A good story but as in most of this author’s books, there’s a girlfriend or a fiancé or even a married woman who gets the boot, getting her heart broken, making the book ending bittersweet. You cheer for the protagonists, but feel sorry for the girl with the broken heart

Can Online Feelings Be Real?. Heading into Love Online, I really didn’t know what to expect; the blurb didn’t give too much away, so as Ryder’s side of the story began, I didn’t anticipate the true nature of Ryder and Eden’s online ‘relationship,’ and while I feel like that was Penelope Ward’s intention, it took me awhile to wrap my head around how this cam girl and cam john were connecting, and even after their feelings began to turn into something real, the screen was not the best way to explore what was developing between them, especially given the nature of Eden’s online persona and the transactions and interactions that Ryder had to endure as he watched his online lady do what she had to do in order to provide for herself and a very important little boy who needed her in all ways possible. But, as Eden’s perspective became a part of the story line, I was able to understand the reasons behind her actions, especially after Ward introduced readers to Ollie and illustrated how amazing he is and the assistance that he needs. Eden’s life is so much different than Ryder’s life is and that therein lies the problem…how Ryder and Eden make something work between them despite their differences in lifestyles and locations, keeping in mind that the decisions they make not only impact them but a 10 year old boy who is desperate to feel loved and have a family. Ollie and Lorena, a constant presence in Ryder’s life since he was little, played pivotal roles in helping this couple find their way, not only to love but also to how they truly wanted to live their lives, and I appreciated the fact that the major conflict was not really another person but where they lived and why it needed to be that way. Those obstacles that stood in their way were realistically portrayed given the reality of what made up Ryder and Eden’s lives and the fact that they didn’t make decisions without really thinking things through speaks to the type of people they are and what they’re willing to do for love. Love Online’s storyline is definitely a unique take on what kind of relationships develop through the World Wide Web; I’ve read a few other stories that provide insight into the type of profession a cam girl has and what her interactions with her viewers/customers entail, but Ryder and Eden’s story takes things even further because they meet in real life and as readers witness the development of the hero and the heroine’s relationship, the way things evolve speaks to just how real it’s been between them from the very beginning. 4.5 Poison Apples

Sweet and sexy!!. Oh my WOW!! I adored everything about this book from start to finish and boy I really didn't want to finish!! Eden and Ryder certainly meet in a very unconventional way. He can see her, she cannot see him. I love how the anonymity on his part allows them to form a bond unlike many I've seen before. He is able to just be and not worry about any expectations like he does in his life. They connect on such a deep soulful emotional level that once they finally do see each other and then meet in person it is like two halves of a whole. And once they are able to take their relationship to the physical, it's like BOOM!! Fireworks going off all around them!! There is so much more to this story and I don't want to give anything away but be on the lookout for one of my favorite conversations between a man and a 12 year old EVER!! OMG I was laughing out loud while at the same time really feeling so many more emotions than that. This story is simply beautiful and sexy all while being one of the sweetest love stories I've read this year.

Virtual Romance. I loved Ryder and Eden! Their love story was written in the stars! Their relationship starts in the virtual world, but bleeds into reality. Penelope’s words are both romantic and steamy! This book has all the feels and is true magic! 5 stars

