Intense!!. Selma can see Demons!! She has seen them her whole life. Now that she is older she unfortunately discovers to her horror that she is a Pure Breeder to those creatures. She has to escape!!

Entertaining. Branded draws you in from the start and leaves you wanting more. Definitely a page turner...

Great start to a promising series. What a great start for what looks like a promising series. Poor Selma can’t seem to catch a break. She began seeing monsters at a young age. Of course no one else sees them so her journey began in and out of Therapist offices and hospitals. Only those monsters were real. Trying to help out another girl lands her back in trouble and up close and personal with the monsters she fears. Great 1 part to the series. Looking forward to more. Great book. This is a wonderful start to a series!!! The main character is well written and vivid with tons of emotional connection. The story is fast paced with lots of drama and steamy hot passion.

Intriguing. An interesting take on demons. The prequel is intriguing enough to make me want to read the next book. I liked Selma and am really curious to see what is going to happen to her. She seems like a heroine who is weak at the beginning but becomes stronger in the course of the story. I gave the prequel three stars because there were a few inconsistencies, and some things made me cringe and roll my eyes. Nevertheless, I’m waiting to read the next book with great anticipation.

Good. Really good book and twist on demon lure

An excellent introduction to a new universe and fantastic characters!. I received arc for honest review from the author. I should say that I have the original and was curious to see how Nora Ash changed/revised this from the original. I think this is a less gritty or dramatic telling of Selma’s story. While Nora gave Selma more of a backstory in how she came to attention of the demons, I think Selma was made to be to naive or too gullible. Don’t want to give spoilers, but I can’t help thinking Selma should have looked for a way out prior to getting involved with first demon. Also, the hero could have made his entry earlier. Regardless, I adore this series and loved the originals. You will all fall in love with the hero, once he makes an appearance. Nora writes in a fast paced, modern style, which fits with the theme of these books. I can’t wait for the new version of Demon’s Mark, and the subsequent books! I have many of Nora’s books and love her feisty heroines and brash, in your face heroes, as well as the witty dialogue between the characters!

FANTASTIC!. Nora Ash always pushes the limits in her writing and branded is no exception. So many books these days have similar plots but not Nora's, they always have twists and turns you'd never expect that keep you up all night to finish! The excitement starts right off the bat and keeps you entangled in their world until the very end. I can't wait for the next one!!!!!

Branded. It is hot with twists that you do not see coming. If you can manage heat, then the start of this series is for you.

The doctor is in!. This is a prequel to the upcoming Nora Ash’s book called Demon’s Mark, it’s a revamp of an old series. I loved it, I can’t wait to see the next book, I want to see more of Selma because I am rooting for her to take over the world, or at least her fear of demons. This is just a little taste of what is to come and you would not be disappointed!

Selma Finds her Demons are Real!. Nota Ash begins her series, that includes Branded, as this Breeder is fought over by a host of Demons. This story finds action and mystery, a hint of romance, and lots of sexual intensity with many dark components. Nora Ash creates a paranormal world that makes you hold your breath, waiting to see what will happen next!

Another HOT Nora Ash Book!!. While short, this story is action packed and fast paced. If you’re a fan of dark erotica, the Nora Ash’s writing is perfect for you, and this story delivers in the typical, fantastic Nora Ash style. I would absolutely recommend this book and cannot wait to read the next book!!

Hot!. This was a dark demon erotica with a good plot. Definitely a guilty pleasure. Be forewarned it leaves off with a cliffhanger that has you anxious for more... which I will be grabbing as soon as it releases.

A Smooth Edit. A more edited version of the original, the new Branded is just as compelling as it’s predecessor, but without the dramatic ending/cliff hanger. Fast-paced, Branded throws you right into the story to learn everything is not as it seems!! So excited to continue this journey with Selma in Demon’s Mark Part One!!

Hot Read. I just love this authors work. This story has smut but also a storyline that pulls you in. It ends with a cliffhanger but it leaves you wanting more, to see where this story goes and who Selma ends up with. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Branded. Selma sees demons. It’s almost a shame she really isn’t crazy even though she is in a mental hospital. On top of that, her doctor is one of the demons. How is she going to survive? Especially when he informs her she is pure breeder. It is a series so you have to read from the beginning to follow Selma’s story. Love Nora Ash.

Different yet similar.... The original and the new are definitely the same but also different. I’m glad Nora added more to the new version and she actually adds a past event for Selma which is amazing. Also, there’s not really a cliffhanger. It leaves you wondering, but it’s not like the original where it’s just ends with Dr. Hershey asking what’s Selma doing. Dark. This dark tale introduces us to Selma who can see demons and gets sent to an institution where a Demon Doctor takes advantage. Not a book for the faint of heart but quite a dark tale that will peak your curiosity for the rest of Selma’s story.

Enjoyable Read – Dark, Yet Sexy. I enjoyed reading about the history of the beginning of Selma’s story. It filled in a lot of the blanks for me. Enjoyed the book. Can’t wait until the next book comes out!

Get it girl!. I love the world that Nora has built in this series. Dark, suspenseful, steamy, delicious, etc. The heroine is a strong, independent woman who goes after what she wants. The demons are twisted, sexy monsters. What’s not to like? This book ends on a cliffhanger, and I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment!

Huge fan of this. I’m pleasantly surprised by the way this book turned out. Everything flowed smoothly and was very interesting. Can’t wait for the second part!

