoyed Alexei and Ryleigh together. They had awesome chemistry. I can't remember a time where I've felt like dancing over a book. This one does. It makes me want to just up and just dance. I loved their relationship. I loved their interactions, their intimate moments. I don't believe there is anything not to love. I am the happiest girl right now. Way to go Kendall Ryan, you wrote a masterpiece!

Wow!!!. I'm speechless! Every time I read another Kendall Ryan book, I'm in love all over again! This is the 4th book of hers I've read and I'm obsessed! She's my favorite author and if you don't read this book, you're missing out completely and I feel sorry for you!!

Finding Alexia. Beautiful sexy in an heated discussion on the windy street in Chicago with a larger overpowering man, her coat not warm enough but her chemistry is off the charts. Sexy professional football’s alpha line backer Alex steps up to rescue the young women in distress. That’s when these two characters first collide. Proud independent Ryleigh doesn’t believe she needs rescued but in reality she does. Ryleigh has no ride and needs to get home to a baby that isn’t hers. Ryleigh is proud and admittedly grateful that the handsome stranger steps in. He introduces his self as Alexia even though the only people who call him Alexia is his mom and sisters. It is here their story begins when Alexia eventuality takes the young lady and her baby to his home overnight. But a temporary overnight becomes more and this is their wickedly awesome story of love, laughter, death, life, trust and football. A five star read and a book I read in one setting and that I’ll read it again.

Loved it!. Kendall Ryan does it again. Another great book! Alexei and Ryleigh are such an interesting combo. Alexei just happens to be in the right place at the right time to find Ryleigh. But, surprise, Ryleigh is not alone. She has her ex-roommate’s two month old baby girl as well, and she is fairly clueless when it comes to babies. Good thing Alexei is the baby-whisperer. I loved Ryleigh’s independence and Alexei’s generosity. These two just clicked together. Even though there are cross-over characters from other books, this is a standalone. But I’m looking forward to whatever story Ms. Ryan comes up with next!

Shallow, inconsistent characters. I started off loving this book. Man goes out of his way to help a woman he’s inexplicably attracted to; who wouldn’t love it? However, the more I read, the more apparent it became how extremely shallow the characters are. We are given minimal background to understanding their motives. Then, the characters become inconsistent. The stubborn, independent heroin wouldn’t have just blatantly let the hero solve all her problems for her without a fight. Yet she did. I initially thought I would give this story a 5 star review, but it ended up being more like a 2. Great idea but the execution was flawed.

Oh Alexei. Oh how did I love Alexei?! Typically you think of the sports star as too cocky, overly confident and just not an attractive personality. Alexei is all that - sort of. He's cocky and confident, but in a way that's hot. And let's just say that I was a bigger fan of him than Ryleigh. This was a real story. It was a story that I could actually imagine happening and not finding it more of a fantasy. Plus in this book, there are some of other favorite Kendall Ryan characters. Not saying who, just some make some guest appearances. Definitely a book to read again - Alexei is just way too dang swoony! <3

Surprise!!. When Alex sees a girl getting hassled outside a topless bar, he is compelled to help her out. Ryleigh needs to get home to get her roommates baby. Her ride ditched her and when the imposing Alex offers her a ride she has no choice but to accept. Inventive use of the surprise baby trope. Alex was a sweet squishy alpha. Ryleigh is doing her best to get by. I liked how the relationship progressed naturally. A sweet and spicy read.

5 Unbelievable Stars!!. Finding Alexei has shot straight to the top on my list of favorite books by Kendall Ryan! Sexy and completely swoony football star? Check. Furiously independent and headstrong woman with a heart of gold? Check. A well-penned love story line that exudes sexual tension, undeniable chemistry, and a relationship founded on unconventional circumstances? Double check. It is books exactly like Finding Alexei that I love the most. It’s not just the romance aspect – although this book has plenty of fire – nor is it the compelling story line that hooks me. It’s the display of compassion and selflessness by one human being to another that truly warms my heart and bleeds into my soul. It’s how a person helps out another in a desperate time of need that illustrates there are still good people in this world. This book isn’t your conventional ‘damsel in distress’ romance. Quite the opposite, actually. It’s a type of story that blends together two people who, although living in completely different worlds, rely on and support each other no matter the obstacles or backgrounds. It’s a story that shows how a random act of kindness can change more than one life, and that love can overcome anything. By far and away, a definite must-read! 5 Stars!

Perfect!. Loved this book—really the whole series! Very hard to stop reading once you start. Ryleigh was so relatable and come on, the boy?!? Every woman’s night and shining armor dream!