Love Online is one of my favorite Penelope books!. Love Online is without a doubt, one of my favorite Penelope books!! I loved everything about this book. The premise of the story, the characters, the relationships formed, the dynamic between Ryder and Eden. Something about this book just gelled with me, and I couldn't put it down. I picked this book up and read it at every free moment. Ryder is the perfect book boyfriend. Born into a life of privilege, being the son of a prominent Hollywood producer, you'd think he would act entitled or spoiled or be one of those arrogant jerks who takes life and women for granted, but he's not at all. I loved how he treated those closest to him, always wanting to make sure they were happy and content. He's had some things happen in his life that left him floundering for a while, but he's back on his feet now and working harder than ever. Eden is a really strong, independent woman who is dealing with the things that life has handed to her. She's doing the best she can, making her way on her own. It's not great and glamorous, but she's proud of what she's accomplished. I loved how she kept a level head and didn't jump to conclusions or make rash decisions, even when things were happening that were out of her control. The secondary characters in this book are all amazing. They complimented the storyline perfectly, and I loved how much they contributed to the story. Ryder and Eden together are combustible. The passion between them is off the charts. They just exude sexuality and when they come together for the first time, holy wowza! Hot, hot, hot!! I urge everyone to go into this book blind. It makes the storyline have a much bigger punch if you don't go in with any spoilers or hints as to what the book is about. Trust me, there's so many things I could be saying about what I loved about Ryder and Eden, but you'll appreciate them and the story more if you just start at page one and get lost in the book. Because that's exactly what I did. I got lost in this story, and was sad when I got to the end because I wanted so much more!! I could read about these two for a long time! As I said, this book is now one of my favorite books by Penelope. Ryder and Eden are definitely giving Mitch and Skylar a run for the money!

Heartwarming. Once again Penelope Ward has captivated my heart and soul. I absolutely loved the premise of Love Online, it's refreshing and an all around beautiful love story. The plot is also unique, original and very romantic. Although Ryder and Eden met in an unconventional way, they had a beautiful connection with each other and amazing chemistry. They are both wonderful characters who possess strength, love and independence. I also found them to be relatable and endearing. Everything about them and their story stole my heart. And their intimate moments were very sexy, hot and passionate. I didn't want to give too much away in my review as I went into this book blind and I feel that other readers should too. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Love Online is a big winner for me and a definite must read!!

Love Online. Love Online is a standalone romance. I loved the premise of Love Online. She is an Online Cam sex worker. He visits her page. Becomes addicted to her online and then pays for an hour with her (he would pay for more time but, she won’t allow it because it will drive her other customers away) For the most part all he does is chat with her. His online name is ScreenGod90 and hers is Montana Lane. His real name is Ryder McNamara and hers is Eden. He’s 28 and she is 24. That’s enough of their bio. They become friends first online and thankfully money isn’t a problem so he can afford all these chats with her. She is a waitress by day and online cam girl at night. This book is HOT & very Sexy! In fact, there should be a warning saying this book may leave you a little breathless from all the Hot & sexiness it exudes! I had an OMG moment while reading Love Online and let out an audible whoosh! Something happens that is devastating and my jaw is on the floor! Love Online is a MUST READ! I love this original story. At least I have never read anything like it before. If you haven’t discovered Penelope Ward you need to! I have really enjoyed reading her books. Of course, I am going to give Love Online 5 + stars. And, I can’t wait to see what is next for this author!

Loved. 4.5 Stars I am a huge fan of Penelope Ward and was super excited to read this book! This is an author that no matter what she writes I have to read it. I loved this book so much! Ryder comes from money and has a job that makes him lots of money. He is lonely and tired of random hook ups. One night he decides to get online and ends up somewhere he’s never been before. Something about this woman is captivating him. Eden has a hard life and works hard to take care of herself and her brother. She is doing a job she doesn’t really want to do but it pays really well. She forms a connection with a user and craves talking to him. The bond these two characters form without even meeting is intense. If your looking for a swoon worthy guy look no further, Ryder is your perfect guy. This was a fast paced sweet romance. I highly recommend it.

Unique Take on Online Dating. There is a reason that Penelope Ward has quickly become one of my go-to authors: one of those authors who you stalk social media to find out when their next release is scheduled to hit shelves. Love Online is your typical Penelope Ward book. She has a hunky, to die-for male lead character - in this case, Ryder McNamera. She also has a quirky, interesting and strong female character - Eden Shortsleeves or Montana Lane - however you choose to refer to her. One very interesting thing about this particular story is that what the title suggests and what the story actually depicts are two very different things indeed. I don't want to leave any spoilers here, so I won't elaborate in the difference, but let's just say that I was quite surprised to find out that the online reference did not necessarily fall in line with a Match.com scenario. In addition to Ryder and Eden, my absolute favorite character in the story is Ollie. A secondary character who steals the show in my option. A romance to the core, a fun and somewhat twisted story with surprises mixed it, Love Online is a fun, summer read.

