Wow. A fantastic modern allegory.

Captivating. Ummmm I don’t usually read for fun but I finished this book in a day?!

A take on the growing human situation. I did genuinely enjoy this book. I am giving it a 4, because I gave the first book a 5 and I cannot say I enjoyed it better. There are times when sometimes it felt a bit much and dragged on, but there were also times when you were forced to rethink how we view our world, just as An Absolutely Remarkable Thing did (if not more). I would say where the last assessed human's connection with social media, this one assessed our relationship to reality; our relationship to other humans, to the internet and to our minds. How we can rely on one thing so much that it becomes everything to us. I think in the current climate of our world, this is a very important read. (p.s. this book is probably 70% more interesting on audiobook).

Read it, like, now. This book is fun and challenging and completely exceptional. If you spend any amount of time on the social internet, you need to read it.

An Beautiful Ending. What a great conclusion to a series! And how eerie it is to see so much of this book’s ideas at play in the world. Hank’s book sucked me and made me really want to read for the first time in a good while.

A beautifully foolish endeavor. You can see an underlying effort to tackle the problems engendered by AI and the dysfunctions of electronic isolation in this story. It is also entertaining and moves more quickly than the first book of the pair. We thought it would make a terrific movie.