Not the best of Kendall Ryan. This book had the potential to be better but it was too rushed. Girl meets guy on the first night and agrees to sleep over at his place with a baby in tow. Storylines was ridiculous!!!

Loved this book.. Really enjoyed the simple plot and lack of drama. Just a nice romantic read.

Loved the big man with a heart of gold. He’s bossy, moody, and overprotective and he was just what I needed to get me out a book slump. If you have read Dear Jane you would have already met Alex but that doesn’t mean you need to read that book to enjoy and quite possibly fall in love with Finding Alexei because this book is everything I have come to expect from the very talented Kendall Ryan and so much more. Alex Ivan is one of the hottest players in the NFL, he is at the top of his game as a linebacker for the Chicago Hawkes . Alex may be a force to be reckoned with on the field but he also has a heart of gold and when he sees a young woman outside a seedy topless bar being hassled he doesn’t think twice about going to her rescue...... Ryleigh is down on her luck she is trying to support herself and care for her ex-roommates 3 month old daughter who was abandoned when the roommate left town, but that doesn’t mean she needs a Knight in shinning Amour coming to her rescue she doesn’t accept help easily but will the big man with a heart of gold wear her down....... I loved Alex and Ryleigh’s journey, it’s a fun, sweet steamy read that’s low on angst and high on melt your heart moments. I laughed and I swooned as Alex took it upon himself to help out with baby Ella and I loved catching up with the gang from previous books about the Chicago Hawkes, if you love sports romance that’s low on angst then this is a must read and I will certainly be recommending it to who ever will listen to me.... looking forward to more from the NFL and Kendall Ryan.

Wonderfully heartwarming story!. This book had such a wonderfully heartwarming storyline that I couldn’t stop reading till I finished! Who knew Alex Ivan, linebacker, would have the biggest heart of a character you will ever meet?? He’s charming but also very selfless and a true testament to how he was raised to be the gentleman he truly is! When he meets Ryleigh, needless to say its in rather unfortunate circumstances only being that Ryleigh is really doing it tough and I think what eventuates is a beautiful love story! Ryleigh is a very independent woman striving to do her best the only way she knows how and I admired her alot! She is reluctant to accept help but does it due to her caring nature and for a little baby that came to be in her life! Who could blame her really! This is such a well written romance with so much heart, yours may break in two! I know mine certainly did! Swoonworthy Alex and alot if sighing was involved! I laughed, I felt compassion and thoroughly enjoyed this wonderfully written story!

Brilliant, loved it. 5 Star Review Finding Alexei by Kendall Ryan From the first chapter I was hooked; what a fantastic story. I loved Alexei and Ryleigh, both separately and together. Both the characters were so strong and from their first meeting you knew that these two were special and we were in for a great read. Helping her friend out by looking after her baby, Ryleigh is struggling to cope. Alexei is a knight in shining armour who sees a woman who needs help and doesn’t hesitate to offer it. I wellI and truly have a new book boyfriend, having totally fallen for Alexei. Ryleigh is strong, independent and determined not to be a burden. This book certainly tugged at the emotions and was at times an emotional rollercoaster of a read. I was riveted and had a hard time putting it down. I believe that this was the final book in this series of friends but I will be searching out the others to read ASAP. The writing was strong and this was such a fabulous read that I have no trouble recommending you one click; you won’t be disappointed.

It was ok but not very detailed. The story line is ok - it not very detailed in that these people don’t even communicate with each other at all - they just have sex. Kind of a simple read.

Amamazing. Oh my God!!!! What an amazing 6 star story that was read in one sitting and even then I wanted more. Alexei is a pro football player who meets someone but not any someone but one strong woman who’s down on her luck. She doesn’t want pity from him but she needs help. He is willing to give it no strings attached. Alexei was presented in an another story and I didn’t like him very much. In this story he’s an hero to Ryleigh. He steps up even if he doesn’t have too. And he doesn’t let up. I think this is her best storyline to date. I love the amazing characters that made me feel so much. The storyline was addicting and captivating. I may have swooned a time or two. Bottomline, this is a must read. Can safely be read as a standalone. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.

Finding Alexei. Normally I go high. Kendall is a favourite but the books are just too short. I get so hopeful which each new read that it will go a normal length but every time it falls short. The stories are always so bang on and Alexei was no different. The sex could have been more but some heat was there. It was a truly light hearted love story and showed how a woman faced with so much can find a match...and they go well together. I loved where he introduced her to his mother!! And I applaud her writing about a real life tragedy turning into something so much better. The bond that Alexei has to Ella is a high point in the story. There was plenty more that could of happened to make this a worthy length...like the birth of their baby! Ah, well that is what makes each author unique, your writing is never less than captivating.