Love Online. What a wonderful book. I love the way the characters were developed. Ryder and Eden were great together and I loved how wonderful he was with Ollie. Their story wasn’t easy but you could feel the pain they both experienced. Lorena was a hoot! An enjoyable read for sure! Penelope has a way with words for sure.

One click! Fantastic read!. A fantastic yet unique read that will hook you from the start! Devoured this low angst read filled with hot chemistry and flirty banter. Absolutely loved Ryder, so sexy and so good. Eden is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this read.

Review: Love Online. Love Online by Penelope Ward is yet another stellar example of this authors amazing story telling skills. A quirky and cheeky romance that is original, funny, emotional, angst-ridden, and full of sexual chemistry and tension. Eden and Ryder's story was epic! Ryder is the son of a business owner in the movie industry, and by successful, we are talking millions, money is no object, and everyone wants something from him. disenchanted with his life, bored with the soul-suckers that hover around him on the daily, he escapes into an online porn site cam-girl's room. One "Montana Lane" and her violin playing profile picture do more to pique his interest in one minute than anyone else has in months and months. Eden, AKA Montana Lane, has her own very important reasons for being a cam-girl. She needs the money and has no other options available that would pay as good. When "ScreenGod90" makes an appearance the tables turn, she is not just performing for this faceless voice, she is enjoying his company and looks forward to their time together. When he finally puts a face to the profile and voice, well, he's more beautiful than she ever expected and their bond grows even quicker. But that doesn't change the fact that states separate them. That she cannot move away from her family home. That this was doomed before it even began. Can two people from two completely different backgrounds and current lifestyles stand a chance at making their love for each other work or is it just to much to expect from a love found online? Enjoy!

Nearly perfect. I devoured this book in two sittings with only a short break for some sleep in between. It’s been a while since I was able to do that with a book. I loved the story and found it refreshing and different. Recommended!

Sweet and sexy!!. I have to admit that this is my first read obout online dating. I wasn’t sure how this book was going to end up. What I thought was gonna be a simple, fun loving Rom Com ended up being so much more! Love Ryder and Eden’s story! And I love how sweet Ryder is with Ollie! And what would this book be without a little drama from the exes?! At first I was leaning more toward 4 stars because come on all Penelope’s books are amazing but as the book progressed it just got better and better!! Penelope finishes with a bang! 4.5 Stars!! I definitely recommend this super sexy book that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy!!

Love Online. I find that I never read the blurbs for Penelope’s books and they never disappoint me! Ever book I say this is better than the last one and each new release blows me away! This book is my favorite! Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I wanted to lock myself away and hide from the family so I could let it consume me! I loved Ryder and Eden! They were both amazing characters. It’s so hard to say more about them because I don’t want to give anything away! I want you to experience them both without any outside input. This is one of those books that I wish I could unread it so I could read it again!!! Another amazing read by Penelope Ward. Cannot wait for the next book!

Wow... just amazing. Loved it so much. Wow. I read it very slowly cause I did not want it to end. I really loved these characters. Made me feel like I wanted to personally know all of them.

Well, that was unexpected. Well, that was unexpected. I found myself saying that a lot throughout this, and any other, Penelope book I've read, and that's why I love her work. I really enjoyed Eden. Life handed her lemons and she sure as heck made sexy lemonade. My FAVORITE part about her was how she didn't hold anything back from Ryder; if she felt it, she spoke her feelings and her thoughts. Well, except for that one part where she did the cliche "I should tell the hero this very important piece of information, but nah, I'm just gonna keep it to myself." That was frustrating for me. Ryder was similarly dealt a tough hand and suffered a major tragedy which Eden selflessly helped him through. That coupled with his complete acceptance of everything surrounding Eden (no spoilers here!) made him very endearing. Toss in a spunky housekeeper and voila, you have a steamy contemporary romance unlike anything you've ever read before. Definitely worth the price of admission! (I was given a copy of this book in consideration of my honest thoughts)

He is everything you love in a book boyfriend. Eden is perfect she is doing what she needs to provide for her brother. She is so beautiful both inside and out. This book is so full of love and passion that once you start reading it you won’t want to put it down. I couldn’t. I’m sure it’s one of those stories you’ll read again and again. Thank you Penelope.

