Worth the read. I read this book in 2 days. I laughed, I cried, and importantly, I ached for someone I don’t even know. At first I questioned the reason for this book. Once I read the first chapter or two, it was clear that this story needed to be shared immediately. I look at Whitney Houston as more than a singer who battled love, and addiction. I look at her as someone with an incredible gift, and a huge heart, who unfortunately relied on people who could not give her the love she needed. This was a loving and honest depiction of her life, and I’m happy that Robyn shared this with us.

If I could give it 10 stars I would!. Best book I’ve read in a while. I had a hard time putting it down. Story of love, friendship, loyalty, heartbreak and commitment. I’ll definitely be rereading this one over!

This Book Rings True. Thank you for telling the story of Whitney and you from your perspective. She really was The Voice of her Era and her life was cut short way too soon. She continues to be greatly missed by many.

A Song For You Review. This book is one of the greatest books I’ve ever read. The way that Robyn weaves her life with Whitney’s life allowed you to have a full picture of the times they had. We got a chance to see all of the characters good and not so good behaviors. It was written fairly. Most bio books recounts the main character as an angel. Not this book. This was Robyn’s story and she told it beautifully. The words take you on a Time Machine and it feels like you’re right there experiencing the experiences with the characters. Job well written Robyn!

Heartfelt, captivating. It was a beautiful complete story of everything we all encounter in life. I just can’t say enough; it has love, triumph, loss, addiction, therapy, it’s the full human experience. You will see yourself somewhere in this story. It was amazing.

Insightful. You never really know what’s going on behind the scenes. This was a good read, makes me wonder if she had more people in her corner looking after her instead of using her would she be alive today.

Amazing. I never once thought that Robyn would have trashed her best friend and she did not as some may think. It’s a very personal and insightful story about Robyn and her best friend, Whitney. I’m glad Robyn told her story.

Robyn Smith: A song for you!. I think Robyn's book is the most honest book to come out about Whitney. Robyn was unselfish to a fault with a very tender heart, and above all she is incredibly smart and very driven. This is by far the best Whitney book I have read by far. Although I have read Bobby Brown's book and at the time thought he was a nice guy. He claimed to never hit women are took a penny from Whitney, all I can say he was a legend in his own mind. Robyn gives more so much more detail into the real Whitney and we get to see the side of the entertainment industry. She discovered Silvia, was a big part of Whitney's success that she doesn't give herself enough credit for. I loved this book and fell in love with Robyn the person she was and is. So happy she has gone on to have real love with Lisa and her children.

Very moving. I grew up listening to Whitney & her death affected me very much. 7 yrs later I miss her & suspect I always will. I had my doubts about this book & Robyn’s intentions. That all changed once I started reading it. I understand why she wrote it & I’m very happy she did. It’s very moving & honest & we get an insight into the kind of person Whitney was. Her light was extinguished too soon, but she was lucky to have had Robyn there to love her unconditionally. We should all be so lucky. Thanks Robyn.
