The detective Kay hunter box set 1-3. 3 separate novels, all taking place in England. If you’re not familiar with British lingo, it’s possible you will object to the frequency of it. i.e. torch =flashlight, etc. I found it off putting. The detective mysteries are imaginative, well written, and suspenseful.

Fantastic Series. I love this series. Form the very first book I was hooked on the action and the tension as well as the gripping storylines which pulled me in as a reader. As the lead character, Kay Hunter is a determined and focused Detective but we get to see her human side with her partner Adam, and her relationship with her team is superb, in spite of pressures from higher up the chain of command. If you are looking for a brilliant police thriller series to get your teeth into, one which has a great protagonist, fast paced action and a wonderful sense of place in it's setting of Kent, this is the series for you. Love it. And each book comes with its own resident animal courtesy of Adam's Veterinary practice. I have to say that Sid will always have a place in my heart :)

A great British detective series. Absolutely love the Kay Hunter police procedural novels by Rachel Amphlett. I look forward with trepidation to each new release. Such fantastic storylines that keep you on the edge. Fabulous plots and characters. Compelling reading, highly recommend this brilliant crime thriller series.

An excellent series of detective novels. The Kay Hunter series is fantastic, I love this set of books, they will have you gripped unable to put the book down. They are full of suspense, action, twists that you will not see coming and very cleverly written story lines. I’m a big Rachel Amphlett fan and every time a new Kay Hunter is released I am a happy woman! I highly recommend this series of books they are all a really great read.