It was great glad I finished it. I think you really have to be open minded to read this book Ryder , Eden and Ollie we all so charming but the work that Eden did was a little hard for me to take. I get it she had a reason for what she did and I really respect that, but just hard to wrap my head around. I did love the characters

Don't get me wrong - it's also scorching hot - but there is a sweetness to its core that I enjoyed. It's as if Penelope Ward knows that we need characters who are pure and good and have a deliciously naughty side. Ryder and Eden meet online. He knows what she looks like, but she has no idea about him. This gives them a little more freedom to be honest about themselves, which connects them emotionally from the start. Penelope Ward plays with the idea that your soul recognizes its counterpart, having Ryder and Eden get to know each other in this way. It helps that Ryder and Eden, for all the mess that life has thrown at them, are not jaded or hardened. They are cautiously hopeful, and, at their cores, they are good. They also enjoy the sex, and Penelope Ward delivers you some sizzling sexy times. You will see Ryder and Eden connect just as deeply physically as they do emotionally. I enjoyed this book so much. It's just ... sweet.

And although their meet cute wasn’t as conventional as you’d think it would be, I loved it. It was modern. It was provocative. It was every bit enthralling. “Sometimes on a detour, you find what you need in the least likely of places. And then you wonder if that was the direction you were always meant to go.” Fast-paced, endearing and hot as chocolate fudge on a sundae, Love Online is a super sexy and refreshing romance with characters that will absolutely have you swooning, laughing, and your heart bursting at the seams. It’s about finding love in a place you least expect it and learning how to embrace it, the lengths you’d truly go to for the people you care about, and just endless possibilities. “When something is worth fighting for, you don’t wait around to figure out logistics. You say yes, you accept the gift you’ve been given, and you figure out the rest later, because life is too short to be unhappy.” And since this is a Penelope Ward book we’re talking about, it definitely wouldn’t be complete without an unexpected, yet emotional twist or two to top it off. Sweet with just the tiniest bit of angst, you’ll certainly fall in love and enjoy every single second you’ll spend with these characters.

Fun, sexy and unexpected. 4.5 Hearts Love Online is a standalone novel by one of my favorite authors, Penelope Ward. It’s definitely a unique story that some with hate and some with love. I am more leaning toward the love end of the spectrum. I try hard not to judge. The couple doesn’t meet in an usual way but dating is so different nowadays. Ryder’s life changed two years ago. Since then his life has been in the state of going through the motions to survive. That was until he saw her. And after having their first chat, he knew she was different. She made him feel again. Even if it was over a screen behind his keyboard. Their nightly talks turned into the best part of his day. Eden didn’t know what Ryder looked like but it didn’t matter. She felt the connection through their words. She soon relied on their nightly routine. She was falling for a man who could never be her forever. She had baggage. They lived in different states. Different worlds. It would never work but she couldn’t let him go. Ryder and Eden’s relationship is complicated. It was from the very first log-in. The connection was there virtually and physically but could they work in the real world? Overall...I thought this was a good story. It was funny, sexy, and had it’s emotional moments. There was one scene I shocked by but like I said...who am I to judge when it comes to relationships? But as a reader I didn’t think it was necessary. At the same time I like that Penelope took a chance with this story. Quotes: “I may be cute, but I’m definitely not innocent, Eden. Not in any way, shape, or form. “You’re the only man in the world I want to want me.” “Remind me not to get a sundae for dessert.”

