Looking for answers. Once again Michelle St James has given us what we expect. Fighting Chance is the second book in the Second Chance trilogy. Declan, Kate, and the MIS team are still trying to find out the motive for Mac Walsh’s murder. The more they dig the more they find out about Mac’s best friend digging into the financials of Walsh Media. There is a definite plot twist when they unexpectedly find a connection between Neil and Beth. At the same time Declan and his son are bonding and he is getting his second chance with Kate. You will be on the edge of your seat in anticipation to find out what happens.

Must read. Fighting Chance is the 2nd book in the series. This series is about Decline & Kate. In this book We find out that Kate's Uncle was responsible for Kate's fathers plain crash. Decline is trying to find answers and get a big surprise as Kate had her own secret about her son Griffin . This book has twist and turns,passion and I can't wait for the next book to find out if Kate's sister had something to do with the plain crash or was it Beth's farther (Neil) worrying alone .The 3rd book will definitely be a page turner.

Fighting Chance. In the sequel to Second Chance, we follow as Declan and Kate look further into the death of Kate’s father. With Kate revealing the truth about Griffin, this is no longer just business for Declan. Once again, Michelle takes us on a journey full of suspense and some really hot scenes. I couldn’t wait to turn the page, and now am anxiously waiting for the third and final installment!

Loved This Book!. This is the 2nd book in this series and it doesn’t disappoint! This book had me on the edge of my seat waiting for what was going to happen next! Michelle St. James draws you into her stories with a wonderful storyline and fabulous characters! I can’t wait to find out how Declan and Kate’s story ends! Love the book!

Can’t wait to find out what happens with Declan and Kate!. Can’t wait to find out what happens with Declan and Kate! With the second books of the trilogies for Michelle, they are pretty much filler where we get more information and less action, and this book fits the pattern. We get confirmation of who was behind the murder for hire of Kate’s father, and his relation to the family. What’s also intriguing is that we also get to know more about Kate’s family, particularly her sister and the role she might have played in things. On the opposite side of the investigation, we also see the relationship between Declan and Kate grow to the point of them becoming an official item and introducing him to Kate’s son with his correct title. I’m interested and excited to see what happens in the final book of this trilogy, especially after what happens at the end of this book that is definitely going to lead them on a crazy hunt! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

So much betrayal. Very disappointed in Annie people make mistakes but Lord. Mac was supposed to be the larger than life person how could he continue to trust Neil after such a huge betrayal. He was a great guy just…Never buy into keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. You don’t want to have to continually watch your back.
