It is a time of political turmoil once more as the fading King Edward begins to lose control over his successors and their supporters. A must read for fictional history readers and all fans of Saxon Tales series!. Great read! Another Saxon tale of Uhtred and his struggle to keep sworn allegiances. Can’t wait to see BBC televised adaptation of this book. Perhaps I could see author, Bernard Cornwell starring in one of the episodes :)
Waiting for the next book. Fast paced and Uthred is a great hero in all of the books.