Sweet and sexy cyber affair of the heart.. @KindleCrack fell in love with Love Online by @PenelopeWard. This sexy, feel-good romance is equal parts heartwarming and intoxicating. My heart and my ovaries are exploding from this book. I’m away on vacation right now as I’m writing this mini review. I wanted to tear through this book, like high-speed internet fast. I couldn’t do it. I thought maybe it’s because I’m site-seeing here in Iceland. Here I am looking at glaciers and Viking-esque men and wanted more Ryder and Eden. I savored this book and took my time devouring every page. This book was exhilarating. Wow, I used exhilarating to describe a book. I never thought that would happen, but it did. I’m bouncing off the walls from this utterly addicting cyber romance. If you don’t think falling in love online is a reality, wait until you read Ryder and Eden’s story. I fell in love with these virtual characters. I’m still grinning like a loon after reading this sweet and sexy cyber affair of the heart. One-click Love Online! This book is on my Best of 2018 list.

Great Read 4.5 stars. I loved how raw the emotions were in this book. It was a great read for sure. Meeting online is some tricky business so to be able to find the good in online dating its awesome. You feel every emotion that the characters feel. I love that when I read erotic novels. So what an amazing job. I rate this book 4.5 because I just loved this storyline. The character of Ollie I adored so much. I fell head over heels for Ryder. And he is definitely a new book boyfriend. Lol.

Ryder and Eden's story is a bit unconventional, but it has all the feels I have come to LOVE from a Penelope Ward novel. This author never disappoints! She continues to create such heart felt storylines and endearing characters. Characters that sick with you long after their story is finished. I adored Ryder. Despite how hot the cover model is (Isn't that man beyond gorgeous?!), I couldn't help but imagine Scott Eastwood as Ryder. There was just something about the way the author described him that immediately led me to that imagery of Scott. I have to say... I enjoyed it! Ryder is one of the good guys. The kind of guy every girl can only hope to be lucky enough to meet. He will pull at your heart strings and captivate you with his charm. Eden was lovely. Her free spirit and strength is a breath of fresh air. Her life is complicated and full of responsibilities, but when she meets Ryder, all she can think of is the girl she wants to be. It's kind of comical how these two meet, but when they do, the sexual tension between them is off the charts. Love Online may be Penelope Ward's most naughty book yet! If you are looking for a sweet, sexy read with a storyline that will wrap around your heart and a hero and heroine that will remind you why you read romance novels, read Love Online. Incredibly Fun & Emotional Story. There always seems to be more emotional depth to Penelope Ward's books, but this amazing book has all the feels. I loved everything about this story. At the core is Ryder and Eden but they each have such complex lives and histories. It's Ryder incredible compassion that first allows Eden to open herself up when she has vowed not to bring heartache to herself again. The friendship, playful banter and genuine respect that Ryder and Eden have for each other is literally how they begin their relationship. The journey becomes anxious, fearful, joyful, beautiful, funny, painful, heart breaking, and uncertain before these two can come to terms with how much they mean to each other. Ryder has probably taken the lead in the man all the ladies want and Eden is fiercely independent, strong and a fighter until the end. You will no doubt fall in Love Online!

Love. Love can be found anywhere, while it’s not your typical meet cute it’s very much heartwarming. I adored Ryder and while I was a little surprised in the beginning, I loved the way the story played out. And sweet Ollie, how adorable is he!

Love at first click. Sexy! Swoony! Sweet! Ahhhhh Ryder is all of these and more. He’s the one with his heart on his sleeve and still standing up for his beliefs and those he cares about. Ryder meets Eden online on a lonely night, but not in the usual sense of “we met online”. They instantly have a connection and feelings become intense and complicated. This was a super sweet love story, and I was kind of conflicted at first because of just how sweet it is. But there were a few flips and twists and just enough drama to complete it all to make this a memorable read of 2018.