Pleasant surprise!. Paranormal romance is not a genre that I usually read. I have enjoyed other books by Nora Ash and had an opportunity to read this prequel. I am glad that I did! I thoroughly enjoyed this book - it had romance, intrigue, betrayal coated with some darkness. I look forward to reading Demon’s Mark.

I became a Nora Ash fan in 2015 when Branded was originally published as a six-part serialized erotic romance. It has now been revised, expanded, and released as a prequel to the deliciously dark Demon’s Mark series. I purchased and read all six of the original installments, so I was familiar with the characters and storyline, but I found myself once again completely spellbound from the first page till the last. Branded is an imaginative, well written, sexy, steamy, deliciously wicked, as well as hopelessly addictive, erotic romance, and though some of the original, more steamy content has been replaced, the story was still edgy and hot as hades! Pun intended! lol... The dialog was smart, well executed, and flows effortlessly. There were so many things I adored about the book, but my favorite component by far was the intriguing cast characters. They literally explode from the pages and capture your imagination as well as your heart. I absolutely loved it! If you enjoy dark, gritty romantic fantasy, then this series is screaming your name but beware, this tale is not for the faint of heart! As a child, everyone thought Selma's strange behavior was just a result of a child's overactive imagination but as she grew older and the "hallucinations" continued, Selma feared she may be mentally ill. She was bounced from one doctor and mental facility to another until she finally realized she must lie to everyone and pretend she didn't see the monsters that seemed to leer and follow her everywhere. For years, she managed to hide it well, until she tried to rescue an innocent woman from a vicious attack by monsters who looked like demons, at least to her. But as a reward for her efforts, Selma now discovers herself alone, confused, desolate, defeated, and confined to Ravenswood House, a facility for the mentally ill. Little did she know that the monsters were very real, and that her new doctor, Martin Hershey, was actually a monster himself and had so much more in store for his lovely new patient than just psychiatric therapy. Now he wants her for himself! Oh my! Will Selma ever be able to escape her "demons"? We’ll see! So, did I like this book? I didn’t just like it; I loved it! I actually enjoyed it more than the original story. Will I read this author again? Absolutely! I can hardly wait to read the additional books in the series. Would I recommend it! You bet but only for adult readers since it does contain explicit sex scenes. And finally, was I entertained? Completely! It’s deliciously dark, delightfully wicked, and fabulously entertaining!

Interesting world. The world created in this book is very intriguing. This was my first demon book and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in the next one. The demons anatomy is definitely a fun thing I hope to see more of!

Seeing demons?. This book was great. Being one of few to see something others can’t seems like a hard life. Especially when those things are demons. Selma learns to cope, but can’t change who she is... which leads her into her situation😐 I loved this book and can’t wait to read the next!

Wow. I am relatively new to Nora Ash and this book is as good as her other books. I was disappointed when Selma let the demon put the ring on her but boy did the action take off after that. I can't wait to read the following book and shake my head at all the action coming Selma's way.

Not too bad. So far it was good.. Short little pre read .. yes I’ll give the first book a go. Had a pretty good storyline so far. Hope it continues into the first book. the s3x wasn’t over done and steamy hot s3x.

Great read. Branded is a reworked novel, and I’ve had the honour of previewing prior to release by the auth Nora Ash. This is the story of Selma, who has an extraordinary talent. She sees demons, scaled horned creatures, unlike the rest of humanity. They walk, live and work amongst us. These demons can warp a humans perception of what is reality and what isn’t. She learnt from an early age to ignore them, least taking notice of them, only brings her to their notice. After all, she was diagnosed as being unbalanced by professionals. So it pays to be ignorant. Right? However, after witnessing a young woman being pulled into an ally by three demons. Armed with a long pipe she enters the ally to take on three demons. Yep. Maybe not the best of decisions. She gets entangled into a situation she didn’t want to be in, passes out, and wakes up in a psychiatric hospital, where her doctor is, yep, one of them. How will she survive? This ends with a cliffhanger, as Branded is a prequel to Demon’s Mark. I love Branded, and Selma, though she is traumatised by seeing demons and almost being killed by one early in life, hasn’t made her a shrinking violet.

Branded. This is a hot, steamy and suspense filled book. Selma is able to see through demons human disguises, she has managed to hid her ability for 10 years, but after trying to stop a demon attack on another girl her life has just become very complicated. Can't wait to see what happens to Selma when Marathin realises she has escaped.

Intriguing. I love the cover! Branded is a prequel novella, and the first installment in the six parts of the Demon’s Mark Series, a dark erotica paranormal story. What did I just read? For sure, this novella isn't a romance. The story has demons, dark erotic scenes, and dubious consent. Selma, the main character, is a strong and intriguing woman. The storyline is original, intriguing, raw, and disturbing. This is not for the faint-hearted. This story is too short, and I have no idea how to honestly rate it. I'm intrigued enough to want to read the second installment in this Series.

Branded by Nora Ash (Demon’s Mark Prequel). I enjoyed this book, i was drawn to it from the beginning. I’m actually intrigued with Selma’s so called powers, which everyone seems to want to take away from her and why. Dr. Martin is not on the up and up with her. He uses seduction to entice her into submission as well as mind control. Maybe he’s into BDSM DEMON style; can’t wait to find out in the full length novel Demon’s Mark! I enjoy 😉 this authors writing style, she has a way of captivating her reader and I love everything that’s paranormal, especially characters that possess huge “eyesight “. Until next time Suzanne
