Loved it!. This was the first of Bernard Corwell's books that I read. It was like a gateway drug for me. I am absolutely in love with his work and cannot put it down! This book is so well written and provides such a thrill ride and such a neat concept of tribal warfare and sorcery!
The true story.... Cornwell is by far the best historical faction (sic!) writer. He intertwines historical facts with his breathtaking fictional writing, leaving you everything with a ‘this is how it really could have been’ feeling. This book again follows that trail, bringing us as close to the actual Stonehenge as we probably can get.
Struggled. Struggled to read through this. Very disappointing.