Fantastic Must Read. The title says it all this is a love story about a couple who meet online but don’t be fooled this is no dating site this is one sizzling hot read and once again in true Penelope Ward fashion we get a book that captivates and entertains us with yet another adorable couple. Ryder and Eden meet online he can see her but she has no idea what he looks like but that doesn’t stop her falling for the man who loves to chat but this relationship was always going to be bumpy there was always going to be some hurdles to cross and once you add in the reason Eden is online in the first place your heart will skip some beats as you see just how generous Ryder can be with his love and affection....... I really don’t want to give too much of the story away all I’m going to say is I fell big time for Ryder and Eden was just perfect for him this book had me feeling warm and tender it had me swooning and it had me giggling at the witty banter between a couple with sizzling chemistry. This was a fantastic must read book.

Ryder is the caring and protective soul, he says what he means and it’s always so heartfelt and true. I fell in love with his beautiful heart, his nature and just his whole manner about him!! What this book will make you feel and discover about your own life is astounding! Are you truly happy with where your life is, who you are with??!! The characters just made this whole story feel so genuine, so profound that I didn’t want it to end!! I would dearly love to give this book 10 stars as it touched my heart in a big way.

Penelope’s best book EVER. I read it in one sitting! Could not put it down! I went in blind and I’m so glad I did. I wasn’t expecting anything so I think it made it so much more enjoyable. This is hands down my new favourite of Penelope’s books! I can’t say much without giving anything away so I’ll be vague. I loved all the characters, I loved that the storyline was different from other things I’ve read and it made me laugh out loud. So basically, I loved it!

LOVE ONLINE is a sweet story of romance and love with some ‘unrealistic’ expectations and situations that left me shaking my head including moving an entire house across several state lines. The character driven premise is engaging and inviting; the romance is sensitive and seductive; the characters are animated and sassy. LOVE ONLINE is an imaginative and spicy treat for late night romantics.

Heartwarming and beautiful. Awwwww, this book has all the feels! It was refreshing, unique, hilarious, sexy, heartbreaking and beautiful! These two characters were amazingly sweet and genuine and had chemistry for days! I also adored 2 of the other characters as well! They were a perfect addition to this story! I don’t want to give away any of the story because I feel you should experience it as a whole on your own, but it was a phenomenal blend of fun, romance and heartwarming love! Fabulous story! This author never disappoints me!

Simply Amazing❤️. I didn’t think Penelope could get close to topping my all time favourite of hers but she sure did come close with this one. Ryder and Eden. Their story very different. The way they meet very unique. What an amazing interesting fascinating plot. I was captured and fascinated from the first page. There were some hmmm moments. There were some awwww moments. And there were some “oh no” moments. The hmmm moments were like......not sure if this is going to work out. The awwww moments were when you witness the absolutely adorable soft side of Ryder. The “oh no” moment when you fear things are falling apart. To sum it all up. An amazing beautiful story. Loved the story. Loved the character. Definitely one of my top reads by Penelope. And a definite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star read for me.

Amazing. I received this highly anticipated story and drove right in. I read the first half in one sitting and the second half in another. Too bad I had to be an adult for a while in between. So I basically devoured this unique story in a few short hours. This is by far one of 2018 BEST read story. A solid 10 Star perfection. I will not say much about what this story is about because there are so many twist and jaw dropping moments. I LOVE RYDER. I was hooked from the first page to the last one read and even then I wanted more. This story made me feel so many different emotions. An unique storyline that flowed well. The characters were so well developed that I felt what they were feeling. The plot twists were so unexpected that I was left speechless. It was a deep and raw emotional story that made me shed quite a few tears along the way. Warning!!!! This is an HIGHLY addicting story that will make the readers forget everything around them. This is one story that will stay with me for quite a while. Standalone told in a dual POV with an amazing HEA. I strongly recommend this story. All of this author’s previous titles are all worth the readers precious time and money.

Love Online. Penelope Ward is truly an amazing author! This book is fresh and unlike anything you may have read before! I read it in one weekend and it was fantastic! A definite full 5 stars!
